I think I'm going to show a scene or two from Eden's past before she wakes up, but I can't promise I'll have finished them and posted them before the end of tonight, so... Hey, at least you guys have plenty of time to plan...! ...right?

That's what I've been thinking about. Do we want 1v1 battles between individual members? And if so, who? Or do we want to try something more original and unique?
I was kinda thinking maybe something like a naval raid from the Sea. Like Aboleth Tentacle has their own massive pirate ship and they start bombarding the city with canons in order to draw out Zalia. Zalia then attacks in all her rage, but Abyss somehow manages to drain her powers. Zalia still forces Abyss to retreat, but that was just a distraction, and the other Aboleth members approach from land. It works with Abyss's whole "Davy Jones" vibe he's got going on.
Also, maybe we should take this to the PM thread...

I actually wasn't even thinking about Phantom Lord. Didn't even see the connection.  What lake are you talking about? Silver Chimera is located in the southernmost port town in Aselia. It's literally right on the ocean. And Pergrande has plenty of ports. |

Abyss wouldn't have a method to drain Zalia's powers though. None of the Aboleth members would, on their own. And Zalia would easily obliterate them before they could even try, hence why some form of distraction is necessary. Abyss has been collecting special artifacts, right? What if one of those artifacts contains a special form of Nullification magic, similar to the magic used to nullify Makarov's magic power in the Phantom Lord arc? |

Because that wouldn't really fit in-story, nor would it fit with her character. Both the Council and Auron can contact her via Thought Projection and Lacrima, and if she thinks her Guild is even in the slightest danger of being attacked, she isn't going to leave. She's also retired from everything, and the monthly Guild Master meeting isn't scheduled to happen for a while. Nor would she go even if it were, if she thinks her Guild could be in danger.
You're going to have to settle for some similarities to Phantom Lord, Golurk.

I for one support any and all activities that involve one or more of the following: Eden punching Orion, Eden stabbing Orion, Eden maiming Orion, Eden poking Orion in the eye, Eden rejecting Orion's advances, and Eden kicking him where it hurts.
