Aldous continues to struggle, shaking his head under the boar's weight. "C'moooooon guys! Leone, Hecate?! Seriously, as much as I approve of two girls having a relationship upgrade, don't do it when your friend needs help!" Aldous complained. He glanced at the blood bearing his body. Oh lords...
"Reflection Magic: Aegis!" Aldous muttered. There was slight humming sound before a golden shield was erected in front of him. This stopped the toxic blood from touching his clothes or skin. Sighing in relief, Aldous glared at his twin. "You're a real bro, you know that?"
Atticus fixed his clothing. "That I do; that I do. Hecate, dear, could you please lift my brother from that boar before he loses his cool? Thank you." The calmer twin said. Hecate laughed. In reality, this gave her an excuse to move away from Leone. The proper elder woman had gotten too close for her comfort zone. "Hold on." Hecate mumbled, closing her eyes. She really needed to eat some more iron soon.
"Iron Dragon's Might: Titan Strength!" Hecate called out. Her legs turned into steel, and she reared her leg back, kicking the boar. It effortlessly flipped on its other side, although Hecate felt the pain reverberate through her legs. Aldous sighed as he got to his feet, then flashed a smile at her. "You know, there is something about a woman with super strength."
Hecate walked right pass him and headed towards the woods. Aldous sighed and shook his head. The rest of Alicorn Wing followed Hecate and Leone. They were finally going home to Harborshore Town.

As the group approached the guild hall, the doors swung open on its own. A woman with lavender hair wearing a pink-and-white tutu greets them, her arms crossed. Her face is impassive. "So. How many of you were poisoned?" she asked coldly. "None, Vallory!" Atticus answered. "...Oh. Really? Well, that's excellent news!" Vallory's expression softened significantly, and she tried to hide the vial of antivenom in her hand behind her back. "No problems, then?" "Hecate was incredible!" Leone announced. "She destroyed that monster before Aldous even got a slash in!" "Mmph. Yes, well. As I said. A woman that's both beautiful and deadly is-" Aldous begins. "Yes, yes, Aldous," Vallory shushed him. "Hurry in and the see the old man. He's been waiting for you." The group walked into the main hall. "Where is everyone?" Atticus asked absentmindedly. "Oh. We had some time-sensitive jobs pop up while you were gone and we ended up sending... everyone else," Vallory explained. "They'll be back in a few days. In the meantime, let's all just enjoy some nice, quiet time." "Man, quiet's no fun," an old man calls out from a chair in the center of the room. He was stretched out on a chair, a guitar slung across his lap. His graying hair is worn long and free, and his eyes are hidden behind sunglasses. He wears a plain white shirt with a light blue vest over it. "So, the big bad boar bit the big one?" "Basically," Atticus said. "Wait, is that a yes or a no?" the old man asked. "Er. Yes. Sorry, I was trying to think of another 'B' word," Atticus apologized. The man strummed a chord on his guitar, and various instruments hanging from the room erupted into a sudden fanfare.
Everyone looked around surprised. "Like it?" the old man asked. "I've been working on it the whole time you were gone." Vallory sighed. "Guild Master Sounders..." "Marsh," the old man answered. "Sorry. Harland. Was that really necessary?" "Is anything necessary, Val?" he retorted. "Eh. Anyway. So, Hecate, how was the first mission? Everything go OK? Get along with your team?"

"Um... Hecate? Don't you think that's oversimplifying things a bit?" Leone asked. "Shouldn't we mention the weird stuff?"
"Weird stuff?" Harland asked.
"Well, for one... that thing was huge! Much larger than a boar should ever be," Leone began. "But that's not the interesting part. After we injured it, it began to... um... how do I explain this?"
"Freak out?" Atticus suggested.
"It almost seemed to grow, and it began to radiate this vile aura," Aldous explains.
"And when it roared at us - not something a boar normally does, correct? - it almost felt like... it was almost as if it was using some kind of wind or sonic magic," Leone concludes.
"You didn't try to memorize it, did you?" Harland asked.
"No, I decided to counteract it with a musical performance instead," Leone answered.
"Well, it probably wouldn't have worked, anyway," Harland shrugged. "If it was even using magic, and not just, I dunno, super-big lungs or something."
"We'll make sure to mention that... 'aura' to the council and see if anyone else has encountered something similar," Vallory promised. "Now, it's late, so clean yourselves up, then off to bed, the lot of you. Run along."
"Yes, mom," Leone, Atticus, and Aldous replied in concert. Vallory closed her eyes and sighed at their response.

