I'd volunteer, but I struggle to write for Gareth as-is.
I'm of the opinion that Fennie already made his choice and we should respect and accept it instead of clinging onto hope that might not lead to anything, but that's probably because I'm a cynical SOB. That said, I wouldn't mind being wrong.

You're spread thin enough, Neo. Which is another reason I'm hesitant to pick up Hecate, but I will if it comes to that. That or kill her if everyone else wants to go the circuitous route.

Neo, Emmpy's right. He ain't coming back. And if he does, it'll probably be months down the line when he's bored during summer break or something. And I know I'm being bipolar about this, but I'm upset and torn between wanting to delude myself and trying to be an effective writer, G*****nit.

Your writing style wouldn't fit how Hecate was, imo, Neo Nor would quite a few people's, actually Oddly enough, Golurk is one of the ones I could see writing Hecate somewhat accurately with his style, though I know less about whether it'd be natural for him to do so Trying to replicate Fennie's style is a horrible idea, IMO. Better to just redefine the character as needed than write in someone else's shadow. |

I'm not saying to do it to an extent of "stoic and serious character becoming a smiling goofball", I mean keep the general idea, but take liberties so that writing for them won't feel like a chore or like you're trying to work with only hints of someone else's idea. Trust me, I had to adopt one of Osranger's characters in Nova, and I still feel like I'm doing/going to do a subpar job with them. |
