Burning Abyss or Yang Zings vs Raigeki though. Also Artifacts need to be destroyed on my opponent's turn so running heavy storm with Artifacts can potentially be a big issue. Please tell me where I stepped out of line Golurk, because I can't identify that myself. I guess I did reach out a bit on that. I thought you were using "Heavy Storm" to, instead of actually providing a decent counterpoint, to partially deconstruct a part of my argument by making a partial strawman. EDIT: You know, since Artifacts. I forgot about the "On your opponent's turn" clause, so that's my fault.

So I introduced heavy storm awkwardly but I seriously meant to offer that suggestion should we decide to make a cyoaverse banlist.
Also I see the issue here. "Things we've already banned". I've never been of the mindset that the banlist has been different between the official and what we play here. People hate Madolches because they found the frustrating so I stopped using them. Same reason I don't play my burn deck. Not fun. They were never "banned" in my mind. I've dueled with nekroz a lot. I want to duel shaddols. I never supported banning Lightsworns, just opposed the banning of Fluffals. So...banning Raigeki is a much bigger deal to me than it is you.

My Sworns aren't banned anymore anyway. And I'd love it if my opponent used Raigeki against my Ying Yangs. I respect your viewpoint, HD, and will abide by it... Except in the case of Verse Tournaments. Anything I have banned for official tournaments will be treated the same as if it was banned by Konami.

Shaddolls will be a pain for your Artifact deck, since Artifacts rely exclusively on Special Summons.
Use your Ghostrick deck for that, since Shaddolls has no banish recovery AFAIK.
But I found a good card for my Burn deck, which is Summon Limit. I won't add it yet though.

Though I will relent on the banning of Raigeki for tournaments if Neo thinks it's fine, but it should definitely be banned from the RP since it's just narratively boring.

Anyways, Level Limit B or Gravity Bind?

Useless if the opponent uses XYZs so I don't think they're that big a deal, especially since so many cards can destroy other cards.

Is there a way to limit destruction effects, because that's probably the biggest issue.
Though I was asking which one I should use.
Most decks aren't overly XYZ reliant, but there's Tellars, Constellars, Gagagas, and that's all that I can think of off the top of my head.

Limiting destruction is asking to make a trap/spell dependant deck invincible.

I meant monster destruction effects.

There's Heart of Clear Water, which I already use.

Monster effects can all be negated in the same manner, regardless of the kind of effect. If you limit a particular kind of monster effect, without regard to the monster itself, that will annihilate any semblance of balance the game has and completely ruin it.

I was referring to cards that dd that.

Now, if you're asking what kind of cards you should use to deal with monster effects, specifically destruction effects, well, then it really depends on the monster. I don't think there is an all-purpose negate, besides Divine Wrath.

My Noble Knights deck is mostly reliant on having backrow to place all of my equip spells (but their effects are defenses against destruction so don't get any ideas). Should I run Mirror Force, Pinpoint Guard, and Battleguard Howling as traps leaving my deck size at 42, or should I just run Royal Decree and reduce deck size to 40 but with weaker defensive options?

Royal Decree, honestly. Also run Release Restraint Wave if you can.

Royal Decree is a serious pain in the arse; but that doesn't protect you from things like Giant Trunade or JD.
