The Schism: A 13th Age RP Campaign

Don't worry, we'll panic update sheets together. I'm going to look back at Raven's sheet and go "what is all of this and how much is missing?"

Partly because we haven't seen Bast in forever. Partly because the original focus of the campaign was the druid group. Partly because with what little we do already know about killing empyreon dragons it seems like she would be able to track their respawn energy... stuff... better than anyone else besides Drya or maybe Rhea. Partly because as good as monk is we already have one and not doubling up on stuff is admittedly just personal preference when I'm already looking at Aeva and Selene and trying to pretend that's not already happening.

And partly because we got a really good look at Raj and generally know how monk works, but we've hardly seen Bast in action and maybe... 7 turns with other druids total? In the campaign? She's had, like, 2 turns. And I would like to see a druid in action with our party if one of the core members is swapping out with one.

But, like I said. After my top 2 picks (Raven since she's been gone so long and Selene because RP mostly), it's a pretty sizable drop to 'any of these are fine with me and my preference isn't that strong.'

As for the Nyl thing, when I said I'm neutral I meant it. People can convince me one way or the other. She needs to go see Maggie and probably lock herself in the biggest library she can find for a few days, but she's fine to delay that trip if there's a good reason.


I just realized we have a super-Seren with Raj, a super-Aeva with Selena... We need to recruit a high level cleric. What's Warin's mom whose name I'm not even going to try to spell up to?

As I said in my post on the last page, I highly, highly recommend bringing Selene to the temple. If you don't bring Selene, you're probably gonna have a bad time.

Birb, if you haven't read my recommendations post on the last page, I would suggest doing so.

Also, Selene isn't a "super Aeva." Selene and Aeva actually have almost exactly the same HP and defenses, similar abilities, similar transformations, and do similar damage. Selene's not that much stronger.

Sunniva is indeed a high level Cleric. But she is not a recruitable character.

Finished updating Bast's sheet. While she can't halve pretty much all damage like Raj can, she makes up for it with her ability to stack 3 Druid Beast Form Aspects on top of each other.

If she goes full Behemoth/Bear/Leopard form(IIRC that's her biggest stat boost), and she's near a place of high natural or primal energy, she becomes near unkillable.

What would Bast think of Raven's fae creatures?

She would love them. Mizu would have a new friend to play with.

Also, Violet is a Shadow Dragon, and the final story fight in the Farlands is something that is very bad for Black Dragons as a whole, but Shadow Dragons in particular. Raj would be fine, Violet likely would not.

If I was making the call, I'd have the same list but with Raj instead of Bast, but I'm more than happy to go with Bast for something different and so that you're happier with it. It'd still be a great party to to take.

So, my official vote: Warin, Seren, Aeva, Selene, Raven, Bast