A loud trumpeting rings throughout Alicorn Wing's guild hall. A signal to gather in the main hall, but not the emergency cadence.
"A job's probably come in, then," Leone thinks to herself as she rises from bed and starts stretching. She walks over to her trunk and pops it open. "Oh, what to wear, what to wear... Combat gear, just in case, I suppose." She lays out a simple, pale blue shirt and a flowing white skirt, as well as a nice, sturdy pair of boots, and of course her choker and rapier. After changing, she spends a few moments on a quick makeup job, grabs her brush, and walks out the door and down the stairs, still fixing her hair.
Aldous is already in the main hall when she arrives, already smartly dressed and cleanly shaven, ready to go. Atticus suddenly phases through the ceiling, dropping straight onto a waiting couch.
"I've told you a thousand times not to pass through the floor!" Vallory reprimands him. "What if someone's walking below you? Or we moved the couch for something?"
"It's not that big of a fall..." Atticus whines, a comb in his hand. He looks like he might have put on his clothes with phase magic as well, just passing through his trunk and seeing what ended up where... But his hair will be immaculate before he's through. He's the only one Leone knows that spends more time on hair than she does.
"Did a mission arrive?" Leone asks, taking a seat next to Atticus.
"A nice one, at that. Soon as Hecate's here, we'll run through the details," Harland says.

"Excellent, excellent!" Leone assures Hecate, patting the hand Hecate placed on her shoulder.
"I don't have a reason not to accept," Atticus shrugs. "Besides, I hear Rosebud is beautiful this time of year. Er... When it's not... y'know... smashed up..."
"As for me, if the lovely Hecate is going, I most assuredly must follow!" Aldous announces cheerfully, throwing an arm across Hecate's shoulders.
"If you'll excuse me..." Leone says. "I'm off for some combat training before breakfast. Atticus, be sure to clean up your brother's remains before I return, if you would be so kind." Without waiting for permission, Leone stood up and strolled towards the front door.

Hecate shook her head at Aldous, removing his arm. "That's enough flirting out of you. I'm taken." She said with a grin, and then proceeded to walk off before anyone could question this. She trailed after Leone, and hoped the others wouldn't take the joke seriously.
She was certain she saw the stunned and confused look on Aldous' face before she left. Heh heh. She didn't know why she was following Leone anyway. But they clearly had some dark secrets in their closet. Usually Hecate didn't go out of her way to talk to her fellow homosapiens.
Once she was sure she had caught up to Leone, Hefate paused. "Something on your mind?"

The next few days were not very eventful in Hecate's opinion. It was basically waiting for the quest date to come closer and closer. And finally it did come. Hecate got dressed in her usual fashion that morning, stepping downstairs.
She seemed to be the only one there... At least until Atticus phased through the wall. "Morning, Hecate." The twin mumbled, getting ready to make himself something to eat. He was followed by Aldous not long after. "Odd. Leone isn't up yet." He yawned.

Leone spent the next three days attempting to master her new Ghost Sword spell. It was finally starting to be relatively convincing. The trick was knowing how much light to reflect and how much to phase through. Shadows make it much trickier, so she spent a lot of time wandering through town trying to adjust to changing light conditions. Turns out some of the townspeople were less than appreciative of having a nearly-invisible woman skulking around, and the guild got a few complaints, but there were no major incidents. The hatch to the training room suddenly snaps open. Vallory emerges first, carrying a large, empty pot that smells of very strong coffee. Leone emerges right behind her, carrying a small tray with a pair of fancy cups. Her normal field gear is replaced with a frilly, light-blue dress with white trim and frilled shoulders and a wide waist, complete with tall stockings and matching high heels. Her hair has been tamed to lie completely flat, even despite the early-morning warm-up. As always, her red choker is tied around her neck and her rapier on her hip, and a pair of dangling earrings complete the outfit.
"Oh? You're all up?" Vallory asks. "Wonderful. I was just coming to wake you and start breakfast. You'll all want to eat before heading out, I'm sure."
Breakfast ends with just a few moments before the VIP was due to arrive. Leone spends the time fiddling with her outfit, her hair, her accessories, her gear, the pack containing her field gear, Aldous' hair, Hecate's outfit, Hecate's hair - stop biting your fingers! - Atticus'... Well, Leone abandoned Atticus as a lost cause.
At 4AM sharp, there's a series of short, sharp knocks on the door. Vallory answers the door. A tall woman is waiting in a tight-fitting white shirt and grey jacket and a matching, form-fitting skirt. Dark brown panty hose and black heels minimize her exposed skin. She has blonde hair in a bundle of curls, tightly framing her face. Her blue eyes scan the area impassively, and her face is a mask of neutrality. She's surrounded by several men in armor. One of the armored men salutes Vallory. "We've delivered the VIP. Please acknowledge that she's now in your care."
"We have indeed received her," Vallory announces, eyeing the woman. The warrior salutes, then turns and marches off. His men follow suite. Vallory gives the woman a small bow. "Please, enter, Mrs. Marian Vallast."
"Thank you," the woman answers in an airy voice. "Ms. Vallory Marsh, I assume?"
"Of course. I will be receiving you on behalf of Guild Master Sounders. He's... preoccupied. Something important, I'm sure," Vallory answers.
"I'm sure," Marian says. "...he's still asleep," her tone adds. She steps in, her gait itself exuding an air of confidence.
Leone is the first to greet her. "Mrs. Vallast," she says, giving a deep curtsy.

