The Mushroom Kingdom Chronicles.... The Goddess Anna

In the middle of the ocean off the coast of DK island there lies something weird. What appears to be a couple of penguins wearing viking helmets and an unconscious large walrus on top of some driftwood. The penguins are rowing the driftwood with there fallen leader towards some type of land. They also are squabbling amongst one another arguing directions or something. They pay no attention as a pirate ship pulls next to them. The penguins are scared unsure what to do with there fallen leader in no shape to do anything.

Yet what happens next confuses them, as ropes are thrown from the ship by what look like bipedal crocodiles. There leader who is off to the side orders the crew to bring them on board as the crocodiles go to fetch the two penguins and the large walrus. They are brought on board walrus and placed him in one of the rooms. There he lies asleep for what appears to be weeks. Until one day he awakens from his slumber.

"He ya awake finally," the crocodile asked. The Walrus just looks around wondering where he is. "Good ta captn be seing ya, Fredrick" the crocodile says as he leaves the room. Lord Frederick is courouis how they possibly could know his bame. During his brief occupation of DK island he nevered encountered any such creatures. The only way Lord Frederick would get any answers is by seeing the leader. So he gathered his lone belonging a Viking helmet and made his way to the top deck.

When Lord Frederick was on top of the deck he saw more of these strange Crocodile creatures some of which were wearing leather jackets, some were wearing bandanas and pirate earings, and some even had some peg legs. Some of the bigger crocodiles were order the smaller creatures around while they were weilding what appears to be clubs or canons. Lord Frederick noticed some of his minions aboard including the penguins that were with him, a couple of polar bears wearing viking helments, some walruses, seals, and owls. They all saluted there leader as he walked by and then returned to there tasks. Lord Frederick appeared all right woth his minions working with the crocodiles because they were eaquls. Lord Frederick then appeared in front of the captins room which was guarded by a rather muscular crocodile holding a rather large club. Normally, Klubba (at least that what it says on his club) wouldn't alloe anyone near the Kaptins office but he was told about Frederick and allowed him to enter.

"Welcome, welcome I trust my Kremlins treated you with the utmost respect," The Kaptin asked.

Lord Frederick just glared in his direction.

"Come now no need to be all silent and guarded, now" the Captin said.

"What you want?" Lord Frederick asked. "If you want to talk with me, at least have the decency to face me," Lord Frederick said.

"Really does is bother you that much," The Captin said. "Okay allow me to properly introduce myself then," the Kaptin said as he turned his chair around to face Lord Frederick. What Lord Frederick saw appeared to be a rather large crcodile wearing a pirates hat, a pirates jacket. Yet the one thing that stuck out literally was K. Rools one eye seemed to bulge. "Lord Frederick allow me to properly introduce myself, I am Kaptin K. Rool leader of this band of Kremlins," K. Rool said to him.

"Hmm captin you said, so again what do you need me for?" Frederick asked.

"It's not so much what I need for you or what I can do for you," K. Roll said. "I take it you had an encounter with him," K. Rool said to Frederick. Lord Frederick faced twitched a little bit as he remembered his encounter with DK. "Let me huess you were so close to complete and utter control just for DK to beat it outta ya," K. Rool said to Federick.

"So you did all this taunt me," Frederick said as he slammed his fist against K. Rools desk.

"At ease my good friend, I know better then anyone your pain," K. Rool told Frederick. "I had many encounters with those flea ridden monkeys," K. Rool said. "I even had my hands on DK locked up until his flea ridden cousin and his girlfriend interfered," K. Rool said. "So what can you do, its what we can do," K. Rool said.

"You mean a partnership," Frederick said to K. Rool.

"Of course a partnership to once and for all to take down DK and his family once and for all," K. Rool said.

Lord Frederick looks like he's thinking about the offer for a bit. "So a partnership to end DK once and for all," Frederick said as K. Rool held out his scaley hand. "To the end of DK," Lord Frederick said as he shock K. Rools hand. The two then broke out into a hearty laugh as they begun to plan for the destructive of DK Island and his family.

BGM: Bowser's Quest



"Gwa ha ha ha, bout dam time X," Bowser said to someone named X.

Location: Toad Town

Bowser having arrived in his sweet ride to Toad Town expected the usual response. The usual response would be Toad's running in pure unadulterated fear and just utter chaos but something is different today. The Toads are just going on about there business paying Bowser no mind. In fact some are just walking right by him like he's not even there.

