You leave awesome characters like Alistair alone, Birdy. Oh wait, wrong RPG world. Need to get back to DA:O in the next few days. Are you experiencing a little something called Dragon Age withdrawal, GX? I'll try to post some more of the races tonight, but I'm getting tired. Don't know how much longer I can write. Also, your boyfriend can tell you all about Forgeborn if you're interested in them, so I'll probably post the lore behind them last.

Well, I tried my best Lurk. After hours of working on your custom portrait, I have officially given up. With the tools I have at my disposal, it is simply impossible. I finally finished the portrait, and got it to a somewhat presentable look, and then I learned it's not quite as simple as cutting and pasting it onto Roll20. Doesn't work like that. I messed around with the journal for a long while, and the best I could do was move a large white frame with your portrait in the far corner onto the map.
I spent $5 on these blank portrait circles, and now I can't even use them. I don't know if I simply need another art program besides Windows Paint, but I can't justify downloading and learning an entirely new program(That might not even be free) for one player's custom token when I don't even know if it will work anyway.
Crow made the BESM tokens. I have abso-freaking-lutely no idea how he did it, but he did. If you really want that portrait, talk to him. Otherwise, I'll see if I can find a suitable token already on Roll20 for you to use.

Took me another 2 hours, but I'm about halfway finished with Santa Cora's map. I had to draw it in CC3 first, upload it to Roll20 so I could use it, then manually place roads all over the map.. I haven't even gotten around to placing houses down yet. Christ. No wonder Birdy just draws doodles and calls it a day. I've put like... 50 hours into this campaign already, according to Roll20. And we haven't even started yet. Good dragons above....

Neo, I uploaded some pictures to Roll20 which you should be able to access from the GM menu to use as tokens, I think.
Just go to the GM asset tab in the menu, find tokens, and search up "Spydvinge", and you should find three different images with different cropping jobs. I don't know if you can convert them into round tokens or not though.

I am indeed the GM, X. If you want, we can test it out today. Just lemme know when you're free.
Lurk, I'll see what I can do. But finishing Santa Cora, at least starting on the Sewers, and posting the stuff for GX comes first.

Oh, since Neo said I could, I guess I'll explain the Forge born lore.
Forge born were created hundreds of years ago by the greatest dwarven blacksmith ever known, and were designed to perform all sort of tasks, from physical labor to combat troops. The Dwarven Clergy considers them non-sentient, though the Forge born are quite intelligent and clearly sapient. They tend to be made from lustrous metals like brass and gold, and they do not need to sleep or drink water. They subsist by eating fire and need protection from rain in heavy storms. They have wings, and they can't fly.
Basically, think mass-produced clockwork warriors who are anywhere from 6 to 8 feet tall that have been around for quite a while.

I'm trying to post the info on the Dwarves, but my phone is being stupid and making it nearly impossible to write. I'm going to switch over to the Narrate App and see if that helps, but if not, I can't write anything today. Sorry GX.

Dwarves: The Dwarves originally ruled the Under, the vast expanse of caverns, tunnels, and ruins deep beneath the ground, from their ancestral home of Brighthollow. Also known as "the Crystal City", Brighthollow a wonder of the ancient world. The ancient Dwarves were said to possess incredible technological marvels that rivaled the machinations of the gods. The ancient Dwarves were known for their generosity, and from their seat of power beneath the world, they shared their vast technology and wealth with the countries above them. Because of this, the age in which the Dwarves prospered is considered to have been a Golden Age for all. The Third Age, also known as the Golden Age, was the longest age ever recorded by historians; it lasted for nearly 1500 years. The Third Age came crashing down in one of the most violent and devastating wars since the war against the Tyrant King. The generosity and trusting nature of the Dwarves lead them to welcome the wandering Drow into their home. The Drow, or Dark Elves, had no home of their own, having been cast out of their place in the forest by the Elf Queen of the time, for reasons that have been lost to time.
Long story short, the Drow decided they wanted Brighthollow for their own and rebelled against the unsuspecting Dwarves. Caught completely off guard, the Drow quickly overwhelmed the Dwarves, took the castle, and slew the Dwarf King. In just a single night, the Drow took the Crystal City and forced the Dwarves out. Enraged, the three sons of the slain Dwarf King rallied their people, and laid siege to their own city for a whole month. The casualties on both sides were enormous. Eventually, the Dwarves were forced to retreat, and forced into a long exodus that eventually lead them to their new home above ground: the Forge, the great city built into the side of a mountain.
Modern Dwarves are an isolated bunch. They rarely interact with outsiders except to trade, but you will see a few Dwarves in some of the major human cities. Most Dwarves don't really believe in "religion". They rely more on logic and reason, and the only things they love more than shiny coin are strong drink and a good fight. That said, there are few people who are better traders and merchants than Dwarves.
The Dwarven Order of Clerics are a minority among the Dwarves, but they are a very religious bunch. Almost to the point of fanaticism. Most also have a tendency to be extreme isolationists, and even prejudiced against the other races. They worship the planet itself, and believe it to be the fallen body of their Goddess of Creation, Skadi. They believe only Dwarves were born from Skadi, and all the other races are foreigners, outsiders, refugees, even invaders. Most aren't very nice.

Cheese-dwarf and Pixie aren't going to get along, are they...
Which reminds me, what type of checks will the inquisitor background help with, anyway...? I'm kind of torn between meta-maxing by bumping up reformed thief or sticking with RP.

