Speak? No. Give 4 a bro-hug. And then we must dance. While screaming. Screaming that Mr. Shadow can suck it, our bathroom stays unlocked. And we just took the lead. Core contestants 24, Killers 6, Mr. Shadow 15. Boom, baby. What else you got, huh? What else?
...Oh. And while ranting like a lunatic celebrating a small victory, check to see if there's actually 15 people in the room, or if the message was wrong. Or if there's 13 in the room and 2 killers missing.

Without warning, you lean over, and give 9 a bro-hug. He trembles as you slap him on the back, and looks around wildly.
You then start dancing, pausing only to taunt the nearest tv monitor, every few seconds. "Take that! Bubble gum it, my sinister friend."
"Sev, what are you doing?" 4 asks, facepalming. Or, helmet-palming, as the case may be.
"The bathroom. Stays. Unlocked!"
"Do you always do this? This victory gloat?"
"Looks like we just took the lead, what you got for us next, huh?"
You stop dancing, turn around, and take a quick headcount. Numbers 1 through 12 are here.
"I do not understand. What is he doing?"
"I wish I knew."
"Sorry." You say, glancing away. "We've just been through so much, and I don't understand what's happening, or why. What just happened... it's the first time since we arrived that something's felt like a victory."
"Well, let's see if your 'luck' holds. Apparently we have 30 days to get out of this... this place. If you don't learn to get your priorities straight, you might leave here a grave man."
"I don't know 'bout you guys, but after that dance, I think we should call him 'Gloat'."
"No... that won't do." 3 says, looking down condescendingly at you, from her lofty vantage point. "As the hero of the hour, I think we should call him, 'Limelight'."
"I think 'Septimus' has a nice ring to it..." 2 mutters.
What do you say you want to be called?
A: Just 'Seven' B: Steven C: Moose D: Megamoose E: Mean Green Fighting Machine F: Gloat G: Limelight H: Septimus I: Something else

That means the three that are not here do not have to adhere to the rules of being here on time since none of them are dead.
I like Moose.

Huh? Oh. I see. My count was off because when we split up we also included to missing numbers and I didn't notice. But that does answer one of my questions about whether the killers operate under the same rules.
Er... Mystic, you should pick.

Actually, according to the menu, Number -1 is dead.

But he's always dead.

Oh... I assumed -1 was... Nevermind.

"Y'know, I think I like just being 'Moose'. Anyone else got a preference for nicknames?"
"Still Ace. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"
"Dibs on 'Limelight'! ...If you're not having it..."
"I, obviously, am the great Allure!"
"Decider."
"Old Yeller. Just kidding, May. Because it's the fifth month?"
"Can I be... 'Twomato'?
"I will be Eleven. Eleven." Number 11 flicked the switch on his translator. "Elf."
"...What?"
"'Elf' is German for eleven." 4 explains. "I think I'll be... 'Foursight.'"
"I'll be 'Redemption'."
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 'Mu' is the twelfth letter of the Greek alphabet. I think I shall be 'Mu'.
After a short pause, 2 speaks up. "Is that everyone?"
"Um..." Says 9, fiddling with a small object. "Can I be... 'Bubbles'?
"Why 'Bubbles'?"
"I... found these," 9 holds up a bottle of bubbles. "In my room."
"Does anyone have any objection to these names?" 4 asks. "Ace, Twomato, Redemption, Foursight, May, Limelight, Moose, Allure, Decider, Elf, and Mu?"

Is it pronounced two-may-to or two-mah-to?

I'm fine with them, then.

