"Why do you need to know that?" you ask May, both curiously and suspiciously. You fight down impulses to accuse her of being a 'secret murderer', asking her about culinary preferences, or appraise her for being 'a good girl'. "Is there... some ulterior motive, perhaps?"
May is hesitant. "Well... only the Betrayer wouldn't care about saying a name. They might, however, care about giving a role, and might not know how it actually works..."
Twomato looks up from picking at his gradually regenerating glove. "You think I'm the Betrayer? After that?"
"No. It's just, you have nothing now to lose."
Twomato sighs, and then leans forward and speaks in a hushed whisper. You both lean in to hear him. "I'm the Teacher. I can pass on a skill once per day. To win, I need to pass on four skills."
May nods slowly.
"Mind telling me yours?" Twomato asks in return.
May shakes her head as she turns her back on you two and walks through the doorway. "I'd rather not. I'm still not convinced that this all wasn't some elaborate ploy by one of you."
Twomato grabs hold of his metal ball, and follows her.
This room looks interesting, though it probably doesn't have much more to offer. What do you do now?

After explaining to May and Twomato that you never got your sword back from Ace, they decide to tag along with you to go get it back. When you reach the machines, Twomato goes over to the ball opener machine, and tells you that he'll catch up.
After heading down Ace's passageway, you and May walk in silence for a while. Neither of you are walking very fast, due to your persisting injuries. She makes no move to initiate discussion, yet you feel an awkwardness in the air.
What do you do?

Do you start a conversation? If so, what do you talk about?

So... you're... a... nurse, did you say? Or was it doctor?

You feel the tension in the air to an insane degree. Unfortunately, your Mary Sue-esque skillset does not include starting conversations. At least, not without common ground.
You desperately scour your memory for something to say. "So..." you begin. "You're... a... nurse, did you say? Or was it doctor?"
May stops suddenly, and turns a cold incredulous glare at you. "No."
"No to what...?"
"I'm not a nurse." she says flatly. "I'm not a doctor. I'm not in a medical profession or training to be in one. I've also never mentioned my career, and I don't intend to."
Embarrassment fills your cheeks. You desperately try to escape this avenue of conversation. "W-w-why not?"
"It'd be a dead giveaw—" she says before suddenly clamping her lips together as her eyes widen.
"Are you... famous?"
"Just... j-just shut up. Forget it."
You glance at her face again, and try to place it. Her face looks familiar, but it doesn't mesh with the rest of her appearance. The scars in particular look out of place. When she sees you looking she quickly puts her helmet up.
You walk in silence for a while, before reaching Ace's challenge room. Like before, you realise, no message appears to tell you what kind of challenge room this is, but the wallpaper seems to be rib themed.
There's a giant human-shaped metal case that's exactly in Ace's proportions. Around the chest is some kind of compressing machine. There's also virtual reality headset, a breathing tube, and a strange machine with no discernible purpose. You still haven't found what you're looking for, so you keep looking. A stray glance leads you to notice that the chest is skull-themed.
You've looked everywhere.
Ace is not here.

...I thought he was supposed to be trapped here.
Who told us he was trapped here? This could be important later. CORE Hall is fine. Unless May has any ideas where Ace went.

He didn't go into his own chest, he went into the one he had the skill for. The one with toxic waste. Which I don't think was said on-screen. But, if I had to guess... 10's?
But he should've been moved back to his room. The same as everyone. When the day rolled over. Unless he's dead.

The day isn't over yet. He came into the Challenge room from the chest he had the skill for.

Oh... ...I'm very confused. I feel like I missed a post or something. Or maybe went on a massive, stupidity-induced drug trip.

Twomato catches up with you, and you explain the situation to him. He looks freaked out, and so does May. After thoroughly searching the room, May accepts your suggestion that you go back, and perhaps search the CORE hall. You walk through the corridor once more, this time the awkward silence is offset by Twomato's enigmatic personality. The conversation darts between speculation, recounting, and discussing the contents of the orbs. "I'd like to have a look at those pieces of paper that were in your orb, May." Twomato says, casually gesturing towards her. "My orb had green crystals and a mapmaker."
May perks up as he says this. "...'Mapmaker'?'
"Yeah. According to the pamphlet that came with it, it prints a map of everywhere in the facility any of the CORE group plus the Betrayer has been since Day 1's start. It only had three sheets to print on though. And I used one."
"You have a map? Let me see."Twomato pulls out then forks over a folded map that seems to unfold without any wrinkles, and his dried blood encrusted on it just flakes away. "It's not very detailed on the rooms themselves, but..."
You glance over it a few times as you walk, before you realise you've reached the end of the corridor. You open the door and look for your Challenge Room to head back to CORE hall when you notice them. Sprawled out on the dais is a grey-clad figure. They don't seem to be wearing any sort of mask. You carefully go towards them, while still keeping a safe distance. As you approach, you realise it. His tattooed face and grey hair are unmistakable, though it's a visage you've seen it only once before. It's Ace. What do you do?

Justice! First make sure he's dead, then loot the corpse. I mean. Check if he's alive. ...Then loot the corpse.

For what seems like the fifteen millionth time, you rush to the aid of a comrade who may or may not be trying to kill you. You edge close to him, and check his vitals. He's alive, but clearly unconscious. When you check over his body for injuries, you find several cuts all over his back and arms. Most of them seem to be inflicted from a lightly pressed scalpel, however there is a slash wound that seems noticeably thicker.
You search the body... you mean Ace, for his items. There's nothing there. His coin purse is also noticeably empty.
His wounds don't seem serious. A sound of a door opening alerts you to Foursight and Limelight appearing out of May's Challenge room, Foursight delicately holding a pile of paper scraps in one hand, the two ribbons in the other, while Limelight is clutching items to her chest, which include the Autospade, your Moose mask, and Foursight's magnifying glass. You are disheartened when you realise your sword is not among them.
They come over to the dais, and lay everything down carefully. As they do so, your eyes are drawn to two new items: A weathered page with a picture of two silhouettes entitled 'Binder', and a red dart.
You briefly discuss the situation, in which you gain the following information:
- The Binder is a role with no inherent winning condition, and only meet their win condition once they are 'bound' to another player on day 5, and that player's win condition is fulfilled. They also gain the ability to use that player's skills and abilities if they reach 'True Hex', while being able to use that player's powers from one echelon higher if they achieve 'Deep Hex'. Whatever that means. - The red dart has the ability to disable one's skills if it punctures your suit or your skin, and is effective for a full day after removal. - The scraps apparently have cryptic hints written on them. Most of the information you already know, however 'The skills are in the flesh', 'Signature in the secret with a ribbon and a key rings true', 'The chessmen remember', 'Whitewater rapids', 'Truth before Depth', and 'Sleep for three days in depth and awaken in depth' remain a mystery. - You only have 45 minutes left of the day - Redemption, Bubbles, and Elf haven't appeared, but everyone else is exploring. - Your sword, and everything else Ace took with him, are nowhere to be found. Neither is either helmet, and without it, it's probably impossible to get Ace back to his room.
So...
...What do you do?
