Have I mentioned that Gammoth is an absolute pushover with Aerial Style Rathalos SnS? Coupled with Critical Eye+2, I was dishing out ridiculous damage to him. He literally couldn't do a thing. All I had to do was stick near him. He only hit me once, and that's just because I'm really tired. In around 8-9 minutes, I mounted him 6 times, broke all his feet, and flinched him so many times that he was almost permanently stun locked.
I almost miss how hard he was the first time. Gammoth reached Great Jaggi status in that battle, I was beating him so badly.

Mammoth seems like a Pushover in general. He's so big and slow but doesn't have many sweeping attacks like Duramboros.

He actually does have quite a few really big AoE sweeping attacks, some surprisingly fast charges, a gravitational field thing that can suck you in from across the map(Which he always uses to combo), summons blizzards in rage mode, and can hit like a freaking runaway train. He's probably the hardest hitting monster in all of LR. Trust me, I saw enough of his attacks and patterns in my first nearly hour long battle with him.
But if you stay close to him, right under his feet, there isn't a lot he can do. And he's particularly vulnerable to being repeatedly stunlocked.

Oh wow. There's actually a really, really freaking awesome reward for beating Gammoth in the Pokke Village story. Didn't expect that.

I managed to derp around him with the starter bow by kiting him.
He's like a really sad Uragaan.
Also, is it just me, or does Najarala have a weird animation bug in this game which causes it to snap out of its surround animation randomly? It's really jarring, especially because Naja teleports a good distance when it happens.

Khezu with a bow is so much easier than with a heavy bowgun.
Double Khezu was a piece of cake. I didn't even need to heal.

Aeva gets mounted? 3 seconds later I'm mounting the Rathian. This happened twice.
I get mounted? Telly: "We need to help the boss, meow!" Aeva: (lays down and stares)

I probably won't be home until like 10 tonight, if by then. But if there's any Rathian farming going on, I want in. Sick of hunting the bastard by myself. All I need is 4 spikes. Just... 4 spikes... Not a plate. Not marrow. Not webbing or wingtalon. Why does it have so damn many drops?

Break both wings to get Spikes.
I just got to 5-star Village, but I'm fulfilling all the Hub Quest Requests so I can get some more food items.

I need to farm for a better weapon. Anyone know of the best at least mid game DB? The ones I have now barely have any green sharpness.

Maybe Rathian? I haven't been looking, but I'll check.
You should still try IG, since its even crazier in the air.

The Bubble Dragon DB is really good, GX.

The only way I can get stronger before HR3 or Vil6 is to get those spikes. And **** those spikes.

I'll be home at like 10. I'd rather just advance rank and get the spikes later.

GX, the Glutton's Tools are a really good DB, if you don't mind using a joke weapon. 100 base attack, lots of green sharpness, +5% affinity, and two skill slots at level 1. They're also really easy to make. They only need 1 Bistro Ticket, 4 Dragonite Ore, and 10 Brute Bones. You should already have a ton of Bistro Tickets and Brute Bones, and you can find Dragonite Ore in Volcano mining spots.

What's the best-looking weapon?
For me it's either the Cawscythe or the Grim Cat.

I just fought Lagi for the first time. He has some really cool new moves. But I still destroyed him easily.
