The MEAP Experiment!

Remember, you cannot physically interact with your MEAP once it is outside your house, although you will be able to perceive the environment around it.

To return to your house, simply use the portal you exited from, or any other portal scattered around the world. They all lead to your house, when you use them, and only your MEAP can use them. Your MEAP can also bring things back to the house through the portals.

Crow:

Stromboli is patted, and it considers this good. You coax it towards the wood portal, but it seems to like your leg more. But the portal is shiny, and it eventually decides to go through based on shiny interest.

As Stromboli plops through the portal, it seems to startle a nearby rabbit, which darts south into the trees. Stromboli freezes and turns its full attention towards where the bunny went, but doesn't budge.

Your MEAP is currently in a transitional bit of woodland, where the trees have started to thin out. To the north (according to your compass), the forest thins out into plains. To the south, the forest becomes denser. This boundary extends to the east and west.

Digi:

You rummage around your fridge for something to eat. You eventually pull out a bowl of yogurt. You present it to Prismarine, who at first chews on the bowl for a bit, before realizing the food is inside. It quickly sticks its face in the bowl.

Golurk:

Giorno pulls its paw away. It decides to sniff your finger. Then gives it a lick.

Content with the taste, Giorno loses interest and decides to try walking away from you. It stumbles for a bit, but eventually gets the hang of it. It seems to be following its nose towards the portals.

GX:

You look around for a toy, and eventually find a beanbag. That would make a better pillow, so you keep looking and find a spinning top.

Zen notices when you bring the objects and pops its head out. They don't quite fit inside its shell though, but it sees the beanbag and deicdes it's worth reaching for. It ends up lying on top of the beanbag, and using it to scoot along the floor. It doesn't take an interest to the top at all.

Piomega:

You search the house for electronics, metal, crystals, and hard stone. You take your microwave and bring it towards the fireplace, along with a bunch of silverware. The fridge and oven are immobile. You can't find any crystal, and the only stone you can find is the mantle around your fire place. You light the fireplace and manage to make-shift a nest out the assembled materials nearby.

You then attempt to prompt Omega towards the nest, but it seems put off by the heat, and pointy metal things. It takes a bit of trying. Eventually Omega approaches the nest cautiously, and begins licking the microwave with great apprehension.

Progress in this experiment is up for you to decide. The experiment takes a neutral stance on the subject of violence between the MEAPs of participants.

You shower Linda with praise and ask who's the pretty girl. It says "Meap!"

You attempt to teach Linda Hustle, Loyalty, Respect, and Meap. It decides to lick itself. You have no idea if it knows what you're talking about.

So... What can I do other than hope he goes deeper and/or brings home a stick?

You are still visible to your MEAP and can offer it suggestions on what it can do. You just can't pick it up or influence the environment on your own. Basically, you are your MEAP's Navi.

The boards and everyone's in them are all in the same world. You can interact with everyone if you find them.

Ghost-float south and attempt to lure Stromboli into the deeper woods.
