I'm sorry for insulting your character because I was upset by your callousness regarding previously established culture.

Boys... Why are you both being so stubborn...?

Golurk, you can come off as arrogant sometimes too. You said something the rubbed Fen the wrong way, so he retaliated, and then you got offended too. That's just how simple this situation is. You're still supposed to be working on thinking about what you say so you don't come off as arrogant, aren't you? Let's work on that now.

What really needs to happen is for both parties to acknowledge the role they played in this, apologize, then accept the apologies and move on, working together a little better and learning a little something from this experience. No one really meant to be mean-hearted here. There wasn't malicious intent here. Golurk didn't mean to offend Fen, and Fen was just trying to defend himself and his character. No one wanted to cause any harm here. That's why it's important to understand that and apologize, so everyone can move on instead of getting hurt and letting a wound fester.

I'm not going to scold you guys or force you to do any of this, but I believe that you're both more than mature enough to know that this is the right route, and with that same maturity you both know in your hearts that you should clear the air. I believe for those same reasons you'll want to do this on your own.

I overreacted as well. I think it'd be better to expakin why I overreacted. See, I had designed two types of magic in my CYOA, and I had a reader who used them in his CYOA, and didn't acknowledge that I had made them. Literally use the same name, and someone else came along and thought they belonged to him. It doesn't help said perpetrator was a close friend, didn't give credit, and I feel betrayed. But I won't say anything to him about it.

So, when you came and said Pergrande names are supposed to slavic(But I thought CDM said Harborshire was in Southern Aselia a few posts ago?), I thought you were specifically targeting my character, so I got annoyed and remarked that "it's a good thing I don't care about naming customs".

If I look at it, it started because I was previously annoyed and not thinking of what I was saying. But I do admire your tenacity for keeping naming customs in canon. It rivals my tenacity to get everything historically correct when in writing characters in certain time periods.

So, I'm genuinely sorry for overreacting.

I was actually going to change that and her last name before I sent the PM to Neo, but I forgot this was a wizards setting, and I didn't think it affected anything since I was piecing together name meanings, and got "Far of heart" and such.

No, it probably would be best if changed it. Hecate's parents named her, but Ironca did rename her. I'll repost Hecate's bio with a side name now that I think about it.

EDIT: Would you object to the name Agnes? It means lamb, and considering her backstory and a dragon...
