X, you heard of Fort Minor? Some nice s*** right there, pretty chill.
I love me some sparring. I remember high school, everybody was baffled when I was like "Hey man, wanna go beat the s*** out of each other for fun?" Except for one motherf***er, who I'll call Kai. Dude was insane, did a lot of extreme stuff like mountain climbing. Good fighter too, hardly felt pain.

I fought him all the time, man. Once I moved, I was sad cause I couldn't fight him anymore. He could've taken me most of the time, but I was still one of the people he respected most in a fight. He knew how to hold back, but neither of us did, except for one time he nearly slammed my head onto asphalt. We just had so much f***ing fun. Loved it. Wish I could find someone like that nowadays.
This is the biggest nostalgia trip I've had in a while. Weird.

The only time I've ever sparred is when I taught Combatives. I really dislike fighting, so I only fight when I have to.
Personally, I don't believe in holding back, unless I'm teaching, of course. But if it's a real fight, then either we're at war, or you're stupid enough to ignore my warnings. And if you're stupid enough to fight someone who's a registered Lethal Weapon, then you deserve to die. Just my opinion.

And by "I liked fighting with", I meant "I liked beating within an inch of their life because it amused me".
I felt sad when he had to move to a mental facility.

I am a pacifist really dont like fighting. Besides kinda of had multiply kidney surgeries growing up so I couldn't really fight.
Besides believe or not I am actually a really quite person who is pretty shy. It takes me a while to open up like this b/c I am a very private person and kinda of keep a lot of things to myself unless I feel like I am around a group of friends then its easier for me to relax.
Also Doug Fort Minor sounds familiar but never been there. I have been to Fort Dixs multiple times (took JROTC in high school and it was one of my favorite classes to take. Even went to a summer camp in Fort Dix for the week it was a lot of fun).

The ones that can are either Angel of Death Special Forces types, or zen martial artist dudes. And there's no reason for me to spar. I get enough practice to keep my skills sharp, and that's all I need. So there's no point to me sparring with anyone. |

"Remember the Name" should sound familiar if only for the chorus, maybe "Where'd You Go." Personal favorite of their's is "Cigarette."
The main guy (Mike Shinoda) might sound familiar off the bat since he's the MC from Linkin Park.

I never really got into fights, though. Like, I never "had beef" ya' know? I boxed with a few guys when people in school were into it, but I only more recently got into learning some wrestling and sword fighting techniques. It's not about hurting people, and the idea is to not get hurt (although s*** happens) it's about... Getting into the head of people who did that for a living.
Doug, though, he's just a crazy bastard who likes to bare knuckle it with the other crazy dudes. I love it. But I always avoided that, even though I think it's fun with a few precautions and/or large hunks of sharpened steel.

I never had beef either. Even when other people did, I was just like "lol u mad." I just like doing it for fun, period. If the other guy isn't enjoying it, then it's not as fun.
Depending on how far he takes it, you're making a good call. Also, swordfighting? Fencing, kendo, or something else? I'm more of a fan of kendo myself.

I did fencing a while back, recently learned about HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts.) There's a place in the nearest city I like going to, but I plan to really dive into it as an activity once I go back out West, it's fairly popular in Calgary and Vancouver.
I'm not too sure if I like it because I'm a nerd or just 'cause it feels so right.
