If I was actually awake HD, I would have used Gardna to negate the attack on Lumina instead, that way, even if you attacked her with your other monster, I would still have had one monster on the field. And if you hadn't decided to attack her with your second mon as well, then I could have synchro summoned again on the next turn, and summoned JD from my hand.
But I'm way too tired...
