Well there are 8 players we are currently aware of, and possibly more in the future.
Not everyone who dies enters the game. The purpose of the game is to ensure that a person's potential for creativity and imagination isn't wasted upon death. If someone doesnt have anything to contribute then there's no point in making them a player.

For the record, I'm hardly going to let anyone die in the first couple of days. Mike doesn't even know all the mechanics yet. It'd be like getting a game-over in the tutorial.

You could have a tsundere loli, or even a yandere one. Play with it as you will.
