Really? Ivysaur is one of my favorite Pokemon. Actually, most of my favorite pokemon are grass types, except for the water types. I also like flying types. Dragon types are also cool! I guess I just can't have a favorite type... |

Don't worry, it's fine. It's not the first person to greet me with something extremely unusual. One time somebody hit me with a gigantic fish pillow. Now that person is one of my best friends. It's nice to meet you. Are you the dragon I heard about...?

It's nice to meet you. Are you the dragon I heard about...? The only dragon on the Verse is me... So I would assume so, yes. It's nice to be known. Also, you'll find a lot crazier stuff on here than gigantic fish pillows, but at least you'll have some idea of what to expect. It's all right though, cause it's the fun kind of crazy. The Verse is a really relaxed place to be for the most part, and we're all one big family here. If you've come from Gamefaqs(And I think X said you did), then the Verse will seem like a paradise to you. Trolls are nonexistent here, and the mods are actually people, and not evil robots. So again, welcome. |

Oh wait, he isn't, so as the only Global that hasn't disappeared, I guess you mean me. Welcome to the Verse! I am currently speaking on the behalf of the other Global Moderators. We're glad to have you here! We're all kind of crazy, and some members have a very distinct sense of humor that takes time to get used to. If something one of them says bothers you, I assure you that it's unintentional, and they don't mean it. Our attempts at indoctrination imparting better people skills haven't been quite as effective as we would like. I could say more, but the best way to learn about the Verse is to explore and see it for yourself! Feel free to read and participate in CYOAs, any of the RPs, write a story, goof off on the social board, anything, really. Have fun! |

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what they think would be fun to join? I can't garuntee that I'm very good at writing or that I'll be very good at anything really, but I hope that I can have fun with you all.

Austur is the Verse original. It was the first thing that brought real activity to the site, exactly one year and a day ago. It's still not anywhere near the center of the main plot, so the more the merrier!
Nova is a Pokemon RP that migrated from GameFAQs, and it's over a year old and could always use some new blood and new plots if you're interested.
What Once Was will be a new RP, scheduled to start soon, probbaly this weekend, actually.
Sithis is a TES RP, and while it has stagnated a bit, will soon be revived due to the fact that I'm beginning to free up a little extra time in my schedule.
KH Dissidia is basically an AU of KH were the Keyblade War and Sora never existed, with a strong emphasis on FF. Like Sithis, it will be back in action and finally start moving very, very soon.
NEXT is a DnD 5E game, also early, so if you like playing DnD on forums, it is definitely a must.
And then there's Oz. That's a wacky, wonderful RP where characters from all sorts of RPs and CYOAs here have been summoned to one world, allowing for a huge crossover. Non-canon to the main works though, so no worries about how it could mess woth characterization.

We have a lot of really awesome RPs going on right now, from Wizard of Oz based crossovers, to dark fantasies, to lighthearted dragon RPs, and more. You can join any RP you want, and some of the older RPs might benefit from a new character or two to help them get back up and running. I'm looking at you, Sithis. As for CYOAs, there are a few really good ones on here, including Age of Destruction, a fantastic story by a great author, Fen-Fen's multitude of CYOAs, and my two CYOAs, Eternal Hymn and the Unnecessary Balance. Age of Destruction is the sequel to Seasons of Sorrow, a series of CYOAs that were featured on Gamefaqs way back in 2013, but you don't need to read the original to jump in. AoD is just starting. The Unnecessary Balance is my original CYOA, and it's one of the original CYOAs on the Awakening Board on GF, but it's at topic #7, and would require a bit of reading to fully understand what's going on. My second CYOA however, the Eternal Hymn, is only at 8 pages, so you can still easily jump into that. We also hold competitions from time to time, play online games with each other(Like Monster Hunter) and just generally have a good time. |

Whatever with this greeting stuff.
The dragon is kidding you about a multitude of my CYOA. I'm just testing Atrian Saga's plot out to work out the kinks,so I can add it to my Saga of Etrius trilogy, and my Broken Path one is my own spin on the next generation of superheroes in Spider-man.
Saga of Etrius is a CYOA on GameFaqs on the Awakening board. I haven't set up the third topic because technical issues with phones and stuff. I'm also running a short-story for a future novel, A Thousand Fallen Shadows. Feel free to check it out.
Jumping in to Atrian Saga should be easy, and it has a few references to things, but is mostly still a prototype to see what works and doesn't. It's kinda my style before creating the real deal.

See like I said a million times before we are one big happy family here. Even if some of us do tend to overreact now and again (mean glares at X). But yeah take your sweet time and enjoy your stay here. Like the fire of empire say most of the rps are going at a snails pace so feel free to catch up and join when you get a chance.
