"Dawww you guys, are just too cute together," Carleen said snuggling Grace and Ribbions. "Oh so when is the wedding date, how many eevees are you thinking about having?" Carleen asked.
"GLAY! GLAY! GLAY-GLAY! GLAY!" Grace starts barking excitedly.
"Umm Ms. Carleen umm I don't think I should ask them that question," Yuzu told Carleen.
"Your right, but I am confused by accident what do you mean Grace and Ribbons?" Carleen asked. "What exactly happened and what did Ashley do?" Carleen asked Grace and Ribbons.
Grace pulls free from Carleen. "OH, I'LL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT THAT-" she starts.
"Let it go, Grace. It all worked out, right?" Ribbons teases, still enjoying snuggling with Carleen.

"Ahhhh speak of the Delohox," Carleen said as she saw Ashley and G-Ninja exit from the woods. "Ashley get your Delphox over here right now," Carleen said as she called for Ashley. Ashley began to very nervously make her towards Carleen afraid what Grace and Ribbons told her. "So little Missy you weren't misusing your powers again were you," Carleen said looking at the guilty Delphox.
"heh heh looks like your about to get G Ninja right about now," G Ninja taunted Ashley.
"Del Del Phox Dellll," Ashley said to Carleen.
"Ashlllley, what did you do to Grace and Ribbons?" Carleen asked.
"Delohox Del," Ashley replied not even looking at Carleen.
"Oh now I know something is really going on, you only talk like that when you did something," Carleen said to Ashley. Catleen then scooped up Grace and held her so Ashley had to face both Grace and Ribbions. "Look at these sweet sweet innocent Pokémon," Carleen said nuzzling both Grace and Ribbions.
"Now Ashley what did you do and you better answer me for real," Carleen told Ashley while giving her a death glare.
"I might have used my pyshcic powers to tell Ribbions that Grace has a huge crush on him," Ashley said to Carleen.
"Annnndddd," Carleen said to Ashley because she could tell Ashley was hiding something.
"I might have burned her hind leg in a moment of anger," Ashley told Carleen.
"Well now what should I do to you?" Carleen told Ashley. "Well first off apologize to this sweet innocent Glacieon," Carleen said as she held Grace close to Ashley.
"Delllll Phoxxx," Ashley said while bowing to Grace.
"Next about your punishment, hmmm now what should I do to you," Carleen told a very anxouis Ashley. "You know what I am not going to do anything Ashley," Carleen said as Ashley looked relieve. "Yeah you heard me I will not determine your punishment, Grace here will determine your punishment," Carleen said as Ashley looked like she wanted to faint. "Since you decided to read Grace's mind and tell Grace's secret and since you burned Grace, she will determine your punishment, you sweet sweet cute and cuddley Pokémon," Carleen said as she nuzzled Grace.
Ashley looked like she wanted to crawl into a hole. (Unfortunately, she doesn't know dig.)

Micah watches Corva leave, a little envious. He would much prefer spending time with Scarlet and his other Pokemon than organizing what could very well be a suicidal raid on a Nova base first thing in the morning. He suppresses the urge to sigh and turns to address Steel.
"I have an idea, but it's a risky one. And it largely depends on how fast you all can move- and how much havoc you can make."

Grace smiles evilly from Carleen's arms. Jude shakes his head. "That's a mistake, Carla. Grace is pretty petty, y'know."
"You're going to go easy on her, right?" Ribbons asks.
"Oh, no," Grace cackles.
"You started it," Ribbons reminds her.
"She escalated it! I didn't ask for her help in the first place!"
Ribbons pokes her stomach. "Come on, be nice. Make friends."
"Eep! I don't..."
"Pleeeeease? For me? Besides, if she hadn't done what she did, I wouldn't be able to do this!" He leans over and nips at her ear.
"Th... Th... That's... Nnngh... OK..." Grace admits defeat. She wiggles out of Carleen's hug, walks over to Ashley, and stares up at her expectantly a few seconds. Finally, she gives Ashley a a gentle headbutt. "Glay." Corva arrives in the glade and rummages carefully through the bush for the rest of her team. The bush is pretty clearly messed up from her little dive last night. Suspicious. Need a new hiding place. Should I tell Micah? Mm. Nah. He'll figure it out. "Come on out everyone! Yes, hello, there's a good- no, no! Yes, I brought some of your favorite berries. Don't just steal them! I'm sorry I didn't visit last night...! We had a visitor. Oh... I may have to introduce you sometime... I don't like the idea of him knowing about you, but if he's going to be around a lot... Better than not seeing you half the time... Hehe... I have good news! We killed a good number of Nova last night! About a dozen. About a dozen bastards closer to Jude coming home... Hehe, come here. Give me a hug. Ten times better than Fluff-bird..." "We can move pretty quick. Been hitting this base on and off for almost a month and haven't been busted yet," Ice tells Micah.
"Firepower's not a problem!" Fire announces. He pulls out a Pokeball and tosses out a Magmortar. "Buster here can-"
"The issue is collateral damage to the city," Fairy cuts in. "We need to keep it minimal. Galactic's public image isn't... great. But most people realize we're still better than Nova. If that changes, it could be an issue for us."
"Pretty sure Steel's constant nagging's the only reason Kalyke's not already leveled the city... She can be a bit single-minded," Ground says.
Dragon laughs. "She can't wait to break out our li'l 'trump card' we've been working on. 's a real problem. Barely able to convince her not to every time. Keeps pointing out how minimal damage'll be. Prob'ly can't convince her to hold off more'n a day or two..."
"...As they say," Steel says. "Why don't you tell me what you're thinking and I'll tell you how feasible it is."

