Architecture? Is it just a transport hub city, or also a trade city? How big? How many people? Rich? Poor? How's the nightlife? Is it safe? Well-lit? Busy, quiet, peaceful? Full of hustlers or good honest workers? Lots of stores or lots of houses? Is it sectioned off or mixed up? And anything you can tell me about the library we're going to.

Architecture? Is it just a transport hub city, or also a trade city? How big? How many people? Rich? Poor? How's the nightlife? Is it safe? Well-lit? Busy, quiet, peaceful? Full of hustlers or good honest workers? Lots of stores or lots of houses? Is it sectioned off or mixed up? And anything you can tell me about the library we're going to. *Sighs* Architecture is very modern. Stone, brick, glass, etc. Ambrosia is the second largest city in all of Aselia, surpassed only by the Imperial Capital. It is very large, and the city is shaped like a sphere, with giant concrete walls surrounding the city. Fairly large roads(Not quite highways, but close) lead to and from the city in all directions. The city has five massive gates. North Gate, South Gate, West Gate, East Gate, and the Express Gate, which is only used by the Imperial Express. Outgoing and Incoming trains enter/exit through the Express Gate, so it is wide enough to easily fit two trains side by side. The Express Gate is located on the northern side of the city, near the North Gate. Ambrosia is primarily a merchant city and transport hub. The city is split into four districts: The Shopping District(All shops and markets, minus Inns and Taverns), Residential District(Non government homes, Inns, Taverns), Commercial District(Businesses, like Legal Offices, Merchant Companies, etc, and most of the Guilds), and the Government District(The Governor's Mansion, the High Council's office, Imperial Army Southern HQ, Silver Hand Southern Branch, City Commissioner's office and People's Board, all of their homes, etc). The population is roughly around one million, give or take a few thousand. Mixture of rich, middle, and working class. Little to no poverty, and the city is very well maintained. No slums. Ambrosia is famed across Aselia for having a bustling nightlife. Most shops and businesses are open until late, and the All Nighter Market is very popular. The All Nighter opens at Sundown, and is an open air market. The city is very well lit and paved, with plenty of lampposts and sidewalks. Because of how well lit Ambrosia is, the city at night kinda looks like a giant egg from the outside. White outer shell and golden glow in the middle. Very little crime, due to the large presence of the army, police, and Magic and Warrior Guilds. Ambrosia's library is located in the Commercial District, and it is a massive ten story tall structure, built mostly of marble, granite, and stone. It is an extremely beautiful building and is famous for being one of the largest libraries in the world. Ambrosia is the capital of Southern Aselia. It is governed by Governor Tom Willows, a tall, hawk-like man in his early sixties, who is a relative of the Emperor. Willows is a very savvy, business-like individual with a keen eye for politics, and a great fondness for knowledge. While he can be very blunt at times, he is a good man and an even better Governor, and he is very popular with his people. He is married with two children and three grandchildren. Rumors say he is also a Wizard of some renown. While the Governor is an inherited position that stays in the Royal Family, the People's Board is comprised of elected Ambrosian citizens. The board is lead by the Commissioner, who works jointly with the Governor on important matters. Main Street, the largest street in the city, runs straight through Ambrosia. In the very center of the city is Central Plaza, which is a fenced off park with the famous Golden Fountain in the middle, with lots of benches, trees, and a large steel and wooden stage on the northern side of the plaza, where shows are often performed. There is also a smaller wooden stage near the southern entrance to the park. Main Street curves around Central Plaza, but a Sound Barrier is in place around the park, to dim the noise of traffic, to make it more peaceful. The Shopping District is in the Southwestern part of the city, while the Commercial District is in the Southeastern part, directly across from it. The Residential District is in the Northwestern part, above the Shopping District, while the Government District is in the Northeastern part. There are no walls or other barriers separating the Districts. But there are signs with maps and info all over the city, so tourists don't get lost. Central Station(The train station) is located in the Northeastern corner of the Commercial District, not far from Main Street. The railway between the Central Station and the Express Gate goes through an underground tunnel. The tunnel slopes upward when going towards the Express Gate from the city, and downward when going towards the city from the Express Gate. Central Station is also below ground. While most of the Magic and Warrior Guilds are located in the Commercial District, there are also quite a number of them lining both sides of Main Street. I think that's everything.

And how much of that did you make up just now?
...Guilds? They have guilds? As in more than one of each, or do you mean 1 each warrior and mage?

But yes, that's enough for me to get going. Full speed... to bed!
Kidding. Tomorrow I have no class and get to sleep in all the way until... like... 10 or something, it's pretty insane.

And how much of that did you make up just now? ...Guild s? They have guild s? As in more than one of each, or do you mean 1 each warrior and mage? Honestly? Not much. A big portion of that you could have found out by reading my previous posts in the RP and here. Hence the "sigh" at the beginning. Yes, they have Guilds, plural. There are multiple Magic and Warrior Guilds in Ambrosia, which is one of the main reasons it's such a hotspot for Wizards and such. They aren't named, and they don't do much. But they're there if you need to use them for whatever reason. So don't worry about it.

Post to unsticky this thread since it shouldn't be constantly at the top of the board. I don't know how that happened to begin with, but yeah, it did. It really made everything look strange, too.

It's not stickied. I just checked. If you click Edit on the OP, GX, you'll see a little note that says "This thread has no effects applied to it". And if you look at the list of topics on the Discussion Board, you'll see there's only one topic with a red tac symbol on the folder. That's the sticky symbol.

It was at the top of the list as well for me for a while. Even above the board guidelines? That's... I have no idea why that would be. The only way to sticky this is for someone to edit my original post on page 1, and even then, the guidelines shouldstill be at the top of the list.