Dragons! Dragons are a legendary, mythical, and also terrifying group of creatures. They've inspired awe, worship, fascination, terror, obsession, and even adoration from all manner of people from every race for millennia. The Great Gold Wyrn is worshipped as the savior of all living things(Well, except demons) and the Red is a tale used to frighten little children and teach them dragons are not cute cuddly things. Well, most of them. For most of history, dragons were very rarely ever seen. They stayed in their homes high above the clouds, and in their mountain caves and volcanic lairs, in their deep lakes and forgotten towers. Only the Blue and the Black stayed near civilization, and kept dragons from fading into myth.
However, that all changed ten years ago, when the shadow of the Red blotted out the sun and all of the Civilized Lands heard the wingbeat of a flying mountain. For the first time in known history, the Red came down out of the clouds, just enough for any and all below to see the bottom of an incomprehensibly huge being. He roared, and the planet shook in terror. He roared, and the very heavens obeyed His will. The sky opened, and dragons poured down from the Overworld. Other dragons asleep in ancient dungeons woke and flew for the first time in eons. The Red disappeared once again, but dragons darkened the sky. Most scattered to the four winds, but dozens angrily descended on the world below, in a storm of fire, lightning, and ice, scorching the land asunder. All across the Civilized Lands, people ran for their lives. The armies of each nation mounted a desperate defense. The Icons themselves took to the field and drove the dragons back- including, oddly enough, the Blue. Many lost their lives, villagers, soldiers, and dragons alike. Until the gates of the Imperial Palace opened, and for the first time since the ancient war against the Tyrant King, the Dragon Emperor appeared in full golden armor astride a huge Gold Dragon. The Emperor took to the skies himself, and wielding the full power passed down from the Blessed Emperor, he shouted at the heavens and commanded the sky to close. It obeyed. He shouted at the weather and told a storm to come. It obeyed, and lightning struck every other dragon in the sky or on the ground. He shouted at the sea, and a great tidal wave rose up and swallowed the majority of the dragons left. Then the Emperor commanded the dragons themselves, and they froze in obedience, and he told them to flee and never attack again, and so far, they have obeyed. In an instant, the Dragon Emperor had singlehandedly saved the land from what many had assumed was the end of the world.
However, whatever the Red did that day, the effects remained. More and more dragons were waking up all over the world. More and more dangerous Living Dungeons were surfacing in greater numbers than ever before. The Iron Sea started assaulting the Wall of Man more than ever before. Animals started behaving erratically, and even monsters started behaving more and more unpredictably. They grew bold and started attacking travellers on the road more and more frequently. And perhaps most peculiar of all, the Storm Giants had gone silent. There has not been a single thunderstorm in a decade, and there has been less rain, leading to a drought. It was almost as if nature itself had rebelled.
However, despite recent history, dragons are not always monstrous killing machines. There are both sentient and non sentient dragons, and older dragons can even transform into humans, elves, or whichever humanoid form they prefer. Sometimes, a dragon will fall in love with a mortal. The result of that union is a Half-Dragon child, known as Dragonspawn. They share most of the features of their mortal parent, but they have the vibrant eyes of a dragon and their skin is harder than normal, stronger, more resilient. Some Dragonspawn are also born with tails, wings, pointed ears and fangs, or other similar draconic features, though this is rare, and most don't inherit more than one draconic features. Dragonspawn prefer isolation, as they are more dragon by nature than human or elven, and often go off to live with their Draconic parent. All Dragonspawn can use the Breath Attack of their parent, but the most powerful of their race can transform into the same type of dragon as their parent. However, that usually takes many years of practice. Dragonspawn do not live quite as long as full dragons, but they live much longer than normal people. Elvish Dragonspawn in particular tend to live for a very, very long time.
Dragonspawn are typically feared and mistrusted by commonfolk.

I'm kind of torn between meta-maxing by bumping up reformed thief or sticking with RP. Inquisitor would probably help with speech checks, interrogation checks, and the like. I think. Depends on what specifically you mean by "Inquisitor". I'll need to know more about that part of your character's background

Could someone who knows what they're doing look over Mystic's character sheet and double check everything's right? I'm out right now and won't be back for a bit.

I need to send Neo the specifics of my background, then he needs to tell me what religion I follow and what it means...
Oh. I found a list of all the races and their backgrounds, but didn't post it because Neo said he was changing stuff. Should I?

Feel free to post the Orcs, Halflings, and Demontouched if you want, they're pretty much the same. I already posted my versions of humans, elves(all three branches), half-elves, Dwarves, and Dragonspawn, and Lurk posted my version of the Forgeborn. My versions of Half-Orcs and Holy Ones are kinda different, so don't touch those. IIRC, that's all of the races right there.

I need someone to sit down with me and help me figure out what's the deal with the character sheet on Roll20. It automatically generates most things, but it doesn't let me manually change the ability mods at all, and I can't figure out why the hell not. Because of that, characters using the 13th Age sheet on Roll20 are weaker than they should be.
I really need someone to sit down and help me with this ASAP, because I need to figure out if we can use this, or if we're going to have to use the character generator Lurk found after all, regardless of its flawed save mechanic.
I'm attempting to use this to check if Mystic's character sheet is fine, but obviously, it's not working.