... Trump card, huh? Let's hope I don't have to break out mine...
Micah glances down to the Pokeballs at his waist, and the one containing his Salamence. Its destructive power was unparalleled, rivaling that of even a Legendary Pokemon. But the more he used Salamence for battle, the less chance he had of ever opening its heart again...
He looks back up to Steel. "I would highly recommend we don't destroy Lilycove city. So hopefully the Commander will be able to resist the urge to use her trump card for a little while longer. My plan is simple. We create a secondary diversion and make Nova think it's the real attack. Meanwhile, I sneak into the base, get the information I need, cause a little havoc, slip into a Nova uniform, start yelling the rebels are inside the base, and walk right out the front door. I know Nova procedure and base layout. I know the patrols, and I know what defenses they're likely to have. I'm also the absolute best at getting past them. The old Aqua Base hasn't been under their control for long, and it's not a priority to them, so the best defenses it will have are a few Starbursted Pokemon on patrol, cameras, and whatever tech leftover from the old occupants. My stealth field will allow me to slip past the normal cameras with ease, and I have... Ways of dealing with the Starbursted Pokemon. What you all will need to do is buy me enough time to get in and get what I need. You need to stage an attack, after the Commander's raid on the outpost is in full swing, and make it flashy enough that the Lieutenant will believe it's a real, full-scale attack, without actually damaging the city. You'll need to be quick, and retreat into the forest, so as not to draw them into a head-on confrontation. Keep an alternating line of fire. One team attacks, the other retreats, and then they switch. The Lieutenant is a fool. He will be unable to cope with the combined chaos, and we will use that to our advantage to escape. However, if we pull this off, we're going to have to fall back for a while and leave the Hornet's nest alone for a few days. As much as I want to take back Lilycove, we're all better off with a fool in charge, than someone who's actually competent. That would get real tricky, real fast. The Lieutenant would need at least a week to regroup and come after us, and we'd need to have a better hideout than this by then."

Steel sighs heavily and adjusts his glasses. "Alright, let's work backwards here. Yes, we have a fallback point. However, I'm not sure I should tell you considering how likely this plan is to get you captured, or, if you're lucky, just killed. I don't care how intelligent, skilled, lucky, stealthy, or experienced you are. Going in there alone is foolish. Beyond foolish. Borderline suicide. Moving on. I already voiced my objections to splitting into two groups. I hardly feel I need to mention how I feel about three groups. As for making a second distraction... That much, at least, we can handle with ease. But, for some reason, the Chief decided to entrust you with our plan. We'll be fine, but if you're so set on killing yourself against my objections, we'll follow your orders."
"Jeez, Steel, lighten up a bit..." Ice suggests. "I'm sorry..." Corva says. "I have to go now. Don't worry, I'll be back. After killing a lot of Nova! Don't make that face... Have I ever lied to you before? I'll be back soon, I promise."

