"I hope you're having better luck finding new information than I am," Lorelei said as she put another book back on thhe shelf next to her and starting searching for something different. "There just aren't any rare and unique books here. I wager you could find five or six copies of every book here in the Arcanaeum alone."

"Nothing that I didn't already know." Avenicci sighed as he shelved the book and sat down. "Too bad going to the Arcaneum isn't an option. Hey, how old is Cor?"

Siegemund made his way to the Grey-Mane household and knocked gently on the door. his aunt appeared and offered him a gentle smile, a stark contrast to when he first came. "need something? you left without telling us anything." she scowled. the Youth scratched the back of his head sheepishly." sorry." he muttered, but screamed when she twisted his ear.
"My sister didn't raise an impolite boy i'm sure." Vornette continued. "i don't even remember my mother!" Siegemund yelped and managed to escape her grasp. for a woman that was aging she sure had the strength of two bears.
"now what do you need?" The nordic woman asked sweetly. rubbing his ear, the boy held out his list. Vornette looked it over with interest "Dragonsreach Library." she muttered. siegemund knew that Dragonsreach was Home to the Jarl of Whiterun.
"I promise to drop by more." Siegemund replied softly. Vornette looked at him and smirked. "of course dear." it was a subtle warning and something he intended to follow. his cousin shook her head as she left the house. Vornette sat down and began to read her book.
Siegemund made his way to Dragonsreach, a looming castle and entered. finding the library wouldn't be tough and he had to admit he was craving the Knowledge they had within.

"I have no idea. It's not like he really ages," Lorelei said as she walked to the back of the library.

"Hmm..." Avenicci stretched his legs as he slumped backwards in his chair. "That's not very helpful. He could have spent decades developing that curse, meaning that it could take centuries to unravel."

Siegemund entered the library, passing two figures that seemed recognizable he checked the shelves for books on forgine when his hand brushed against a book of magic. "Nords don't like magic." he muttered. why was this book here in the first place. "Destruction magic, a guide written by the college of winterhold." he read quietly.
Something intrigued him and he picked up the book flipping through a few pages. "Maybe i should get this. might help on the quest for the Dragonborn frost book. The youth brought it to the librarian, she scrunched her nose up.
"For a friend." he lied, meeting her eyes. she nodded grudgingly and handed it back to him. " Careful, magic is a sly thing, stay safe and stick to weapons." the Librarian warned.
He nodded pretending to listen to her and took the two books making his way out the room. He looked back at the figures with one leaned back. "Nah." he chuckled,it couldn't be the two he ran into outside Jorrvaskr. he then left not throwing a look back

"Sorry. But if I knew how to get rid of the curse, I would do it," Lorelei said.

"I'm sure you would." Avenicci continued slouching as he looked at the ceiling and sighed again. "We could always point him out to the public as a vampire and get the town on our side."

"I would get rid of the curse. Because if I did, you might actually be strong enough to kill Cor, and if you could do that, I would consider us even," Lorelei said as she started looking through another book. "And I've already explained why we can't just tell people about what he really is, he covers his tracks too well."

As soon as Varren's blade lodges in the Centurion's heart, it immediately thrums to life, and grabs the sword, attempting to break it in half. A lesser blade would have shattered immediately. The Centurion opens it's gaping maw, and Varren just manages to roll out of the way, narrowly dodging a massive wave of boiling hot steam. He quickly sends a Lightning Bolt at the machine, aiming at his own sword, still stuck in the Centurion's core. The daedric metal acts as a useful conduit, and the Centurion is blown backwards, crashing into the wall. Before it can recover, he switches spells on the fly, sending a Fireball straight for the Centurion's ugly mug. The construct manages to stand after the explosion, so Varren hits it again with another Fireball, and the damn thing charges right on through. The Centurion levels it's massive fist at Varren, and he ducks at the last minute, grabbing his sword and yanking it out, dislodging the core in the process. Varren quickly sidesteps, and the now lifeless machine charges right on by, falling over the edge and into the water below.
Behind him, Elena dispatches the other Centurion, and it too falls into the water. But the other Centurions are waking now, and within moments, there are five more Centurions charging at you and Elena, five on each rocky platform. An idea forms in Varren's mind, as he realizes the behemoths are all charging in a straight line. Elena apparently reaches the same conclusion, as she casts Fireball at the exact same time he does. The twin explosions shake the walls and ceiling, and both elves fire again. On it's own, the spell probably wouldn't have been enough to stop the rampaging behemoths, but neither elf aimed directly at the Centurions. They aimed at the wall beside them.
Within seconds the Centurions are crushed by falling rock, and the couple that aren't instantly destroyed in the rockslide are sent spiraling into thewater below.
"Well, that was fun," Elena says cheerfully as the two reunite on the ship.
Varren shrugs. "I've had better battles. But at least it's done."
"True," She replies, before her smile suddenly vanishes. "I've been thinking... Maybe we can just ward the ship? Put up some protective spells and call it a day? Maybe the monsters won't even bother the ship. Or maybe Lady Nocturnal would be willing to conceal the ship. You don't have to do this..."
"You know none of those ideas would work Elena," Varren replies gently. "I've told you before not to worry. I'll be fine. I'll meet you back at Riften in a couple of days, after I've gotten the job done."
She nods reluctantly, handing him a knapsack of supplies. "Fine. But I don't have to like it."

