"The slots." You say, wondering if you should put your helmet back on. "Do the pills fit in?"
"Also, where were these pills?" Number 1 asks.
"Th-they fit." Number 9 stutters. "They were on the toilet—hey! That tap lighted up when I put the pill in!"

Turn on the one that lit up. That should be the next step.

"Try turning on the tap!" You yell.
"I did! ...Nothing's happening."

Did you put all the pills in. Try inspecting the area and seeing if the light has made it so you can see anything new.

"Try putting all the pills in!" You yell. You're getting edgy. It's got to have been at least three or four minutes. "See if it's shining light somewhere specific!"
"Oh! The tap turned off by itself! I just flicked it down before, and it's gone back on its own!" 9 shouts through the door, sounding on the verge of panic, but trying to remain calm and upbeat. "Okay, I'll put the pills in...Done! Okay... Tap 1 says '+5 pH', 2 says +3 pH, 3 says -6 pH, 4 says -2.5 pH, 5 says '+5°C', 6 says '+3°C', 7 says '-6°C', 8 says '-2.5°C', 9 says '+5 GPG', 10 says '+3GPG', 11 says '-6GPG', and 12 says '-2.5GPG'."
"How did you know which number's from which?" 4 muses. "There were lighted numbers scattered everywhere in mine."
"I just covered them with my hand, to see which one disappeared." 9 says, incredibly fast. "Can we please focus? We don't have long..."
"So, these... 'thermometers'. I'll bet they have three numbers each, don't they?" 1 prompts.
"Yeah, it's got Celsius, pH, and Grains Per Gallon."
"What do they read, currently?"
"For the bath, 17°C, pH 3, and 7GPG. For the toilet, 14.5°C, pH 7, and 6.25GPG... Hey! The numbers on the ceiling are also words! They say: 'Make them the same.' "
"Hmm... it appears that the bath drains into some kind of tank, which has measuring instruments attached. There are a bunch of regulators there too... My guess is that we have to make the bath's stats equal the toilet's, by altering the bath's." 1 states, introspectively.
How are you going to do this?

1, 3, 8, 1 again with the same pill type... Then try 11 and hope the two values passing each other counts. Otherwise try putting a different pill in slot 11 and seeing if that changes the reading, because GPG's impossible right now.

"Okay then..." You say, pensively. Your surroundings seem to slow down and then stop. Somehow, you mentally produce the numbers that were just said, and colour-code them.
01:+5.0 02:+3.0 03:-6.0 04:-2.5
05:+5.0 06:+3.0 07:-6.0 08:-2.5
09:+5.0 10:+3.0 11:-6.0 12:-2.5
You then think back to the numbers you need to change.
3 17 7 to to to 7 14.5 6.25
If he turn taps 1, 3, and 1 again, then 3 becomes 7, when tap 8 is turned, 17 becomes 14.5, and... how do I make 7 become 6.25?
Pondering over this last problem, you are struck with the realisation.
It's impossible. There's no way I can get the .25.
Time starts flowing normally again.
"9! Pull taps, 1, 3, 1, and 8!" You yell.
"Okay! ...Now what?"
"Uh..." You try and come up with a way to circumvent the obvious problem. "Do you guys think it'll work if it crosses the boundary for being 6.25 GPG?"
"I don't know..." 4 states. "How did you even do that so fast?"
"I don't know." That's quite a bizarre question, not one you want to think about now. "Look, we don't have much time left. 9, just pull lever 11."
"Isn't 12 less of a difference?"
"Whatever. Just pull the watermelon lever!"
"It didn't work! What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?"
"Try changing the pills around!"
"They're the same numbers, just in a different order!"
"Th-then what do we do?"
"Five minutes remaining."

Everyone, retreat. Nine, current readings.

There might be water that can be added to one of them in the room. Any bowls or anything you can dump into something to add the .25? We're kind of running out of options.

"Everyone. Go."
"What? Sev, we can't just—"
"We'll catch up. Give me the moose mask.
"All yours, chief. Try not to die." 1 says, turning down the passageway. You become aware of numerous items in the bathroom as you put the moose mask on.
"Just go, 4. 9, what are the readings now?"
4 doesn't move an inch. You decide not to argue. There's not enough time.
"U-u-uh," 9 takes a deep breath before answering. "It's... pH 7, 14.5°C, 4.5GPG, for the bath, pH 7, 14.5°C, 3.75GPG for the toilet."
"Could you try... breaking a tablet in half, or something?"
"What are these things made of? I can't make a mark on them."
"Worth a shot. If only we could find another tablet..."
"In mine, there were fifteen things, not twelve. What if there's another three tablets?"
"But how do we find them?"
"Are the tablets visible through the mask?"
"Faintly... but I can't see them well."
"Hmm... 7, give me the mask."

Tell him our best guess to where it is. Then give 4 the mask.

Er... Wait. Are those new readings right or is 9 just too out of it to even read? 'cause right now we just need to use one of them there -2.5 pills to get 'er done...

6 grabs the mask out of your hands, and fumbles at her helmet.
You are greeted by a woman aged somewhere between 19 and about 25. She has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a frantic look on her face that is probably mirrored on your own.
She yells out, "Why didn't you tell us there was a sink? There's a cabinet underneath it!"
You hear hurried footsteps, presumably over to the sink. "The only thing here is... three medicine tubes! And they've got numbers on!"
"Do the caps fit in the holes?" You ask, feverishly. "That could be it!"
"YES!" 9 calls out, triumphantly. "And when I put one of them in, it showed +0.75GPS!"
"Hurry!" 4 cries out. "We should have left a minute ago!"
You hear whirring, and something ceramic being lifted off something else ceramic, a turning, lock, and the grating sound of an opening door.
A cyan-clad child of about 14 stands behind it.
Four minutes remaining.

Well, now seems like the time to check out what's going on in the bathroom, y'know, take our time, maybe grab a drink... Eh, just head back for now. Double-time, but no need to panic-run and trip or anything. There was a reason we took a nice, measured pace on the way out. Plus the fact we arrived before the 10 minute mark means we've got plenty of time.

"Now. Walk quickly, don't run." You say, starting off back down the corridor. "We arrived before the ten minute mark, we can get back within four minutes."
You traverse the twisty hallway. The three minute warning calls out, then the two. The corridor seems completely different to before. It's at this point that 4 says "Listen, I think we should speed up a little. We're not going to get tired out before we get there at this point..."