"Something ain't right, here," Bowser said as he looked at a list (that I wrote of course) of things to do. "Let's see arrive in style, check," Bowser said. "Hmm arrive in the center of town, and announce presence with authority," Bowser said before letting loose some flames to the air. "Okay now complete and utter chaos," Bowser said looking around. The town was quiet and peaceful as always a butterfly landed on Bowsers head.

"Lord evilness is seems like some type of festival," Kammy said getting out of the car. "Hey look is that a cotton candy stand," Kammy said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out some coins. "Be right back sire," Kammy said as she went to the stand.

"Wait, wait sigh I really need some better minions," Bowser sighed.

While Bowser was bemoaning his lack of competent minions a youbg lady came bext to him. She appeared to be a fortune teller of some type almost like Merlen and his family. "Ahh do I see a creature great and green, needing an answer I suppose," the lady said to Bowser.

"Well I am green and great I suppose, anyway what ya want?" Bowser huffed towards her.

"If its answers you so seek, its all but a simple gaze into this ball it is," she told Bowser.

"Well I guess it can't hurt," Bowser sighed.

"Oh but before we begin the stars seek a small payment of course," she said to Bowser.

"Payment, payment do I look like a bank, but answers could be worth it," Bowser thought

So what should Bowser do?

A.) Bowser should pay for the fortune I mean she seems like one of those Merlin people and who knows maybe it will be worth it.

B.) Bowser should just ignore her please probably some type of scam and Bowser don't have no time for that.

C.) Bowser should find a way to get the fortune for free. I mean taking stuff from people is what I do.

D.) Bowser should attempt to tell her fortune somehow. What could go wrong????

E.) Custom option you are Bowser and who knows if you will ever get a chance to be such a great character again.

Now C&D (to bad there was no M option too ) are locked in. Hmm will try to get it up today sometime probably maybe.

"Mummbo Jummbo the stars are speaking to me," She said while gazing into the ball. "Hmm the vision is clearly becoming clear," she said as she stared into the crystal ball. "Ahh I see it now, an old friend is looking to reclaim something that belongs to you," She said. "A thing that is red and green and is ohhh no this isn't good," she countinues. "They find something Purple and not of this world and what becomes of it," she says as her vision returns to normal.

"I knew it Green stache and purple guy are trying to take over my castle," Bowser said.

"No its....," the young lady said

"Knew it Green stach can never be trusted," Bowser said.

"Anyways payment is what I seek or you shall be in for a very shocking experience," the young lady told Bowser.

"Oh well I got something better then coins, thats right your in luck because its time for Bowser fortune time thing," Bowser said as he pulled out a regular looking ball. "Hmm something something something, oh the Koopas, are speaking to me," Bowser said looking into the ball. "Just like a boo that is blue and awkward you shall not be getting, a single coin from me," Bowser said. "Gwa ha ha, thanks for the free freak show loser," Bowser told her.

"Ahh, so thats how it will be well this fortune is free, you are in for a very shocking experience," she told him. The young lady wazed her finger and a dark cloud appeared over Bowser. The cloud rumbled a bit and struck Bowser with a lightning bolt.

"Bzzzz, puff," Bowser said as he struck by a lighting bolt. "Umm that was certainly, shocking," Bowser said as he fainted.

"Mystic what are you doing here?" Merlin asked his granddaughter.

"Nothing Grandpa this place is a drag how can I get any proper training in this town," Mystic said to Merlen. "I mean fortune telling is in the blood but well staying here is like being stuck in mud," Mystic sighed.

"Well I might be able to help, I know a friend or two that might be able to help," Merlen said to Mystic. "Come dear this place smells like burnt turtles," Merlen said as him and Mystic went back to his place.

"Wow lord evilness, you'll love this festival," Kammy said floating next to an unconscious Bowser. "They have all sorts of games, and stands, even managed to won you a couple of things," Kammy said as she placed a Princess Peach plush and a Cheep-Cheep in a fish bowl inside Bowser's Car. "Sire, really whats that burning smell, and where is it coming from Kammy said. "Oh looks like Bowser had a really great time while I was away all covered in Black and passed out," Kammy said. "Actually, kinda of hurt Bowser would run off and have so much fun without me, well two can play this game," Kammy said taking off to enjoy the festival.

