*starts duel* *starts out with 5 spells/traps, even though half of my deck is monsters*

The second duel turned out much better in my favor, mainly because I was actually able to draw monsters and got really lucky with an early Allure of Darkness card.
Veil of Darkness is also really good for this, since most of the monsters in the deck can either be summoned from the graveyard or are most beneficial there.
Mezuki is the weak link though, due to a lack of a Dark attribute.

You need to have two Pendulum monsters in each pendulum zone for them to work. Red number is the right, and blue number is the left. When you have two monsters in your Pendulum zones, once per turn, you can special summon any number of monsters in your hand whose levels are inbetween the blue and red numbers (1 and 5 numbers allow for levels 2-4 to be summoned). In addition, Pendulum monsters also have a secondary effect similar to continuous spell cards while in the Pendulum zone.

You need two of them. You play them in the pendulum zone like spell cards, and then you can special summon any monsters from your hand, or any pendulum monsters in your extra deck, that have levels between their pendulum scale numbers. If they're destroyed, they go to the extra deck face up, and have to be pendulum summoned in order to return. Pendulum monster have to start in the main deck.

We should play with a "heart of the cards" mode. Instead of drawing at the start of each turn, you search your deck for a card.

Okay, guess I should add another one then. Or take out that I. Either way.

Maybe if it were like once per game instead of once per turn...

Once per game would still be crazy, especially with OTK decks.

Maybe if it were like once per game instead of once per turn... That sounds more fair. But we'd have to figure some sort of rule. Like"only in last resort situations", or something, since Glurk is right.

Maybe a "when you have no monsters on the field" thing.

.... I think that would be a little too broken with my Lightsworn deck.

Noble Arms is hard to fight since you can't tell what's going on half of the time.

Noble Arms is hard to fight since you can't tell what's going on half of the time. You're losing, that's what's going on.

.... I think that would be a little too broken with my Lightsworn deck. That's why It's a Last Resort thing. And you have to say, I believe/activate Heart of the cards!

Well, it doesn't help that you have to constantly remember the paragraph-long effects on every single card.
