The game comes out on the 26th in the states, but I don't know when the DLC will be ready for pre-purchase. Hopefully the free DLC will come out soon here too.

There are only two kinds of DLC I dislike. Disk locked content and day 1 unlock/access codes. If I already paid full price for the game, I shouldn't be charged extra for something included in the full game.

So... You guys may not hear from me for a while. I just got the third book in the incredible Magician's series by Lev Grossman, and I just started watching Samurai Champloo.
That... Anime... Is awesome!

Something about the Prelude is just...so nostalgically erotic. FTFY.

You know... After reading a true master for the first time in a while, I'm once again realizing just how far I still have to go. Sure, I like to think I'm a decent writer. But I'm still nowhere near the likes of Grossman, or the other masters. I'm not even in the same league.
It's not about skill, or experience. My command over the English language is on par with just about anyone, and I've been writing for over a decade. I'm missing something fundamental, and it keeps my writing from evolving. I've known I was missing this quality for a long time. But I still can't find the answer.
It's why I still haven't published my book. I promised an old friend of mine long ago I wouldn't publish my debut novel, unless I was proud of my work. I'm only on page 30 of Grossman's new book, and already, it's quite clear how superior he is to me. In both writing and storytelling.
I just don't understand... What am I missing?

And actually I only started playing Final Fantasy two years ago so...not too nostalgic ^^"

I just realized that I can make a "Charlie Sheen hitting/killing someone with his cock" joke with this, but I won't.

I just realized that I can make a "Charlie Sheen hitting/killing someone with his cock" joke with this, but I won't. >Saying you won't do something >Doing what you say you won't do by saying you won't do it and being specific about it If you can do better though, please share.

I feel like I can answer that question, but I can't really word it in a way that conveys the point. Not without typing a dissertation's worth of waxing fluff, anyway... Just think of all of your favourite works of art, literary or no, research the artist and how they lived if you don't already know and try to figure out how their works reflect their place in the world. Then figure out where your place is, and if you hit the nail on the head then you've probably got something that will connect with people the way your favourite artworks connect with you. At least, that's the most consolidated way I can put it without being vague and overly cryptic.

I just don't understand... What am I missing? An editor. Or perhaps it's someone to tell you that what you have is already great.

I have a tremendous secret to impart onto you all. Whales are actually Spellcasters. They are literally the Wizards of the Sea. And in the deep, abyssal trenches of the Ocean, something terrible lurks. Something pure evil. Something that wants to rise. But the Whales, in all their vast wisdom and incredible power, are keeping this great evil locked away, at the very bottom of the sea, where fire and water collide. You see, it is the Whales that are truly the saviors of this planet. It is the Whales who are the most intelligent. Not us. Not the dolphins. Not even the mice. But the Whales. They are the protectors of this planet. And yet, in all our ignorance and arrogance, we hunt them. Before long, there won't be enough Whales left to maintain the Spell, and the great evil will finally rise from the depths of the Ocean. And then the world will end. Well? Is your mind blown?