Before anyone else can greet Marian, she raises her hand for silence. "Please, forgo the formalities for now. The ship, Mermaid's Folly, will set sail at exactly 5AM. Knowing that captain, a few moments before. I wish to ensure we're on-board before she embarks."
"Very well, then." Vallory adjusts a stray hair. "Alicorn Wing, your mission is to escort Mrs. Marian Vallast safely to Rosebud by way of sea, onboard Mermaid's Folly. There will be no problems, I'm sure, but I expect you to remain vigilant. On your way, then."
It's a short jog to the docks from Alicorn Wing's guild hall, and Marian sets a quick pace, marching along the road with authority, despite the odd hour and the thick fog. Hecate and Leone take either side of her, with Atticus and Aldous trailing a bit behind. No one dares break the near-silence interrupted only by the rhythmic clicking of shoes on street.
The ship comes into view quickly. It's not exactly easy to miss, being the largest ship currently in port. A metal monstrosity, complete with a sizable, rotating cannon, it looks more like a small warship than a trading vessel. A rather lewd picture of a mermaid is painted on the side, barely poking out of the water, right beneath "MERMAID'S FOLLY" written in bright red.
The white-haired captain greets the group at the bottom of the gangplank, bowing deeply and removing his hat. "Madame Vallast. Welcome aboard my humble vessel. A cabin has been prepared for you on the second level, and breakfast is waiting." He's wearing a very formal-looking suit, covered in polished buttons and medals.
"Captain Rallos. It's been far too long. We simply must catch up," Marian answers.
"Of course, ma'am. I've a fine scotch I've been saving for a special occasion. After we're in the open sea, I'll stop by your cabin for a spell." the captain promises.
"'Ma'am,' 'Madame Vallast.' I think we're beyond that at this point, Ian. You've been in our employ for... hm. My, longer than I've been married. It's 'Marian' to you, Dear," Marian says candidly.
"Marian it is, then. Well then, shall we be off? The cargo's loaded, so we'll set off as soon as you're ready," Ian suggests.
"Of course," Marian says. "I'll retire to my cabin to rest for a while - it's been a long journey. As for you..." she turns to the Alicorn Wing members and thinks for a moment.
Finally, Marian points to Atticus. "You. You stand guard outside my cabin." "Where the least people will see you," her tone suggests. "As for the rest of you, patrol the ship however you see fit. Make your presence known."
Without waiting for a response, she turns and begins up the gangplank. "Of course, Madame Vallast," Leone calls after her, her voice cheerful and friendly. "Permission to come aboard, Captain Rallos?"
"Granted," he says tersely. "Just you kids keep out of my crew's way. Once we're out to sea, strut about however you like, but keep to the upper deck while we're setting out."
The crew of the Mermaid's Folly handle themselves expertly, preparing the ship to launch in a matter of minutes. The ship steams out of port nearly half an hour ahead of schedule. The shore soon fades into the distance as the large ship moves beyond the sandbars into open ocean and deep waters. The waves are particularly small today, not that a ship the size of the Mermaid's Folly would notice a few large waves.
The sun comes up over the open water, with nothing but water and sky as far as the eye can see. Leone keeps to the upper deck. The cannon on the main deck is quite impressive... and perhaps a bit overkill for a merchant vessel. "You never know what you'll come across out here!" a sailor tells her, as if reading her mind.
She considers taking a trip to the crow's nest, but... not in this outfit. Four hours into the voyage, Leone stops by the bridge to observe their operations and make sure everything is going smoothly.

