Not all Dragon Slayers get motion sickness. That was just Natsu's thing, and then the Devs were all like, "let's make the other Dragon Slayers get motion sick too cause Lol comedy!" Yeah. Definitely not canon, and especially not in my RP. I'm starting to think you reject reality too much. No I don't. And since you haven't even watched Fairy Tail, you're in no position to tell me I do. |

I mean Natsu, Laxus, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, Rouge, Not sure about Cobra but probably him too, pretty much all Dragon Slayers in the series have motion sickness except when flying with cats or dragons. It seems solidified as canon. Maybe it's caused by their dragon anit-bodies or whatever gives them heightened senses.

And Gajeel voiced my opinion of"Wjy am i getting motion sick?" Because only Natsu was affected by it prior. But the Devs decided to do some strange retconny thing and give it to assumably all dragon slayers. It's stupid. That's supposed to be one if Natsu's recognizable traits. It should not apply to everyone magically because the Drvs decide they want it to. |

The Devs just decided to randomly retcon it with no in-story explanation whatsoever, just for the "Lol comedy". They even stated before, in the so called "canon", before they retconned it, that the motion sickness was unique to Natsu. I like my stories to actually make sense. I like them to be fluid. Unlike the FT Devs, I am an actual writer. So no, I will not be coming up with some random contrived reason for all Dragon Slayers to have motion sickness. If you want a character of yours to have motion sickness, Smexy, that's your call. But none of my Dragon Slayers will be subject to the Devs' stupid writing. Because I'm better than that. |

I think they justified it by having Natsu say that they "had finally become real Dragonslayers".
What about Sting and the other guy? Didn't they have motion sickness as well?

I like Mashima's writing.
But back to the point, I didn't really want to give my slayer not that Fate is a dragon slayer anyway motion sickness, I was just wondering what the canon was. Good to know what we're going with.

That wasn't really comedy; that was just making fun of tentacles and such in anime. Cliches or tropes that appear all the time. The moe, the oujou(snobby rich girl/guy, or just rich guy/girl that's always popular), the loser(probably can be found in all sorts of shows and literature), etc. Or to be more specific on the tentacle fetish, how there's always something similar copping a feel on the innocent girl. It's something I don't really understand, or who created it. But I respect it, I guess. Not really my culture. |
