It's payback for that one out of 200,000 chance you got with the ring. Rolling two 100s in a row on a 100-sided die is only 1/10000. Sorry, I'm a pedant. |

I was looking into Magic Items, how to use them, what sorts of things there are... I found the absolute worst possible item for Aeva. I'd rather not say what it is, because I don't want to give Neo any ammo.
A: Aeva would take one look at it and dismiss it as a useless trinket for rich people. Even if she took it to sell it, she wouldn't be interested in wearing it.
B: Useless, if not counterproductive ability that would draw attention to her in social situations, but not necessarily in battle. The exact opposite of what she wants.
C: Quirk that would be... ruinous. Not because it's counter to her personality, but because it's too similar. Cranking it up to 11 would be self-destructive. Interesting to role-play, but self-destructive.

So... No Mystic, no Cheese, no reason to have the session tonight. So I worked myself into literal exhaustion for nothing. Oh joy. I already have absolutely no idea how I'm going to explain Warin being unconscious through literally everything, all the way to Santa Cora. Actually... You know what? Warin is going to wake up this session regardless, and we'll just have to retcon things a bit when Cheese gets back. You guys can just pretend Warin is fighting with you... Actually, even better, I'll control Warin in combat. Because I'm tired and really, really, REALLY, don't feel like rebalancing encounters. Again.

Do you guys still want to have it tonight? If people still want to, or don't really care, then yeah I guess. Still on for tonight. But if you guys want to do it tomorrow, that would be fine too.
I'm already prepared and everything, so I don't really have a preference. Unless Cheese can be there tomorrow, in which case the GM overrules everything else and says the session will be tomorrow.

That's impossible. I can't do Saturday. Whether we have the session tonight or tomorrow, we're still going to be missing both Mystic and Cheese.