Atticus stood guard at the VIP's door, priding himself for having been chosen. It should have wen obvious to Aldous that his twin was simply more handsome than him, and that's why the VIP had chosen him to guard her door. Atticus laughed to himself quietly, which may or may not have been the wisest move... As some people aboard tossed him odd and frightened looks. ------- As for Aldous, he was making his rounds around the ship with Hecate. When he went north, she would go south, and it ended up like a circle as they made their way around the entire ship. They crossed paths countless times, yet neither said anything to each other. Hecate was considering that she probably shouldn't have brought her normal attire, but she didn't really own anything fancy like Leone.
Hecate narrowed her eyes. As long as she was in the guild, her fears were taken care of. And even if she didn't trust any of them to watch her back—as evidenced when she would look behind her when Aldous passed her—she was still somewhat dependent on them. And the last person she had depended on.... Well, they had vanished without a word, so she wasn't going to make an effort to get close to any of them.
If they learned anymore than necessary, they would probably do the same. And she wasn't about to have that happen to her again. She looked at the sharp edge of her fan. Well, there was only one solution if it happened again.

Atticus knocks frantically on Marian's door. "Lady Marian?! We're being attacked! I'll need you to stay inside your room for the time being!" He called through the door. ----- Hecate and Aldous would have launched into action, but they decided against it after seeing Leone take care of it. "Focus on the tentacle... The one that is small." Hecate ordered, drawing her fan. After a quick muttering of words, she flicked her wrist, iron needles springing forth and penetrating the tough, rubbery skin of the tentacle.
Aldous followed suit, but at a distance, focusing on reflecting anything that might damage the ship.

Aldous draws his silver sword, charging at the small tentacle they currently face. While Hecate's needles had pierced the flesh, it didn't seem to do much. Aldous slashed to the left, but was quickly backhanded by the tentacle, crashing into the deck. The tentacle raised again to slam down on his fallen frame, yet Hecate refused to let that happen.
Opening her mouth, and already having said the words, the woman fired a beam of iron at the tentacle, managing to destroy a piece of it. Hecate swore as she rolled to the side, avoiding the splatter of black blood. ... An abnormality.
"Aldous!" She called. Forty antler, Aldous had escape the splatter as well, a calm expression on his face. "Worried? Don't be, I know what we're facing." He said calmly, mindful of where he stepped. Hecate resolved to not use any attacks unless the tentacles were out of range from the ship. This would be dangerous to clean up later.
Yet another tentacle swing around widely, and this time Aldous sliced. He was carried into the air, but muttered a quick spell to summon a shield that he landed on seconds later. The tentacle came back, and Aldous repeated his actions, watching the tentacle rebound off the strong shield.
Hecate leapt with a boost, slicing at one tentacle before grabbing onto it, spinning, and then landing back on the deck safely. "My fan isn't working." She scowled, noticing it had made a cut, but not enough to remove the menacing thing. It was Aldous' turn to leap, and this time he sliced down on said thing, cutting it, and quickly setting up a shield to reflect the toxic blood into the sea.
He felt a little bad for the sea life, but otherwise didn't make an expression. "Let's hit the smaller ones." He said, watching two more tentacles rise from the depths. It was on now. ------ Atticus stared down Marianne with a look of disbelief. "I hate to break it to you, but there's a kraken attacking us... Right now. A very dangerous one that isn't normal. Have you ever heard of an abnormality? If so, that's exactly what it is. If I was trying to kill you, I would have wrapped my whip around your throat and did so right now." He admitted nonchalantly, glancing at the chaos.
"Might need to wipe the deck later." He added.

Hecate scrambled over. "What do you need?" She asked, oddly composed despite the situation. Aldous rolled away from another tentacle smash, fending it off in the background. ----- Atticus sighed and turned. "Why are all the beautiful women so stuck up?" He lamented before heading over to Aldous. He tossed his whip forward just in time to stop another tentacle from hitting his twin from behind.
It wrapped around the tentacle, and Atticus yanked.