"I see," Micah says, his voice perfectly calm. "I was hoping you would have a bit more vision than that. But it seems that's your limit."
He slides his visor open and gives Steel a hard look. "There is less than a one percent chance of me being discovered. If I am discovered, and there is no other way for me to escape, I can simply blow a hole in the roof of the base and escape that way. A leader must understand what risks are acceptable and what risks are not. That is why the Commander left me in charge."
He slides his visor back down. "You have your orders. I must make preparations before we begin."
Without another word, Micah walked out of the cave. He didn't look back.
-----
Intending to try and connect with his Salamence before the mission, Micah headed to the glade south of the base. When he reached it however, he stopped suddenly upon seeing Corva surrounded by several Pokemon that were obviously hers.
"My apologies Commander," he says quickly, remembering that she had an overprotective fear that rivaled his when it came to her Pokemon. "I should have known you would be here. I won't bother you."

"Heeek!" Corva shrieks. She drops to her back. The Flareon she was wrestling with doesn't get the message and assumes she's playing, pouncing on her. Kon growls before realizing who it is and settling for taking a guarded position.
Jolteon looks up from his food bowl and stares just long enough to swallow a mouthful of food before returning to his meal. Leafeon nervously crouches behind Corva and Flareon. An Espeon breaks away from playing with Shade, bounding over to Micah to investigate him carefully.
It's Micah. Just. Micah. Corva takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly while fending off the Flareon's playful nips. "Hello, Micah. I was just... things. Do not tell me you lost your bird?"

Micah shakes his head and bends down to hold his hand out for Espeon to investigate. He moves slowly and carefully. When the Pokemon tentatively steps forward, Micah gives a rare smile.
"No, I came out here for the same reason as you; to spend some time with my Pokemon."
He slowly retracts his hand and takes off his helmet, setting it down on the grass beside him, moving very deliberately so as not to spook Corva's Espeon, or her other Pokemon. He looks over at Corva, his expression deadly serious. "Commander, I will never do anything to harm your Pokemon. I will take the very knowledge of their existence to my grave. I give you my word. Because I feel the same as you. I know what it's like to be terrified of losing the only things you have left."
He reaches down to touch the Pokeballs at his waist. "Would you like to meet my Ninetails?"

"They aren't all Corva has left!" Corva snarls, her voice suddenly full of emotion. "Jude is... still alive. Once Corva destroys Nova, he'll come out of hiding. Then we can..."
The Espeon observes Micah's pokeballs with interest, giving them a gentle, suggestive psychic tug. Flareon slips out of Corva's grip to sit next to him, watching Micah expectantly.

Jude...? Must be someone from her family...
Micah hangs his head low, looking at the ground, and shifts his feet nervously, unsure what to say. The action is decidedly boyish, and he suddenly seems like the young kid that he actually is. "... I'm sorry. I meant no offense. I'll leave you alone."

Corva continues to lie on her back as she observes Micah impassively. Leafeon continues to crouch behind her.
Espeon turns to her as it starts to look like Micah isn't going to call out his Pokemon. "Es?" he pleads sadly.
Corva immediately drops through a portal, emerging upright in front of Micah. "Silly Micah didn't know. And silly Micah helped kill Nova." She ruffles his hair. "Corva will forgive Micah. If he lets Sync play with Ninetails. And a hug. From Bitey-Fluff-Bird."

Ashley accepted the headbutt and then with a "Dellllphoxx," went to go lie next to a tree.
"Greninja Ninja," G-Ninja shrugged as he sat next to Ashley.
Yuzu seeing the pair of Grace and Ribbions together filled her with much joy. "Pika Piii Pikaa," Pika said as he approached Yuzu.
"Oh don't worry I haven't forgot about you," Yuzu said landing next to Pika.
Yuzu then motioned for Grace so that only her and Grace could be alone. "So Grace why were you really nipping at me?" Yuzu asked so that only Grace could hear.
"Jude I am so sorry my Pokémon was being such a Bullymon (original term used by Dragon Sama credit given to him) to Grace," Carleen said. "I swear sometimes she can be such a pain sometimes," Carleeb sighed. "Geez ever since I found her as a Fennekin and G-Ninja as a Froakie, Ashley always tend to be a mischievous especially, when she evolved to a Braxien," Carleen said.
"Honestly, Physcic types can be such a pain sometimes," Carleen said.
"Fletching Fletch Fletcheon," Anna said as she was still wearing a pair of brown felt ears.
"Hey guys let me introduce you to Fletcheon," Carla said as Anna began to chirp away.

