If warrior is the same in FT just like it is in most RPGs (combat orientated) then I would go Warrior. If Mage, Thief, Warrior have a different meaning then I guess a basic explanation before I make a decision All three(Warrior, Wizard, Thief) can be either combat or support oriented. Generally speaking though, Wizards usually possess the most overall destructive power, as they can use Caster Magic(Natural magic from within the Wizard). Warriors and Thieves have to rely on Holder Magic(Magical artifacts). Warriors can forge normal weapons and armor, but to create special weapons or other things, they have to use Holder Magic to do so. X, there is no Artifact that allows you to create Golems, but enchanting weapons and armor would be simple for a trained Warrior, Thief, OR Wizard. But if you want to be able to do something more fancy than simple enchanting, you'll have to be a Wizard. And you'll need a new Ancient Magic, which I'll have to think on.

So where are we all starting?

*pokes* So where are we all starting? (We should totally have a Silver Chimera vs Aboleth Tentacle fight for the first arc) Well, I was already planning to have a Dark Guild fight for the first arc, and I kinda already decided on the Dark Guild in question, but I'm open to change. The Dark Guild fight won't begin immediately though. We'll have some time for character development and questing before it, just like in the anime.

I just need Grigori to have something to do, but he could be acting as a spy of sorts during that time.
Don't want to end up Dragoning

Some more info.
Timeline
X663- X673
The RP begins in the year X663, 23 years before Fairy Tail is founded, and ends in the year X673 with the defeat of Khaos and birth of Mavis Vermilion. There will be a few scenes in the Epilogue that take place in later years, but officially, the RP's timeline ends in X673.
Monetary Units
Pergrande Kingdom: Crowns Fiore: Jewels Aselia: Sovereigns
For comparison purposes, 100 Jewels is approximately $1 USD. The Crown and Sovereign have the same value, and both are approximately equal to one US dollar. For the purposes of the RP, more is better, essentially.
Both Sovereigns and Crowns are accepted in the Empire and in Pergrande. When traveling to Fiore, however, you have to exchange your currency for Jewels at a local bank. For a small fee, of course.
I will add info about the other nations on the Peninsula, if we end up going to them in the RP. As of now, the RP will only take place in Aselia, Pergrande, Fiore, Edolas, and Spoiler.

Guild Masters
Silver Chimera: Zalia Grave, female, age 63.
Appearance: Tall, slender, with long gray hair, elegant features, and sharp, hawk-like brown eyes. She wears her hair in a bun at the back of her head, tied with a silver ribbon, with two long bangs of hair left framing either side of her face. Around the Guild Hall, she wears a sleeveless silver shirt and simple brown pants. When traveling, she adopts a violet cloak and carries a black, seemingly burnt oak staff. Her Guild Emblem is located on her left bicep, and she has a long scar down the center of her back, though anyone rarely sees it.
Personality: Gruff, and often blunt, she isn't one to pull her punches.... Be they verbal or physical. She says what she thinks, and means what she says, and cares little for the opinion of others. However, the reputation of the Guild is important to her, and she considers all the members to be her family. She is fiercely protective of her family, Guild, and town, and values loyalty and respect highly. She has, in fact, been known to bonk her "grandchildren" on their heads whenever they're disrespectful to each other, and is infamously fond of the saying, "Respect is earned. Now go get the broom and sweep."
She has an almost supernatural ability to hold her liquor, and a strong love for drink to match. She hates crowds, politicians, and talking about her past.
Background: Zalia's past is largely a mystery. It is said she was once one of the Four Keys of Solomon, the four most powerful Wizards in all of Aselia, though whether that is true remains to be seen. She is the Second Guild Master of Silver Chimera, and her father, the famous Wizard Algernon Grave, was the Guild's founder. She had two children, both of whom died under unknown circumstances, and one grandson- A former member of Silver Chimera in his own right- whose current whereabouts are unknown. No one knows what happened to her husband, save her, but she is adamant that she's not a widow; calling her one usually results in a swift bonk to the head. However, despite the loss of her blood family, she maintains she is not sad and that the Guild is her family.
Magic Type: She rarely fights, and as such, her magic is mostly unknown to the Guild. However, she has been seen using Transformation Magic from time to time.

Oh, and Golurk, are you going to create the Guild Master for Aboleth Tentacle and write for him/her?

Being an independent Guild is a lot more difficult in Aselia, as the Empire is much larger and more organized than Fiore, and Aselia's High Council has much more power and influence than Fiore's Magic Council. Also, Crime Sorcerie is a special case, cause Jellal.

So whaddya think of Zalia, GX? Also, how many members do you think we should have in Silver Chimera? I like her. I think she'll be a great guildmaster and help keep the guild united. As for how many members, I have no clue what constitutes a small guild in FT. I was picturing around 20 members in my head, but that's just my head canon which has many holes in it at this point.

Hrm... I want to put a link to a couple of the Phantom Lord episodes, so people who haven't seen the anime have a reference for starting power levels, but the only site I use is kinda ad heavy... GX, you still don't have Adblock, do you?

I sent her the link to Natsu vs Gajeel. That's probably one of the better fights for power levels. Plus, I remember it being better than most of the fights in that arc, maybe save for Gray vs Juvia.
