I remember reading the Reddit AMA from the guy who runs YGOrg, and he described new YGO as "the same number of cards played, but in fewer turns."

Hey Lurk. Now you know how I felt when XYZs became a thing.
The game was way slower before then. Synchros sped things up a lot from the original (snail's) pace, but XYZs open floodgates I never new existed. Ah, I remember when duels weren't seven turns tops.

i.imgur.com/5tI4ma9.jpgMoar legacy support (Cyber and Stardust Dragon taking the cover)? Yay! (Or maybe they'll just print more Blackwings because of course)

I'm now convinced that the writer for Arc-V is secretly a Neo fan.

My last hope is that "that thing" was a ritual monster, but it's probably going to be a fusion/regular effect monster that needs the 4 dragons as tributes/material.

Zarc is totally me when I'm angry.

I feel like Zarc will either be a Normal/Effect monster or a Ritual, actually. With human Zarc being the ritual/normal spell card being used to summon him.

That new Astrograph(?) Magician is probably going to be key in summoning it, and since that's probably going to be a Pendulum Monster, my guess is it's either going to Trump Witch-style Fuse the dragons, or Zefra-style Ritual it out. We still don't know how Pendulum Summoning is related to Zarc though. He was using the original Odd-Eyes Dragon, so maybe there's still more summoning things to come.

Treatoad's TCG name gave me a terminal disease. "Toadally Awesome"

AHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahaaaaaaaaa...*sob*
They also officially renamed Frog the Jam. Now they just have to fix Red-Eyes B. Chick and Summoned Skull.

The Konami blog post announcing Toadally Awesome (cringe) mentioned that it can be summoned using "the monster formally known as Frog the Jam". It also doesn't have the "except Frog the Jam" text in the English translation so they're probably fixing it now.

You can do Action Duels on YGOPro. Turn on Anime cards and search for "Action Field". There's a bunch of them. They activate from your deck automatically just like Speed World. And the best part is that there's variations that include actual fields (for example, Action Field - The Gates of the Dark World) that do everything the original field spell does, plus the Action Duel bit.
So if you don't have an action card, you use the field spell to roll a die, and you get a card, or your opponent gets a card, based on the result. Fun stuff.