With his left hand, Sigurt points at the pair of tentacles hovering just overhead, ready to slam down. With his right hand, he pulls out and starts to load another shell. "Just keep 'em off me a bit longer, young lady." Leone rushes back up the stairs. The smaller tentacles are still slamming the general area where she dropped through the floor, as if searching for her. "It can't see, of course! It can only follow trajectories!" She figures that if she doesn't attack, she has at least a few seconds before they abandon their search and return to picking off the sailors.
The rear tentacle's starting to look pretty damaged with several holes torn open in the outer flesh, and entire chunks of rent muscles spread across the deck. More and more sailors keep arriving, some bringing better equipment for the ones already hacking at the massive tentacle, some dragging the wounded belowdecks. Fork Man continues his valiant efforts with naught but his dining untensil. "I hope the others are having as much success as we are," Leone thinks to herself.
As Leone spots a large hole in the tentacle carved by an industrious sailor with a large axe, an idea forms in her mind. "Amplify Echo!" she calls out, a sphere forming on the tip of her blade. Atticus' pull diverted the tentacle just enough to miss his brother. It slams down right behind Aldous with enough force to cause him to bounce slightly. The tentacle yanks back against the leash, almost indignantly.

"Woaaaaah!" Atticus exclaims, being lifted in the air. He tries to unwrap the whip from the tentacle with little success as he is swing about fiercely. Aldous sighs before focusing on another shield to block another tentacle.
The whip finally comes loose, and Atticus is tossed high into the sky. For a moment, it's fun; for a moment, it really isn't fun as gravity takes hold. The usually indifferent Atticus screams as he comes soaring down from the sky, whip in hand.
A shield appears before him... Just as his face crashes into it. "O-ow..." He moans. ---- Hecate nodded. She had a trick she wanted to try out. Whispering a spell, her entire hand transformed into a massive iron claw. Just as the tentacle came down on Sigurt, she leapt, squeezing the tentacle with the iron claw. Twisting in mid air, she changed its direction before hanging down on it, slowly causing it to bend backwards. Lifting herself up on the more flesh-like underside, she grinned sadistically, as she jumped downwards, her weight sending the tentacle to... Smash the head of the kraken.
For a time, Hecate did not resurface.

Leone tries to catch Hecate, but she's... much heavier than she looks. The best Leone can do is stop her from slamming into the ground too hard. With Atticus and Aldous helping, Leone drags the unconscious Hecate down to the sickbay. There's quite a line of people waiting to get in, with all sorts of injuries ranging from dislocated limbs to poisoning from the kraken's blood. Fortunately, the line moves quickly as those with poisoning are all herded up and stuffed in a small room for quarantine. "We don't have much antitoxin on the ship," the medical officer explains. "So you're all going to have to tough it out a few hours until we reach port."
A nurse helps get Hecate into a bed and the doctor comes around shortly. "Mage?" he asks.
"Ye-" Leone begins to explain.
"Dragon slayer?"
"How di-"
"She's hungry. Let her rest, give her some whatever-she-was-throwing-around earlier when she wakes up. And get her out of those wet clothes. Next!"
"But-" But the doctor is gone, already looking at a patient with a large gash on his arm.
"It's fine, dear," a nurse tells Leone and the brothers as she brings out a spare sailor's uniform. The nurse pulls the curtain around the bed shut, then forcibly shoves the brothers out. "Give me a hand with this?" she asks.
"I... um... I don't think that's a good idea," Leone stammers. "I... need to go gather my clothing. Yes, um... this floor's very cold. And I don't want it to blow away or get stolen or... Um... Yes, sorry, excuse me."
Leone slips out from behind the curtain a bit flustered. "Um... The nurse needs a hand changing her," she tells the brothers. "Fight over it or something. Whoever's not helping, meet me at Mrs. Vallast's room in a few moments."
Without waiting for a response, Leone heads to the upper deck to retrieve her lost clothing. One of the stockings is a lost cause, and the other seems to have blown overboard, but she's able to recover her shoes and the bottom of her dress. "Glad I brought a change of clothes," she thinks to herself. "I'll change later. First, off to speak with..."
Leone sighs, then heads to Marian's cabin.

