B Tell her about the Gerbil minus the accidental nature and the confession play up the malice and intent a lot Suuuure "Well, there was one annoying little... thing. He was about two years old." "Surely he didn't bully you. Not a two-year old." "No... but he was looked after by someone that did. Anyway, I picked him up, and he bit me." "Was that all it took to off him?" "I just lost control, next thing I knew, I'd drowned him in the river." Legitimate guilt is creeping in now. "And nobody ever found out?" "I covered my tracks well." "I see. How did you feel, then, drowning him?" "It was just like drowning a rat," you say, fairly honestly. She studies your face for a moment, then bursts out laughing. "You stone cold killer, you."
She proceeded to regale you with a few of her exploits. You are quite sick to the stomach, but you asked all the right questions, and giggled at all the right moments. You half expect your alignment to drop just being in her presence. You'd discussed the plan you came up with, and she was drawing out a map of Porrani's room. She's really quite talented; she'd make a fine cartographer, or even an artist. You don't think you've ever seen her smile like this before; Quori always sat by herself unsmiling, ever since Year 1. You briefly entertain the thought of changing her to be a good person. But wouldn't that just be killing her anyway? She's so enraptured in the drawing, when you knocked over your stool she didn't even flinch. Your knife feels heavy in your pocket. The back of her neck is exposed. The blood of innocents lies on her hands. You really should have waited to have dinner. A: Make a wish B: Slip away C: Try and back out D: Go through with the plan E: Kill her now

All for being a martyr instead of a murderer follow me! A Wish that Quori had never been a murderer Ok. You grit your teeth. Quori could have been so much better. She still can be. "I wish that Quori had never been a murderer." you whisper, after removing the stone from your pocket and clutching it tightly. ERROR: IT IS NOT DONE.
SYNTAX: ADEQUATE MODIFIERS: RETRO-TEMPORAL + CHOICE-INVALIDATION + ALIGNMENT ALTERATION LOGIC: ADEQUATE FOCUS: GOOD COST: HIGH (>3523.443) MANA: INSUFFICIENTTHAT ONE NEEDS TO BE IN A PLACE OF EQUAL OR GREATER MANA ABUNDANCE VALUE TO A LEYREALM MAJORUS TO PERFORM THIS ACTION. THIS ONE RECOMMENDS THE FOLLOWING WISH: 'THIS ONE WISHES THAT THE ALIGNMENT OF [ Quori Nulyorn] WOULD CHANGE TO [Decent, Neutral] WITH ANY BEYOND MOMENTARY ACTIONS COMMITTED THAT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO PATHS OF [< -30 Morality] OR [< -30 Lawfulness] BE ERASED FROM THAT ONE'S MEMORY. WARNING: THAT ONE'S REJECTION OF EITHER CONDITION WILL RESULT IN REVERSAL OF SAID CONDITION.'You jump at this sudden onslaught of information. Thankfully, it seems that the voice is mental, and that Quori is unaware of it.
Apparently, major timeline rewriting is beyond you. For the moment, at least.
The wish he's suggested is just... well...
The cost is still probably pretty high, and you'd just be changing who she is, at the root.
What do you do?
A: Make the suggested wish (slightly modified, however) B: Make a different wish C: Get away while you still can D: Dissuade her E: Try and see if this is what she wants, without alerting her attention F: Go through with the plan G: Just kill her already

E. Ask if she really enjoys it, or if sometimes she wishes she didn't get those urges. We've been fighting our own for so long, after all. Will we really feel better if we just give in and indulge ourself?

E. Ask if she really enjoys it, or if sometimes she wishes she didn't get those urges. We've been fighting our own for so long, after all. Will we really feel better if we just give in and indulge ourself? "Do you really enjoy it, or do you wish you didn't get those urges?" She looks up at you, as if you've grown another head. Covered in spikes. "I've just... been repressing it for so long, does it really feel better if I just give in?" "Deep satisfaction, a fleeting sense of victory, then ennui. In the meantime, you won't have to deal with a certain brand of homework, now will you? Don't make a habit of killing people you know, by the way, or you'll be traced. Go for a demographic. This is a one off deal, though, and we're making it look like an accident." She grins slyly. "If you're thinking of backing out on me now, girl, I have my ways of getting revenge." Turning back to the drawing, she starts dictating where you'll need to be standing, and the angle you'll need to be at. After a few minutes, you can see her stop taking the world in as she explains. A: Try making the wish B: Make a different wish C: Run. Don't look back. D: Talk her out of it, or try to. E: Inquire about the ways she can find out, risking arousing her suspicion. F: Go through with the plan G: Finish it. Put the girl out of her own, and the world's, misery.

You slid your dagger out of its holster, hold it to your side, and slowly approach Quori. You're right up close, and she doesn't turn. You quickly move your knife in front of her throat, and before she has time to do more than shout 'YOU—!' you pull the knife close, and blood spurts forward. There's blood on your arm. Her front is covered in blood. Her mouth flapped twice, and now she's still. You fling your legs out, and she's – the body is – thrown forward and smashes against the wall. You reel backwards. What did I just do...? What have I done? You're cold. Emotionally, and physically. You wipe the blood off your arm onto her frock. Onto... its frock. And then, you break down. You turn away, there's no way you can look, and bury your face in your hands, sobbing. You recover about five minutes later. Not completely, of course. But your rational mind is able to get your attention at that point.
You just killed someone, congratulations. As it is, your worldview and alignment are unable to take the strain of what you've just done. Something has to give. You have known this girl's crimes, and taken justice into your own hands. A: I did what was right, not what the law says B: I merely followed a different set of laws C: She was killing people not far out of my sphere of influence, I had to stop her D: I followed the spirit of the law, not my own heart. Unfortunately, there was no higher authority to judge than myself E: This was the least risky option, safety-wise F: I'm just racking up good deeds to tell people about later G: I'm just eliminating the competition H: No higher reason, I wanted to kill

If she's been killing without getting caught to the point she can make plans for other people? It's just pragmatism. A would be closest.

You did what you did because it is right. Yes, you killed Quori. But she was an unrepentant child murderer, and would likely kill again. Something stirs within you. You look down at the knife you're still holding. In the darkness, it glints as though it were in broad daylight. The blood coating it blackens and flakes off. Your weapon has changed. Would you like to name it? A: No B: 'Vilebane' C: 'Avenger' D: 'Pyrahlmir' E: 'Blade of Fade' F: 'Karmament' G: 'Spear' H: Other (please specify)

Y'know what? I'm flipping for it. Heads: D
"Pyrahlmir," you whisper. The knife gleams, and seems to take in the flecks of rust. They cease to be decay, somehow, and the knife gains a marbled pattern. You got Pyrahlmir! You have unlocked a new title.
New Title! The Lightbound Slayer
Seeing the law was insufficient, you have taken it upon yourself to mete justice upon the unrighteous whom you alone have seen. You will do what is right, even if the entire world is against you. This title is associated with a spectral weapon, named 'Pyrahlmir.' The blade will burn the blood of the evil.
Blade of Ice Frost, Epiphanic Level 1 You have the ability to remain calm when doing things of a distasteful nature. At higher levels, you will be able to ignore emotion and discomfort, staring unflinchingly at your own demise.
Currently Equipped Title The Stone-Seeker
Your fate is intertwined with threads of rock. Your mind reaches out to them, for you feel them calling. Just as they seek you, so will you seek them.
Ande-Sight Earth, Learned Level 1 You have the ability to identify minerals you've learned about, and remember key details that relate to geology. At higher levels, you will be able to deduce the components and history of individual stones, and detect impurities in the earth.
Equip new title? A: Yes B: No
