I just realized that I mentioned how branded are treated, but not how laguz patents that lost their shifting ability are treated. Most laguz don't care, or just find them a bit odd. Older laguz in particular tend to just kinda shrug. A few laguz see it as a betrayal against all laguz kind, though - fortunately, they're in the vast minority.
Legends say that the curse stems from the first 10 gods resenting Selsen's creation, made to outshine their own. Some legends add that those who receive Solgen's blessing can be freed of the curse.

Maybe the phrase "Night Terrors" would be more appropriate. It's not the bad dreams kind, but the wake up in a puddle of your own sweat at three in the morning kind.

On a nightly basis. I've been having Night Terrors for years. Why do you think I have so much trouble sleeping? A simple nightmare would be a nice change of pace. Hence "Lol nightmares". That medication wouldn't change a thing. |