Micah nearly jumps out of his skin when Corva pops out in front of him, but then he smiles. "That seems fair. Well, Bitey-Fluff-Bird? Wanna give Corva a hug?"
The air shimmers beside Micah as Latias materializes into view. "Oh fine. But I'll have you know I was going to hug you both anyway."
Latias lovingly nuzzles Micah, hugs him, then nuzzles Corva and hugs her too. Micah reaches down and unclasps Lilia's Pokeball. The Pokeball grows in size in his hand and Micah tosses it into the air, releasing a stream of light. He catches the Pokeball back in his hand, as the light materializes into the form of a rare and beautiful Ninetails with a coat of pale blue fur and large blue eyes. The Ninetales stretched and cried happily.
"Niiiiine!"
Then, noticing all the other new Pokemon and the strange, unknown woman, she quickly moved to hide behind Micah, nuzzling him fearfully. Micah smiled widely and knelt down to pet her, and she licked his hand affectionately. "Corva and friends, this is Lilia, my Ninetails. She's a rare breed from a far off region, and she's very shy around anyone else besides me. It's okay, girl. They're all friends. They won't hurt you. Why don't you go play with Espeon and the others?"
"Niiiiiine....."
She clung to Micah, still hiding behind him, but poked her head out curiously.

Cassandra grows quiet at the mention of psychic types being a handful. The sight of the costume-wearing Fletchling quickly snaps her out of it, though. "Oh, it's so-o-o cute!" she blurts out, reaching out to scratch its head.
"But... why did you...?" Jude asks with confusion.
Vern pop out from belowdecks. "Well, that's enough working on the engine for one day, time to get started on dinner. Catch anything, Ju- Er, Kid? Did you... When did you have time to do that...?" Grace shrugs. "I dunno. Felt like it." Flareon continues to sit and stare at Lilia, though now his tail flicks back and forth excitedly. Espeon immediately darts behind Micah, repeatedly circling to examine the new arrivals from different angles. Leafeon slinks over to the others, laying down a few feet away and staring nervously. Jolteon continues to eat. Kon stretches out near the edge of the glade. Shade decides to join in the hug.
"Hehe... Birdy likes me now..." Corva giggles.

Carleen noticed Cass grow silent at the mention of handful Physcic types. Then saw as she quickly perked up at the sight of Fletcheon.
"Seems like Anna wanted to dress up as an Eevee," Carleen said. "Well that and because she thought by dressing up as an Eevee then I could be part of the gym.....," Carleens voice began to trail. "Sorry sorry for bringing it up," Carleen said embaressed.
"Well now what are we going to do about that?" Yuzu giggled to Grace. "You knowwww you and Ribbons are too cute together," Yuzu told Grace. "I could never come between such cuttie mons," Yuzu said. "I wonder though who's the cuter couple," Yuzu said to Grace. "You and Ribbons are cute maybe even adorable but me and Pika are just so Dawwwww together," Yuzu said to Grace.
"Well anyways glad everything worked out for everyone today," Yuzu said to Grace.

