Bgm: Teaching Time

"Hey guys, well looks like you need my assistance again," Toadetta says. "Must be this X person, not explaining things well enough," Toadetta says while glaring at whoever X is. (Since when can Toadetta break the fourth wall) "Oh well at least I am here to help," Toadetta said with a smile. "Just need my assistant and we go ahead and get this show on the road," Toadetta said as she snapped her fingers. When Toadetta snapped her fingers, a familiar Fletching appeared.

"Oh hey, Toadetta I guess it that Fletching I mean time again," Flanna said as she took her seat at a desk. (Since when did Toadetta have a desk. Hey we are on a schedule here.)

Anyways looks like we are discussing level ups and promotions. "Okay Flanna and X here we go hope you are taking proper notes," Toadetta says as she pressed a button and a slideshow started.

After 100 exp you gain a level. Of course the most common way to gai exp. is by being in battle and not fainting. Boss battles are worth 100 exp and more depending on whether or not the boss summoned minions. Unlike an Emblem of Fire everyone active in the battle gets the exp as too keep the battle and encounters focused on defeating the foe instead of playing musical chairs on who should get the last hit.

Of course if there is a battle where its just multiple grunts then exp is based on foe (tougher foes worthed more exp.), how active the participate was ( a person who was busy healing or attacking will earn more exp then someone sitting in a corner sucking there thumb), and how many they defeated (obviously everyone in the battle gains a basic amount but Anna favors those who offer her more).

Oh one note remember a person can faint mid battle and still gain experience but if they faint and the battle ends then they gain nothing. Finally, eventually there will come a time when not everyone can participate in battle but fear not they may not get the full amount but will receive a portion of the experience that was gained during battle.

Promotion/ Class Change

Now on to class changing and promoting

Depending on the class there is a level cap on each class

Normal Tier 1 (think regular FE classes thief, fighter, myrmidon, etc.): level 20
Normal Tier 2 (think regular FE classes Swordmaster, sages, general): level 30
Unique Tier 1 (anything that hasn't appeared normally in any FE game, think light cleric, spell lancer, light mage): lv 25
Unique Tier 2 (same as UT 1 but promoted): lv. 35

Now there are two ways to promote or change classes.

A. A unit at level 10 uses a second seal or master seal
B. If a unit is at the max unit (ex. Thief lv.20, Light Mage 25) and they "level up" then you are given the option of promoting the unit to Tier 2 or choosing another Tier 1 class (as if you were using a second seal)

Whenever a class is changed through whatever means the unit reverts to lv 1.  
If a unit that is Tier 2 and is at level 10 or above (including being at there max level) they can choose another Tier 2 class of course reverting to level 1.

Meant to update the poll since I updated the way leveling and promotion works.

It's safe to assume there are 3 main choices so here are the chioces for Zack.

A.) Second seal to a Trainee
B.) Master seal to a Swordmaster
C.) Hold off on using anything

Zack reached a level where he can promote.

I vote C. I want to get the most out of this class before moving on.
