It's not morning anymore, because I made that post go away. So it's still the sage's house. So that Cai can figure out where he's staying.
And I'm just going to have Leilah land in the village. Probably unconcious. The only other person who might be doing anything this day is Fen. And maybe Elaine. And Cheese, as a stretch. Mmm, stretchy cheese. So, it's fine if she just chills and waits. Unless there's some reason she specifically needs to meet Cade at his house.

But there's no resolution for the scene in the Sage's house. Halcyon leaves and all the other characters are sitting their with their tongues out like "welp". Resolution does not necessarily have to be onscreen. A pointless, tiny post just to end the scene is not resolution.

And Cai doesn't have any plans for the night or next day. So that needs to be fixed. Kinda weird for him to just stand in some person's house for several hours without moving. This ain't Skyrim. And Cailurk can just off-handedly mention them leaving. Tah-dah.

So now Leilah is going to be involved with the village? Congrats. You just made everything needlessly complicated. But whatever. I'm not posting for Cade and Rena again. There's no reason to.

Because Caderyn's involvement with the rebels needs to be secret. Leilah showing up in the village means the Sage gets involved, Hal gets involved, Cai gets involved, and all of a sudden, a simple scene turns into a giant fiasco, potentially ruining my current plans.
If you can't see how all of this will be a big issue, that's not my fault. I'm too tired to explain and my phone isn't working. But Leilah needs to meet Cade at his house.
Now goodnight.

Leilah and her pegasus crash into the lake. Between the weight of their armor and their soaked clothes/wings, they sink and drown. You aren't the only one with plans, Neo, and I'm tryin' to work with you here. I want Cai to bump into Leilah because of reasons. If you want Cade's involvment with the rebels to stay secret, I can make that happen. For one, Leilah's naive, not stupid. She won't ask him to join up in front of everyone. "Oh, rebels are just making sure the military's not attacking the village," or something. Second, the information about Cade would pass through Sonja to the military. And Sonja has a massive axe to grind with the regional commander, as you probably noticed. "Oh, whoops, forgot that little detail. Hope it doesn't bite her in the ass." So. Other than "I don't want all the king's horses and all the king's men knowing yet," is there any reason for your plans that Leilah needs to go straight to Cade's house? And if so, how can she bump into Cai?

Glurk! You know what you need to do. You saw the next post incoming. So make it not night. With GX, if need be. I want to get that post out before I head to work at 12:30 in the tomorrow.
Cheese, if you edited your backstory, I'm not seeing it for some reason. Still says the last edit was 23 hours ago.

I'm saying you aren't happy with how Neo resolved the scene in the sage's house. So resolve the scene.
Talk about how Cade and Rena left. Then talk about how Cai found somewhere to sleep. Work with GX. Then let it be the next morning in-universe.
And try to get that done in 11 hours. If you can't, it'll be like 10 before I can start things moving again.