The soldiers watch their harasser take a few steps back toward the city, just close enough to be within earshot if she wanted to be heard, of course. The woman makes a show of angrily whipping out her phone, a charmingly outdated clamshell model that may as well have been on her person specifically for dramatic effect. She furiously dials a few numbers and looks back at the three men intently, making sure to pout and turn around as soon as one of them made eye-contact.
"Thankfully HQ says we don't have to block contact, eh? We'd never hear the end of it." One of them says.
Another one shrugs and grins a bit. "Well, I hear from a friend that they're monitoring activity closely. It only makes sense, why stop them from communicating when we could possibly catch someone being careless?"
"It's been years like this now. Don't you think anyone careless enough to use our lines has been caught already?"
"I dunno, I guess with that big display of making an example out of the Sevii Islands, our sway on the populace isn't quite what it was last year. Sometimes I wonder what was going through... well, nevermind that."
The soldier nervously glances over at the business lady, who just happened to be turning to look at them.
"Oh, it's no trouble at all!" She nearly shouts into her phone. "Thank you! No hurry, really!"
"...What a b--" The third soldier idly comments as the lady hangs up, only to be interrupted by a static-y voice over his radio.
"Unit 7! This is HQ. An off-grid signal is being picked up in your location! Do you read me? Over!"
The three look back at where the woman had been, yelling into the phone just seconds before.
"HQ! This is Unit 7! Are you still picking up the signal? Over."
"Negative. Please report. Over."
"The suspect has vanished! Requesting permission to pursue. Over."
"Pursue! Shoot first, ask questions later! What are they teaching recruits these days! It's the Nova way! ...Over."
"Uh... p-pursuing with extreme prejudice, sir! Over and out!"
"Damn grunts these days. They can't kill a single damn terrorist without waiting for orders! Barely even good for having a laugh at. Back in my day..."
Inside the city walls, the soldier who had been on the radio walks with his rifle ahead of him, mumbling.
"Damn HQ... with their stupid radios... and their stupid jargon... it's like they think they're... Lieutenant Surge, or somethi--"
"Excu~u~use me!" An all too familiar voice calls out. "This damn city is a mess! How can you declare a state of emergency when you can't even keep your streets in check! I'd like to report a robbe--"
The soldier spins around and points his gun at the woman, causing her to squeak in shock and throw her hands in the air.
"You! You're under arrest!" The soldier yells. "N-no funny business, or I'll shoot!"
The soldier prods the business lady into the door to Mauville City's detention center with his gun. She follows along until they reach a cell, where the soldier pushes her in and locks her up with an unceremonious thunk.
"I'll have you know that I'm a top executive in the Urban Planning and Commerce Bureau!" The woman growls, clenching the bars to her cell and grinding her teeth. "You can't do this to me! I've got a flight to catch tomorrow morning to Goldenrod City so that I can meet with the Board of Directors! I demand to know your Superior Officer's name so I can inform them that you are DIRECTLY IMPEDING--"
"Yeah, yeah. You can say it a third time to my officer when he shows up." The soldier says dismissively. "Shoulda' just did what dispatch told me to and shot her on sight. Sheesh..."
The door to the detention center swings open as a Nova officer enters the building, staring coldly toward the cell.
"This is the suspect...?" He asks.
"Yes, sir!" The grunt responds. "She was caught making an unauthorised call to a probable rebel agent."
"I did no such thing!" The business lady retorts.
"Hush." The officer says, looking over the prisoner. A glint of recognition seems to spark in his eye. "...Things will go much more smoothly if you speak only when prompted to. Your words can and will be used against you."
"...Y-yes, sir." She replies after a moment.
The officer turns to the grunt. "Tell me more about your first meeting with the suspect."
"Yes, sir. Myself and the drivers for squads 4 and 7 were loit--er, keeping watch by the effected zone of the recent earthquake attack when this woman approached us wearing some kind of Ninetails fur coa--"
"I approached him on the city streets to report it stolen!" The woman yells, only to get a severe look from the officer which moved her to silence.
"Continue." The officer says to the grunt.
"She began harassing us about the state of emergency and using very rude, hurtful language." The soldier frowns indignantly. "She kept babbling about how she was missing a flight and something about progress... we tried to calm her down, but she made threats to our careers and said she was making a call to our superiors..."
"And did she approach you on the city street as well?" The officer asks.
"That's right. After we caught her on an off-grid signal and gave chase, she had the gall to--"
"I've heard enough of that." The officer interrupts. "You know this woman is a top executive in the Urban Planning and Commerce Bureau, correct?"
"I fail to see how that's..." The soldier begins to protest.
"Describe the woman as you first met her in detail." The officer states. "Down to the most minute features."
"W-well... it's the woman in front of us... as she is, besides the coat..."
"Entertain me."
"Let's see... she had long wavy blonde hair, parting to the right... with pale skin and soft features... green eyes--"
"I'll stop you right there." The officer folds his arms. "Are you sure about that?"
"That she had green eyes...?" The soldier glances at the woman in her cell to double check. "I coulda' sworn... no... I guess they're blue..."
The officer takes out his radio. "This is the CO for Unit 7, reporting in. I'm calling to resume the hunt for a suspect caught communicating with terrorists. I believe the suspect is using a ditto and may take on any identity. If you see any suspecious persons, StarBurst or shoot on sight. Over."