Atticus glanced at Aldous, and the two share a look. "Leone's acting weird. It's just changing some clothes. Heh heh... Then again, this is a chance to see a girl without her clothes on. Count me in!" Atticus reaches for the door, but Aldous grabs his hand, exasperation in his eyes, but otherwise not shown.
"With that look? No. Go and follow Leone. This isn't the time for your games, Atticus. This is one of our friends. I'd appreciate if you could take this seriously." Aldous stated firmly before opening the door and stepping inside.
Atticus stood there, dumbfounded for a time. Then... "...He's right." He muttered dejectedly before turning on his heel and following after Leone. He was placed in a somber mood for now... And the words did hit home.
"Hey." He said to Leone, a troubled look in his eyes for the moment. ---------- Aldous steps inside, closing the door. The nurse seemed as if she was about to object to this until Aldous flashes her a charming smile. "Don't worry, I'm the more mature brother. What do you need me to get?" He asked smoothly.
The nurse points to a gown and a few towels. "I need you to get that gown, and go get me a few more towels. Those are all used... And it isn't healthy to use on patients. Thank you." She smiles in return before closing the curtain.
Aldous steps over to the hospital-like gown and hands it over, averting his eyes as the nurse has already gotten to work with removing Hectare's torso wear. "Towels are on the rack to the right." The nurse calls from behind the curtain.
Aldous retrieves it, once more averting his eyes as he waits patiently. After a few moments the curtains open. The nurse steps out. "Can you tell me what type of Dragon Slayer she is?" She asked sweetly.
Aldous thinks for a moment. "Iron Dragon Slayer... I believe. That's always what I see her using. I'll assume she didn't eat any iron before we left.." He trailed off, taking a seat.
"Iron... Iron. Hm. That's odd. I saw something that looked like the outline of a dragon a few weeks ago. It was quite some time ago in a town I can't remember." The nurse replied conversationally.
Aldous arched his eyebrows. "Really now? Heh. Maybe it's Hecate's mother?" He joked dryly. The nurse cracked a smile. "You're a funny one, aren't you?"
"I can when I want to be... Which seems to be happening when I'm around you."
"I'm getting a real playboy vibe from you." The nurse chuckled.
"Really? That's too bad." Aldous sighed. There was silence in the room before the name stepped out.
"Don't try anything."
Aldous shook his head as the door closed. "More successful than the last girl I tried that on. Nice." He casted a look at the sleeping Hecate. Mysterious...
"You know, Hecate, I wonder if you're hiding stuff from us? Granted, you can't hear me, but man, when you first stepped into the guild and mentioned your magic type, we thought you were joking; but after seeing what you did to that boar, and now this kraken, you're really something." He said.
Then, after an afterthought. "You better be back in top condition after this. I need to laugh at something when you ignore Atticus and his advances." He chuckled quietly. There was no response, and he expected that.

The rest of the voyage passed uneventfully. The worst that happened was a seagull snatching a sandwich from a hungry sailor. Captain Rallos easily guided the damaged ship into the port just as noon strikes.
"I'll see to it that enough antitoxin is sent to the sickbay immediately," Marian promises Rallos.
"Thanks for that, Mrs. V- Marian," Rallos says.
"Think nothing of it. It simply wouldn't do for an employee to die of something so easily preventable. The company will cover the expenses, of course," Marian tells him. "Ah, yes. Would you call for my escorts to assemble in the bridge, please?"
"Of course," Rallos says, picking up the speaker. "Alicorn Wing, you're needed on the bridge." Marian addresses the four mages. "Your contract is complete. As per the agreement, a small bonus of 200 sovereign will be added to Alicorn Wing's payment. Additionally, once unloading is complete, Captain Rallos will return you to Harborshore Town, unless you wish to make alternate arrangements. Naturally, beds and dinner will be provided. However, be aware the ship will leave at 7PM promptly - which, based on Ian's track record, means it will leave around 6PM... At any rate."
She walks along in front of them. She stops in front of Aldous. "You performed admirably." She steps in front of Atticus, pauses, then walks on to Hecate without saying anything. "Your manners could use some polish, but you've definitely got promise as a mage. Perhaps you'd consider a position at the Vallast Trading Company? I'm certain we could find a decent bodyguard position for you babysitting some member of middle-management, with room for promotion."

Hecate manages a light smile and repeat of actions she had seen Leone do: a quick curtsy. "Your offer is good Mrs. Vallast, but I have people here in this guild that... I like, so I'll have to decline.your offer,"She said politely.
As she said this, her eyes travelled to Leone, Aldous, and then Atticus. She smiled at them before turning her attention back to her target. "But thank you for your hospitality."

"Have fun of course!" Atticus exclaims, his smile returning now that Marian is gone. "We could do a few fun activities... Maybe see what's the situation here. Explore, you onow, do other things?" He suggests.
Hecate purses her lips. "I'm going to agree with Atticus for once. We should see what there is to do around here, and then do it. We might have some guild quests stocked up when we return... And some of us need to get our minds off... Bad memories, no?"
Aldous silently agreed by nodding, and then checked his watch. There was plenty of time to do things before they had to return.
"What do you think?" Hecate asked Leone again.