"Aren't there spells that only hurt the undead out there?" Avenicci replied as he regained his composure. "He is at the College of Winterhold, and any of them that observe it should be able to tell what's going on unless they have mediocre Restoration training."

"You know nothing about Restoration, and you know it's a horrible idea for me to confront Cor," Lorelei said as she placed the book back on the shelf and took out another.

"It's not that I don't know, it's just that it..." Avenicci paused to look at Lorelei before he realized who he was talking to. "I mean, I, uh, it just, you know, like, um, how do I put this? It fizzles in my face."

"You have three options. One, you learn about Restoration. Two, we figure out how to break the curse. Three, we find someone dumb enough, yet also capable enough, to help us," she stated simply, leaving no way for him to argue with her.

Siegemund spent the next few hours in his room, scribbling down notes on both Destruction magic and what he would need to make Nord armor. he eyed the door warily making sure no one came in. he felt bad for lying and sneaking around with a magic book, but a different era meant different things."no longer the 4th era with the Last Dragonborn." he muttered to himself vehemently. forcing himself to believe this was the right thing to and eventually it worked. for the past few weeks in Whiterun he had been gaining more and more memories each night. in fact, he was gaining 4 currently and discovering more of his previous life.
Hermaeus Mora had kept well on his promise making the Nord trust him more. "Spell Tome? hrm perhaps more sneaking is needed." he muttered to himself. the door to the room opened, revealing a Tired Nephle. she said nothing and slumped on the bed fast asleep. The Nord let out a breath of relief as he closed the door, checked on her, and went back to reading.
Night was setting in and the youth was still studying. his eyes drooped slightly, but he forced himself to stay awake. He didn't realize until light broke in that he had been up all night. Nephle stirred and slipped out of the bed, surprised she found him sprawled out on the floor snoring. "seriously." she sighed and reached down to pick up his books.
She let out a gasp when she found the winterhold one before looking at the sleeping boy. "I hope you can keep this hidden." she whispered. she lifted him up and placed him in the bed before grabbing her bow. she bit her lip before laying it back down. the companions wouldn't miss her for one day surely and Siegemund was muttering in his sleep.
The two had been avoiding each other for a few days. She sat on the bed and watched him sleep, then picked up the Armor book. She glanced to the left seeing the rest of his books on Nordic history with slips of paper in them.
"You're going to kill yourself at this rate." she told his sleeping form exasperatedly.

"I bet, um, we could get a Companion to help us, maybe?" Avenicci responded as he stood up and walked over to Lorelei.

Nephle picked up a few of the books. she flipped through a few pages with mild interest. "Ysgramor." she remarked, reading a passage from the book. she glanced over at siegemund whose fists Clenched and unclenched. She put the book down and walked back to the bed side. she wasn't sure if he was having a nightmare or not. she picked up a piece of Parchment on the desk, a Design of armor actually. she looked between the paper and the person in the bed. it was Steel armor with Armbands and legbands here and there. the helmet had two curved horns that were pulled back and some armor, whcih formed pants. She wasn't sure what to make of it except that it was nord armor.
she placed the parchment down, and begun to occupy herself with making a better bow.

"A vampire and a werewolf fighting each other? That's not a good idea," Lorelei said as she sat down to read the book she had currently, "Oh wait, you didn't know about the Companions' true nature, did you?"

"I've heard stories." Avenicci spoke as he tried to read the cover of the book that Lorelei was reading but her hand covered the title. "What're you reading?"

4E, 991, Seven years before Battle of Solsteihm, Second Seed 17, Morndas
The dreams were not like the previous...
Siegemund watched from outside a castle as a younger him rushed past towards a palace in the distance. He vaguely recongnized it as the Imperial city.
"Im home!" Younger siegemund shouted happily. his room was empty much to his surprise. Herman appeared behind the boy, and touched him. Siegemund screamed as he turned around to glare at his father who chuckled. "12 birthday today is it?" he said, guiding the boy towards a room. Siegemund had always wondered why the rest of his extended family besides his parents never showed up. he had gotten used to it now.
"And a secret to be revealed." Herman said somberly. younger siegemund watched as his parents looked at him with intensity. " i can handle it." he proclaimed, puffing out his chest. his parents did not share his enthusiasm as they shared looks.
"Siegemund, you are our child as you know." Herman started slowly. Dream Siegemund could feel his stomach begin to drop as the man spoke his next words. " me and your mother...never married." Dream Herman finsihed, with an ashamed look on his face.
Younger Siegmeund looked at them before laughing, " Sure father, thanks for pulling my leg." he chortled.
he stopped laughing when Marthdia looked away. " Mother?" no response.
the boy looked between both parents before the truth sunk in. he looked down and clenched his fists." im a B***tard? " he asked, not believing it. No response.
the boy shrugged his fathers hand off as he ran out of the Palace. anger was all he could feel at the moment.
The dream seemed to Fade. and Dream Siegmeund looked on with horror, feeling the same emotion bubble within him. he let out a primal scream as the dream shattered.