"Stupid green stache trying to take over my castle," Bowser mumbled.

Okay so the next couple of scenes involve a little bit of a set up. For those of you not familiar with Season of Sorrow there should be a thread here with a link to previous entries.

Season of Sorrow is a great cyoa created by CDM (aka Happy Banana Fairy or the French way of saying it). (If you want to include a link Mr. Crow you can so people can check it out if they want to) Early in the cyoa there's an infamous seris of events when the RNG went out of its way to kill off a character (her name is Lane) despite everything the readers did right the RNG was determined to kill off Lane.

Now some people started blaming our very own Anna w/o getting her side of the story. Well these next few scenes will attempt to describe the scene from the Annas (Flanna and Anna?) POV.

POV: Anna?

Somewheres in an unknown chambers theres a girl. This girl might seem very familiar to everyone she is almost the same as everyones favorite merchant Anna. Upon intinal glance you would be right in assuming you are looking at Anna. Yet, upon closer inspection this person isn't Anna at all instead of the fiery red hair our beloved goddess is known for her hair is a sumber blue color. Also a birthmark on her neck that she usually covers with her hair so no one sees it. She appears to be alone deep in thought about something when an unwanted guest appears.

"So hows my favorite Anna doing?" A weird person asks. The person appears to be a normal jester like character with half of his face black and the other half white. He is wearing a purple and black jackets and he appears to be wearing a jester hat.

"What do you want Dimento?" Anna? grumbled towards him.

"Why I just wanted to see what's up?" Dimento said while taking a dramatic bow. "I mean he did say we were partners after all right," Dimento told Anna?

"If you say so even through I haven't seen that man ever since he gave me this wonderous invention," Anna? said while she was playing with her bracelet.

"Wow to insult the guy by calling him a man, but what can I expect from a wanna be Anna?" Dimento told Anna? in a very sarcastic tone. Anna? without lifting a brow tossed a dagger right towards Dimento. If it was anyone else that person would have a dagger right through the skull right now but Dimento has a special ability. "Sigh this again," Dimento said as he vanished. "Come now you should know by now those silly tricks wouldn't work on me," Dimento taunted her.

"One of these days it will," Anna? said very casually.

"Oh right like the plan to take the power of your goddess from your sister," Dimento said. "Pray tell how is that working out love," Dimento told her in a mocking matter.

"You know damm well what that bi.... Ggggeeeennggaaarrr," Anna? was interrupted by Chlortles who just arrived.

"Great what the hell do you want?" Anna? growled towards Chlortles.

"Gen gen gen, I am just the messsangar, hete to deliver a report," Chlortles said. "Lord Faful and Sir Midbus are currently, in the process of taking over Gengar Gengar Castle," Chlortles said. "That loser Crump on the other hand, well just say the word and I can Ggggggeeennngggaaarrr him," Chlortles said with a sick grin.

"At least some of my minions aren't completely useless," Anna? said rising from her seat.

"Oh something interesting too about what happened at Gengar Island," Chlortles said. Anna? looked at him with mild intrigue. "Apparently, a girl with wings and a girl that looks like you but with red hair defeated Crump and Lord Fawfuls invention Yoob," Chlortles said.

"Why didn't you say you hot rid of your annoying younger sister and her friend?" Dimento asked.

"So they both live and they been in that dimension all this time," Anna? said with a mock grin. "Well Mr. master of dimensions how about you make yourself useful and check up on those two," Anna? said to Dimento.

"It would be my pleasure and honor my lady," Dimento said right before he vanished.

"As for you Chlortles, tell Fawful keep up the good work and make sure he uses the secret weapon on those brats of Bowser he calls the Koopalings," Anna? told Chlortles who mocked saluted her and then vanished into the shadows.

"Finally, some time to myself to think," Anna? sighed. "As annoying as that jester is he's right I only managed to get a taste of her true power, but then she had to go and grow a conscious on me and seal away the rest of her power," Anna? sighed. "Yet if those two are alive then no doubt, she will seek them out and is probably traveling with them right now," Anna? said with much day. "Who knows maybe they can be useful after all, but we will see," Anna? mused.

"Anyways I wonder what they will think about her wheb they find out what I made her do to Lane," Anna? said as she kicked back in her chair and began reminiscing about that fateful day.