Name: Barabas Levitt Class: Butler (wields Knives and Staves, promotes to Strategist.) Starting faction: Militia Gender: Male Age: 32
Appearance: Though Barabas is a full-blooded Beorc, and a common one at that, he is of above average overall height standing at six feet tall. His hair is jet black and very smooth, swept back away from his distinctive brow and sharp, piercing hazel eyes. He has an angular face, with very pronounced bones and strong jawline. His skin is an olive colour and somewhat tanned by a balance of outdoor gardening and upkeep alongside indoor serving and care. Equally, his years of work and training have given him a well toned body, hidden though this fact is by his full butler's attire which compliments his innate handsomeness with its own. The suit itself is a monotone black and white ensemble with even the buttons and layout so mathematically precise that not a piece of it, down to the unstained cravat, betrays any individuality.
Personality: Barabas carries himself calmly and humbly, almost to the point of prostration. He plays the perfect servant, and is skilled at entrusting himself to his superiors. He is however, very cold, calculating and detached, constantly appraising those around him and adapting his strategies to his surroundings. He's naturally distrustful, but can foster some strange form of respect for and mutual understanding with those he comes to understand as strong figures.
Background: Barabas was raised from birth in the palacious surroundings of upper Nasain nobility. His mother was a lowly maid servant and so too was he raised by she and the other Beorc of the house staff to serve their wolf Laguz superiors. Though he was taught before he could even speak to know his place, he only ever knew one thing of his father. His mother said that the man was a wandering sorcerer, a secret practitioner of the dark arts who appeared in the court one day and disappeared after their illicit tryst. In spite of that, Barabas appeared to play the role of a house servant perfectly. He acted with proper diligence and accord and endeared himself so to his superiors that he was allowed access to tools and mentors beyond his traditional means. He learned from religious scholars and practitioners of the healing arts, self defense experts and even secret toxicologists, acquiring alongside his necessary housemaking skills an arsenal of talents to get ahead.
Through his hard work and manipulation of his surroundings, Barabas became the head butler at the unprecedented young age of 23 and attended to the lord of the house personally. Although he had always had an eye for the instinctual grabs at dominance and bids for personal gain in every day interaction, Barabas came to help his lord through such thick and thin that the will and sacrifice of the lord's decisions too many times baffled him and he developed a strong respect for the man. The lord would allow Barabas to entertain his search for knowledge, and in exchange he was as faithful as could be.
One day, as ancient custom would have it, the wolf lord saw fit to secede his position to his eldest son, who he had deemed stronger and more fit to rule, and so the lord moved on to a position in the Solgen military. The son was decadent and callous, wasting away resources on pompous parades of power and taking from his people when the treasurers came to him about it. For a time, relative peace remained in Solgen and the father was only away on military exercises, so Barabas would keep contact with him and beg for his return. The wolf lord would have none of it, and so Barabas held fast through discontent and conspiracy until the rebel faction took their stand. Receiving word that the wolf lord had died in a skirmish against the upstarts, Barabas waited until his lord's son was called to an audience with the king of Nasain and departed with the lordling and some retainers. After they all vanished into the wilderness, neither court investigator nor royal guard ever heard from them again. Barabas, invisible to the world, slipped away to find new gains in another land.
Personal goal: Barabas' primary goal is to attain knowledge, particularly that which can help him combat the greedy and spiteful courses of change around him. He sees everything as an exchange and always tries to maintain the most beneficial social position he can. However, his interests in personal gain don't extend beyond that and he sees no benefit in trying to climb the ladder of political or economic power.
Theme: (I will add one soon.)
There, I think this version is clearer and better. I'll just make the new post to highlight it rather than to also post that I've edited the older one.

"Oh, rebels are just making sure the military's not attacking the village," or something. Second, the information about Cade would pass through Sonja to the military. Other than "I don't want all the king's horses and all the king's men knowing yet," is there any reason for your plans that Leilah needs to go straight to Cade's house? And if so, how can she bump into Cai? Alright. If you actually want her to bump into Cai, than that's a different story. I thought you were just having her land in the village cause lol! Whatever. I'm sorry about that, and about last night. I was really tired, and had lost patience with my phone, so I snapped. I'm sorry for being a bad grumpy dragon. Anyway, the only thing I need is Caderyn's involvement with the rebels to be secret. So, now, the only question that remains is this: Can a naive, young Leilah keep the reason of her visit a secret from the Sage, a Heron who's practically psychic? Because that's really my main concern with your plan. If the Sage finds out Caderyn is thinking about aiding the rebels, then Cade might not have his position of Guardian for very long, and that opens a whole can of nothing that GX and I haven't planned for. GX would have to work out finding another Guardian, and I would have to edit quite a few of my future plans. As you can imagine, I really don't want to have to do that. If you only need Leilah to run into Cai, then I have something that could work. Leilah still lands near Cade's house, and after she visits him, Hal and Cai run into her while she's mounting her pegasus and getting ready to go. Hal would be going to get Cade for the tour, and Cai would be tagging along cause infatuation. Would that work? If not, I don't have a problem with the village scene, as long as the Sage remains unaware.
