Cenric's telepathy isn't always the easiest thing for him to control. And he can't read emotions, only thoughts. He's a telepath, not an empath. So unless someone was actively thinking of hurting someone, he wouldn't be able to tell. But he has good intuition, and he can instantly teleport at will over large distances. So, if someone was oddly insistent about separating him from Eden, like Leone being weirdly insistent about Eden accompanying her to the Ladies Room, then Cenric would immediately teleport Eden away. And go get Zalia. Who would then determine if it's a big misunderstanding, or if there's going to be a new human smear on the pavement.

Cenric would read her thoughts first, then. And if he comes away bright red, then there's not an issue. If he has trouble reading her intentions, then it's teleportation time.

Ah, crap, I shouldn't have said that. Er, we'll stick with abandonment issues then. It's not exactly a thing that happens often. I guess an example would be this: Everyone in AW decides to turn their back on her for [insert reason] here. That's when she stops being Hecate and becomes the shell. But I don't think it's possible for that situation to happen! So we'll just stick with abandonment problems! Problem solved! Eh? Eh?! |

The only way you can rewrite time is through a fictional world. I'm glad to hear that you've improved. Verse wouldn't be the same if we were missing at least one member from the usual crew. |
