VitQuest: The Verse

I grab the card out of the air, figuring I'll deal with the house guests first. I look for TARDIS external speakers so I can talk to them form inside.

"Hello! Do we speak the same language? I'm rather lost."

I try to contain my excitement. I was hoping to find some records of this place, maybe a map or two. At the least a spare weapon for Terra. But I can't stop myself from flying onto to the desk and staring at the rocking chair. "If this mansion doesn't pull some disappearing act, it'll make a wonderful base of operations... hideout... thing," I think to myself.

"Nevermore!" I announce to the void.

Terra retrieves Dr. Elijah's Complete Guide to Wheat, Wheat-Germ, and Wheat Products for Farmers, Bakers, and Merchants of all Skill Levels: The Unabridged Version, 3rd Edition, with a Forward by Mrs. Irene Gallant and tries to dust if off. When it refuses to clean so easily, she starts punting bat corpses at the wall. "You stupid, dead bats! This book is important! I can't have it getting all stained with your stupid, useless blood! You stupid... stupid... flying... flaming... jerks! Now where's that stupid, blasted crow gone!?"

(I really don't like to explain this often because I think it makes me sound mean, but I'm gonna have to explain that as the game master, it's sort of my job to tell you what is around you and who the NPCs are. So with your current post, it's okay to decide to go outside and assume what may happen next, but you can't really decide that someone may be there or that the weather is foggy. Sorry if this sounds like I'm being a jerk, but I gotta have everyone following the same rules. Make sense?)

You head outside and take a look around. Things are different than the usual Liberty Island, however. The island itself looks as it always does, but in the sky, you can see floating islands. There aren't any boats down at the pier currently and it seems the island is empty with nobody on it. Liberty Garden is as beautiful as ever with the flowers blooming in it and the sun shining brightly. You do notice somewhere that isn't floating nearby. Another island in the water. It has large mountains on it. Flying over there doesn't seem like it would be all that hard.

Mr. WWX

You take out the crystal and use its powers to launch fireballs at the plants and easily burn them up and defeat them before continuing onward. Heading through the hedge maze, some big, blue thing is in the way. It's making snoring sounds. Wait, this is the Pokemon Snorlax! Apparently it decided to sleep in the middle on the maze and there don't appear to be any easy ways around it. You'll have to find a way to wake it up.

"Huh? Dark hooded person? I think someone like that went by here. I dunno. But...since YOU'RE here, would you like your fortune read! I may be lost, but that doesn't mean I can make a little extra cash!"

Crow

Yelling out loud in your excitement, causes some sort of laughter to be heard around the room. It's very strange, but the books on the shelves begin to shake violently. Terra, noticing the open door and hearing you talking, decides, this is likely the room you were in and joins up. With the two of you there, the rocking chair stops moving back and forth before books begin to fly off the shelves at you! Some invisible enemy must be attacking you with books!

"I'm not a TARDIS, I'm inside the TARDIS. Just need to make sure you're nice. I kind of just...woke up here without knowing how or why and I'm also a bunny, but I think we're looking for the same things."

I go outside and meet the Yoshi and Pikachu and everyone else (how big is bunny!me compared to them?).

"Hi. Why are you looking for people with spheres? I remember I'm supposed to be looking for them too but not much else."

Crow

You practice flying and dodging, but while you have gotten used to flying, it's slightly more difficult to avoid projectiles. Especially ones shaped so strangely. You get hit by a few books and are knocked to the ground, noticing Terra running to the door and slamming it closed as books crash against it. You hear the laughter again and you thought you saw a man, but it's like he disappeared...

You decide to check out the simpler looking island down in the water, landing on the beach. It's warm and sunny over here. There's actually a small port town you can see nearby here. Anyway, the beach itself is pretty beautiful. There are many different seashells and starfish along the shore. This would be a nice place to relax a little. You also notice some kids are nearby, running around and playing on the beach. They're getting pretty close too.

Mr. WWX

Not Tails reports that on the other side the road simply splits in two again past the Snorlax. There's not much else noteworthy.

"But can you look into the future? I don't think soooo...it only costs a simple three coins and I promise you won't be disappointed."

Wabbit X will just tunnel under the snorlax and head right

Bowser is intrigued by the offer but how does he know this isn't a trick. Hmm can you prove you can see the future or is all just (14 ) hocus pocus.

Crow

You hop along down the hall, opening a door at the end into a large front room. There's a couple of staircases on either side of the room that head down with multiple doors on the floor you're on. Hopping down the stairs, you pass under a large chandelier, which falls down, stopping just above you. Luckily, you're a crow! Any human caught in that would likely have a serious head injury. Anyway, after you hear more laughter, you head on through the large double doors into another long hallway, passing by a floating candle. Sadly, it seems the way forward through the halls is full of giant rats. They're pretty gross to be honest. There are multiple doors in the hall, but the door at the very end is blocked. One room you can hear a piano being played, another is a bathroom with the water on, and the other room that's open is quiet and the door feels cold.

HHD

The girl with the group runs straight toward you, scooping you up in her arms and cuddling you with glee. She excitedly speaks to you about how soft and fluffy and cute you are. The others try to stop her for a moment, but eventually just give up and shrug. The blocky man speaks up as you are undergoing the super cuddle treatment. "Right now we are looking for a Jigglypuff."

The Yoshi joins in as well. "Anyways our friend Yura needs the spheres to save her world. Lupis is a very close friend of Yura and we were looking for him for her. If you want come to come with us this Jigglypuff can be tough especially if its giving Meta Knight trouble." None of this really seems to make much sense to you, but your amazing bunny face is capable of hiding the fact you have no clue what they're going on about.