Realgam Tower Medical Wing
Yancy rubbed her eyes as she disposed of the plastic cup of coffee she gulped down. She shook her head as she walked down the hall, clipboard on hand, while on route to check on a patient recovering from Venomoth poison dust.
Haha... I keep telling Joshua to sleep better, when I'm not really much better lately. But still, I... Was that glass breaking?
Yancy ran over to an open room where she believed she heard the sound coming from. She darted inside and saw a room for two; the bed closest to the door was unoccupied, while the furthest bed was covered by a closed curtain. Hearing a faint gasping for air, Yancy pulled the curtain open, and saw a middle-aged man on the bed taking hard, ragged breaths. with an arm hanging limp at the side of the bed. An overturned stand laid at that side, alongside shards of glass littering the floor, a puddle of water trickling outward, and a rose, laid out in the middle of it all.
Yancy took a whole second to process what was happening. She dropped her clipboard, fumbled with two of her Pokeballs, and sent out the first pair she was able to grab as she raced to the patient's side.
He's going into cardiac arrest! There's supposed to be an alarm if something is going wrong with a patient's health like this! He's supposed to be monitored if he was at risk of this!
Yancy released the Pokemon as she pulled the man's arm back to his side, positioned the man flat on his back, and tried to give him reassuring words. Of the Pokemon, Togekiss audibly gasped as she saw the man. Ursaring, meanwhile, roared out in pain as he accidentally landed a foot on a broken piece of glass.
Togekiss! Yancy yelled telepathically. Go find help! Ursaring! There should be a defibrillator over there!
Togekiss made a hasty nod as it flew out of the room and began crying out for attention. Ursaring took a moment to pull out the glass in his foot before going to retrieve the device Yancy pointed out, disregarding his own pain. Now that Yancy laid the man straight, she loudly called out for him. "Are you okay?!" No response. She reached out and placed her hands in the center of the man's chest, applying desperate chest compressions. After a while, she reached up and tilted the man's head back. She observed the man's breathing for a few moments.
It didn't seem like he was.
Ursaring brought a portable defibrillator to Yancy's side. She had to rack her brain in order to remember how to activate the device.
Why isn't anyone here yet?!
Ursaring tore the patient's gown apart to lay their torso bare as Yancy struggled to decide on the extent of electric charge she should use and distant footsteps gradually came closer.
-----
Yancy sat on the floor right outside of the room, her knees brought together toward herself as she laid her head on her arms. The last doctor that was still inside finally left the room. She noticed Yancy and knelt down to put a hand on her shoulder.
"I know you did all you could," she said. "Don't blame yourself for it."
Yancy could only give a weak "mmph" as she looked up. The doctor offered a hand, which Yancy accepted.
"That's just life, I'm afraid," the doctor said. "We just can't save them all. Although, whoever failed to replace the batteries of the emergency alarm and call buttons is going to be left at Mewtwo's mercy when I find out who's responsible."
Yancy made a gloomy nod. "Y-Yeah... but..."
Another pat on the shoulder. "You know, I've been seeing you around a tad too much, lately. Ever think of asking for days off? Or at least not take so many hours here? Stress can deteriorate health just as much as poisons can, if you let it."
But if I'm not here when I can be... That would just make the problems here worse...
"I'll think about it," Yancy lied. She took a deep breath and picked up her clipboard. "Thank you, but my shift here is going to be done soon, and I'm already a bit behind on a checkup right now. Excuse me."
Yancy walked back toward the route she was originally taking. The activated cosmic drive strapped to her hip gave a small whirl as she did.
...We shouldn't go on like this. This shouldn't even be happening in the first place...

Micah smiles and leans his head against Latias's side. She coos happily and turns to nuzzle his hair. "It's hard not for her to like someone," Micah explains to Corva. "She's empathic, so she can feel a person's heart. As long as you have at least some good in your heart, she'll be nice to you. Right, Scarlet?"
Latias coos again and turns to nuzzle Corva. Lilia's ears flatten and she slowly backs away from Espeon, but Micah kneels down and wraps his arms around her neck. "Shh, girl. It's okay. They're friends. You're safe here."
His Ninetales calms down almost immediately and licks his cheek. "Niiiiiine!"
Laughing, Micah lets her go and stands up, and Lilia immediately goes to sniff Espeon. Her large bushy tails start to whip back and forth excitedly.
Micah smiles as he watches the pair start to dance around each other, and his hand instinctively goes to rest on his other Pokeballs. His smile immediately fades and he stops himself, his expression turning sad and troubled.
"I originally came out here to spend time with my Salamence," Micah says quietly. "But with all your Pokemon here, that's probably not a good idea. I don't want to scare them."

Jude gives Carleen a dirty look, but stops himself from saying anything. He storms off into the ship without a word. Vern steps to the side to let him pass.
Cassandra puts a hand on Carleen's shoulder. "He... gets a bit... um... defensive. He doesn't like talking about the old gym."
Vern joins the pair. "Don't let it get to you, Kid. 's not your fault. I really shoulda warned ya..." Sync finishes investigating Lilia and runs over to Scarlet. Flareon places himself in front of Lilia, crouching down and wagging, trying to convince the Ninetails to wrestle. Leafeon ducks between Corva's legs and cautiously observes Scarlet alongside Sync.
"Eh?" Corva doesn't look up from cuddling Scarlet. "What's so scary about a li'l Salamance?"