There is silence all around. 4, now Foursight, looks around and claps her hands. "Good! Now, next order of business: Do we take the helmets off, or not?"
"No! We're not pals here, no matter how much you want us to be!" 1 – or rather, Ace, – settles into a defensive stance, and takes a step back. "I understand, that our lives are in jeopardy, if we recognise each other!"
"How do we trust each other, if we can't look into each others' faces?" Decider practically shouts, turning his head to face everyone in turn, nodding slightly. "How much easier is it to betray a faceless figure, than someone you have to picture as a real person?"
"I'm with... er... Decider, on this one." Says Mu, pensively. "A recent study has shown that 85% of people would kill someone to save their own life, provided that they could just press a button, and never look them in the face. However, only 45% of people would do it if they actually had to have a five-minute conversation with them first."
"I hate to say it, but I agree with 'Ace'. I don't really want to take my helmet off..."
"I say we take them off. He—" Here she gestures at Ace. "—Saw 7, I mean Moose, without his helmet."
"So did you!"
"And he saw me back. I don't recognise him, and I don't think he recognises me."
"He saw me back too, and so did you! This business about him not recognising us is conjecture anyway! And if you ask him, he'd lie if he's a killer!"
"He risked his life to save Bubbles! Unlike you, who ran like a coward at the first sign of trouble!"
"I didn't run! I walked because that was the plan! We agreed! If you two can't be trusted to follow agreed upon instructions, then how can you be trusted with everyone's identities?"
"Chances are, we don't know each other, anyway."
"You don't know that. There could be some link between all of us."
"I don't want to take my helmet off. It is too risky. And pointless."
"The Allure's identity cannot be revealed! Criminals from all over shall come after the ones I love, and kill them one by one! And my house will be swamped with annoying reporters!"
4 turns to you and Bubbles. "What about you two?"
"I... I don't know... I guess we could leave the voice filters on, and take the helmets off, so it's easy to tell each others' voices apart?"
"You know how to do that? You've been hiding this from us?"
"N-n-no, I just forgot! You just say the words 'Filter, turn off', and your voice filter turns off."
"Is that a vote for 'masks off', then?"
"No, I'm not really sure. I think Moose should decide."
You look around at everyone, and think for a while. Eventually, you decide. "I think..."
A: "...We should leave the masks on."
B: "...We should leave the masks on, but turn the voice filters off."
C: "...We should take our masks off, but leave the voice filter on."
D: "...We should the masks off, and turn the voice filter off."
E: "...That... actually, I don't know."

I'm going for C.
Also, a small message appears in the top left corner of the screen. "Ace will remember that..."

"...We should take our masks off, but leave the voice filter on." You say, carefully removing your moose mask. "Voice filter on. Now, you know what to do. There's a majority vote in effect."
"This is absurd! I will not give up my identity, if it could get me killed!"
Foursight is the first to comply, and you are once again greeted by her dark-haired, bluep-eyed visage. "There's a big difference between knowing someone's face and their name. Don't forget that me and 7... I mean Moose, have already seen your face."
"Just because you don't recognise me, doesn't mean nobody will!"
Bubbles is the next to remove his helmet. He does so hesitantly, but firmly. When he takes it off, you see that he has matted blonde hair, very pale skin, a button nose and brown eyes. Ace scoffs him.
"How do you expect to get anything done, if we can't trust each other? If we can hide our emotions." Decider says, raising his hands in the air. He removes his helmet too. A face with short brown stubble on head and chin, with sun-bronzed skin, thick lips, and steely blue eyes is revealed. "Voice filter on."
May shakes her head for a bit, and finally says "To meerkat with it!" and presses the spot on her helmet to take it off firmly, as if crushing an ant. She is tanned, with criss-crossing white scars, short black hair, and green eyes that feel slightly familiar.
One by one, everyone removes their helmets. Twomato has a pinched face, big rectangular glasses, dark skin, and short hair, Mu has salt and pepper hair, a smooth, freckled face, and a trim goatee, Elf has spiky blonde hair, and a tan patch over his eye, Limelight has light brown pigtails, and almost vampire-white skin, Redemption is rosy-faced with straight red hair and a rectangular face, and after a long spiel about revealing his 'secret identity', Allure consents to do so for the will of the people, and a hook-nosed, bright-eyed man of just beyond your age stands before you with hurricane hair.
Only Ace has yet to remove his helmet, and he still adamantly refuses to do so.
What is your approach?
A: Let him be
B: Force him to reveal himself
C: Describe him to everyone in vivid detail, and speculate as to who he might be until he removes to just remove his helmet like a good boy
D: Threaten him

Calmly and rationally explain that with the killers still on the loose, being able to identify everyone by face is a helpful safeguard against impersonation. It's easy to steal an outfit, but not so much a face. It's well worth the risk. And it's safer to keep the helmets on as a rule, only taking them off from time to time.

"Listen." You say, as diplomatically as possible. "With killers on the loose, being able to identify each other by face is a valuable skill. It's far easier to steal an outfit than a face, after all. It's well worth the risk, and once we know each others' faces, we can always put the helmets back on, only taking them off when our identity is challenged."
"How exactly do you rationalise that?" Ace asks, knocking his head against his helmet in a derogatory fashion, that you have a feeling implicitly states that your head is hollow. "These suits have sort of... melded with our skin, and they're obviously all tailored to fit us specifically! How would you hide a suit being far too baggy, or too small to fit you altogether?"
"This is all semantics, foul fiend!" Allure yells out. "The risk is far greater if you keep your helmet, than if you take it off! So cease and desist, remove your helmet at once!"
"Why don't you go ahead and make me?"
