It was quite a simple matter to locate the source, at least for one as skilled as he, but the dark lord was surprised by what he found. Not far to the north of his ship, possibly a mile or so, he finds a young Chalactan kneeling on the grass, barely more than a boy. Interesting... The boy had the lovely odor of blood and sorrow about him, which he found truly delightful.
The dark lord says nothing, merely plopping down on the grass where he was and crossing his legs, silently studying this new curiosity.

"Who are you?" Dur spoke in a deep tone as he sat still with his back turned to the darkness.

Shelia and Remis parted ways, and the Youth was now packing for his soon to be leave. His mind brushed towards his mother. She would wish I know this. For the first time, Remis was glad the code had changed. It meant he could visit his parents, or as it stood now, parent.
His father had been a great Jedi until he died. At least from what the Jedi that survived said. Remus refused to believe it and eventually moved on with his life. His mother however, had not. Stepping out of the temple, Remis payed for a taxi and soon was zipping through the air to coruscanti Apartments.
The dark lord chuckles. "I am known by many names," he answers, grinning. "Sith Lord, Darth Sephiroth, the Kingslayer, Angel of Death... But because you have so much untapped potential-potential that I'd hate to see go to waste- I'll offer you a once in a lifetime possibility. An offer I've never given to anyone else. You may call me another name, if you so desire... You may call me master."

"I have little desire for power." Dur answered as he slowly stood up and turned towards the dead Graul in which his lance was still lodged before climbing the beast's back and pulling his weapon out. "My family is dead. I have no where to go. If the universe has brought you here now, then I must join you."
He walked up to the Sith Lord before sitting down several feet in front of him, basking in the waves of power that he radiated as Dur set his lance down in his own lap.
"I am here to learn, master."

Remus landed the air taxi and made his way to apartment 412B. He rapped on the door, and just to his luck his mother wasn't there. "She must be out commanding the Omega force." He sighed
The Omega force was a group of republic soldiers that carried out the most dangerous missions and sometimes even spying. He turned around, and boarded the air taxi once more. His destination was the Coruscant shuttle that was booked for flight tomorrow. Arriving in four minutes he got out and analyzed the shuttle. It was a deep red and blue and large enough to carry a few thousand passengers. This wasn't a shuttle, but a star cruiser he realized.
Done inspecting, he returned to the Jedi temple and made his way to his room. He opened the door to see his Zabrak roommate moving things with the force, specifically his things. "Can you please put down my Lightsaber modules Zori?" He asked calmly.
The modules dropped onto his dresser and an embarrassed female Zabrak spoke, "sorry, it caught my interest. You really have a knack for technology as I've heard the masters say your force potential is off the charts." Zori gushed. Remus surprised an urge to groan. Sometimes having an ancestor that was famous sucked. "I'm just as average as you." He insisted, carefully packing his module on his bag.
"No you aren't. You're so modest." Zori approved, throwing a pillow at his head. He turned around slowly and threw the pillow back with the force. "I am not. Besides, I lived with my Grandmother who was a nerf herder. My mother was always busy with republic work to take care of me, so I guess you can call me a farmer." He admitted. Zori gaped, "You don't strike me as a nerf herder." Remus gave her a wry smile, "Molavar was as hot as Tatooine, if not more." He laughed, and slid under his covers.
The rest of the night was silent as the cool wind seeped through the window of the room. Remus turned and twisted as visions of buildings on fire and dead people lay on the streets of some unknown planet.
"Well, well, aren't you eager," Darth Sephiroth commends with an approving grin. "Tell me, did you kill that Graul on your own? Was it the first time you killed a living being?"

"No and no." Dur replied as he kept his head lowered. "Taking all the credit myself would be arrogant, and arrogance is blinding. I did not make my weapon, and I do not control the flow of life and nature. I am a shepherd by trade, so I have killed many predators that would prey on my flock, and I have hunted game for food during my scouting trips."

"Very interesting indeed," Darth Sephiroth replies thoughtfully. "The shepherd who would be king... You posses a gift most lack, a gift that could carry you far... With the proper training, that is. You see, while most of my brethren secretly brand me a quack, a madman, in truth I have obtained a knowledge and mastery of the Force most can scarcely dream of. I did not accomplish this through anger, or sorrow, or emotion at all. Nor do I study the Force for the sake of power, like my foolish counterparts. No, the Force, in essence, is Knowledge. Knowledge of the universe, of life and nature, and how they work. In order to truly understand the Force, you must first be able to comprehend it's duality. You have the ability to do this."
The dark lord suddenly bolts to his feet, showing a level of enthusiasm he hadn't in a very long time. "Now! I will teach you this knowledge, my young Apprentice, but it will be up to you how much you learn. Above all, you must keep an open mind. So, with that, say goodbye to this world. I am taking you to meet Darth Drackoth, current Emperor, and ruler of the Sith."

