Going up to the pool table, you realise something strange about it. Namely, the numbers and colours of the balls. Each ball must represent a person here, you deduce. The balls are fixed rigidly in place, and you are unable to move them.

They're not heads. They're billiard balls. Arranged like this:

Oh right, you meant the mounted animal heads!
You go over to the animal heads. In the mouth of a mounted moose is a diagram. It shows a person in a jumpsuit pushing the side of their helmet with their ring finger.
While pulling the diagram out, you knock part of the face off of the moose. Underneath is what looks like a human head. You recoil in horror.

You run over to the goldfish tank, and try to lift the goldfish bowl. Unfortunately it seems to be fixed to the table. And the coldness in your fingers when you touch it suggests the bowl is also made of ice.
You cup your hands, get a load of water, and dump it squarely on the blue ball.
All of it starts glowing, except the number on it, as do the balls around it.
That's not weird at all.

Oh, right, Pi. A lot of CYOA writers make a Discussion thread (under Discussion) to go along with their CYOAs. For people to talk about stuff (not that it often gets used) and as a way of helping keep track of stuff instead of doing regular updates. Like putting a status or summary thing on the first post. You can check out Mystic's Legend of Heroes Discussion or my Age of Destruction Discussion for an example. It's more work for you (though it's awesome for someone as scatterbrained as I am), but I thought I should tell you you have that option.

Ugh. I worked hard on the image. And I might need to post more for it to make sense.

There is only one track to choose from. You turn on the jukebox, and it starts singing distorted lyrics.
"Thirteen and three and six and one and ten and zero and five and nine and thirteen and three and..."
You're not quite sure what to make of it.
You go up to the mirror, and try to examine it more closely. The nail it is hanging on has a weird marking on it, so you feel it with your finger. But when you touch the nail, the string snaps, and the mirror falls to the floor, and you hear a smash.
You hurriedly grab the mirror off the floor. You turn it face-upward again to see the extent of the damage. It is slightly cracked, and there are a few pieces on the floor.
A part of the mirror seems to be glowing. You shift it about, and realise that it's reflecting the ceiling.
You look up at the ceiling, and see a deep blue 11, as well as part of a blue 10, and a purple 12.
It seems like the glowing billiard balls are shining their light on the chandelier, which is amplifying it, and focusing it on the ceiling!