"I have spent years studying the laws of the natural universe as an Adept of Chalacta." Dur told the dark lord as he too stood up. "I am ready to learn more. Take me to Darth Drackoth."

After Shelia and Remus settled in on the battle cruiser they began locating their room. "Wow, they actually got us a first class." Shelia beamed. Remus agreed in silent awe and pulled out his Lightsaber module plans. "You're regarded as a prodigy you know? I was expecting someone arrogant, but I find a boy whose my age and humble. Your parents must have taught you a lot." Shelia remarked.
Remus looked up and nodded, "yes, my mother drilled respect and manners into me." He replied. A sudden weight on his bed made him realize Shelia had taken a seat next to him. "So, are you good with starfighters?" Shelia asked. Remus nodded and placed his plans down. "I'm pretty good with those and technology in general." He admitted.
A1 beeped, making them chuckle. "I was wondering if you can help me with my starfighter in the hangar?" Shelia sad. "Sure, what class is it?" Remus asked. "Regular Jedi starfighter." She she replied. "I'm sure I can work with that." Remus approved.
Shelia opened the door and turned around, "I'm looking forward to your technical skills." She answered and left. Remus at there for awhile trying to figure out the puzzle of Shelia. "She seems nice, though she can do without the wxcitemr during battle." He said to his droid. A1 beeped.
"What? No I don't like her!" Remis yelled. Another series of beeps that sounded smug. "I really should dismantle you one of these days."
Three beeps. "I'm serious, no need to apologize now." Remus smirked. A long series of 12 beeps and whirls. "Don't change the subject, A1. I better go meet her." Remus retorted.

"You have me mistaken." Dur bowed his head in repect. "I may have lived here nearly all of my life, but Chalacta is my homeworld. To answer the intent of your question: no, I have never left Dantooine, nor did I ever intend to, until now."

"I see," Darth Sephiroth says, smiling a very unsettling smile. "Such a funny thing, don't you agree? How one's 'homeworld' is determined by their race, not actually where their home is. You say you have lived on Dantooine for the majority of your life? Not Chalacta? So, wouldn't you agree, that might make Dantooine your Homeworld? After all, I'm speaking to you, not your race."

"I don't see any place as home." Dur spoke as he was slightly unnerved by his new master's smile. "A nomad shepherd has no ties. My home is where I am."

Remus jerked his head to the side as a spasm of oil attempted to hit him in the face. "Whoever gave you this didn't keep the parts up to date." He said, rolling from underneath the star fighter. "It belonged to my grandfather." Shelia explained, he eyes glinting dangerously.
"And?" Remus probed. "When he died we gave it to a friend, who promised he would fix it up." Shelia sighed. "I can do it for free." Remus offered. Shelia have him a quirked eyebrow, "You're pulling my leg." She laughed dryly. "I'm serious." Remus insisted. She gave him a hard look before deflating. "Alright, I'll believe you." She caved. Remus laughed and went back under the starfighter.
A1 gave a beep that sounded like a laugh. "He is serious isn't he?" She asked the droid. A confirmation beep, "Thanks for this." Shelia called. "No problem." Came the muffled voice of Remus. Shelia took a seat on the hangar floor and watched him for awhile.
"The soul of a wanderer," Sephiroth replies with a small, almost wistful smile. "You and I are alike in many ways. The life of a traveler... Yes, I do believe you'll fit right in with the Sith. But I did have a point to make, you know. I'm not merely rambling for my health. You need to be able to break free of preconceived notions and ideas. To truly understand the Force, you must empty your mind of everything you thought you knew. Only as a blank slate can I mold you, and only as a blank slate can you accept the true nature of the Force. Can you do this? Can you empty your mind of everything, all your memories, and beliefs? Can you let go of your past? Even your family?"

"A cup of water must be emptied to become a cup of wine." Dur replied as his eyes seemed to fade. "Pulling up roots and cutting ties is all I know. It will be a difficult process, but with time, it will be done."
His breathing began to slow as he kept his eyes open as they continued to grow distant.

Truly fascinating... This new secret weapon of mine will do just fine. "Don't worry," the dark lord says cheerfully, grinning slightly. "Time is one of the few things we have in abundance. Did you know that a truly powerful Sith can control the flow of time? Bend it to his will? Even turn back the hands, or completely halt time's progress? It's a truly useful ability to have. Though I'm afraid there aren't many Sith Lords that powerful left... A handful at most. It's a shame, really."
He leans back in his chair, yawning slightly. He stretches his arms and props his feet up on the dashboard. "You know, I'm having a bit of difficulty thinking of your first assignment," he tells his apprentice casually. "It's quite frustrating. You see, it has to be difficult for you, but I also don't want to kill you before I discover your true potential. It's maddening, really. But you should be proud. If I were you, I would see it as a testament to my worth. You see, there isn't much in this universe that is difficult for me anymore."

"Time..." Dur murmured before drifting off for a few seconds. "Apologies, what would you consider difficult but manageable or you? Something you know you could do, but have a hard time doing it?"
