So from what I understand, Card Characters stay out Semi-Permanently until killed or returned? And Summons only last for a few seconds?

I was super-confused about that, too, and eventually said "screw it they're all card characters now."

Heres how I understand it.
The Main Characters are always around and come to Oz as normal. They also act as your "leader" and if they get defeated in battle then all characters link to them are also defeated.
Ex.) Mario is a Main Character and Luigi, Peach, and Rosalina are connected to Mario.
Card Characters are just like Main characters except they come to Oz as a card. In a way they are connected to the main character that holds them. They dont have to be related to the Main in anyways. In fact they can chose to work against the main character as long as it doesn't kill them. If the Main is defeated then by extension the Card is also defeated. Other then that the Card Characters are treated and act as Main Characters. They are around until defeated or if the main character calls them back.
Finally Summons perform one action and then disappear into there card form again. Usually a summon character is extremely powerful and there actions can help turn the tide of battles. Yet they only have a one time per battle useage due to there strength. Also special conditions need to be met before you can perform the action in the first place.
Hopefully this helps

The "main vs. card character" thing was that the "main" is whoever arrives in Oz already active, which was meant to usually be the "main character" in one's RP/CYOA storyline, and they could summon other "secondary-ish" characters whenever the writer feels like introducing them without the need of more summon rituals.
Then people was all liek "lemme summon literally all 30 of my characters at once" so the distinction became less clear.

I completely forgot to give George any skills he could use himself. I'll go through the skill list and edit that in tonight. It'll mostly be defensive/physical/support skills.

Skills for George. Limited to equipping 3 from group 1, 3 from group 2, and 1 from group 3 at a time, and takes long enough to change it can't be done mid-battle. I'll add all this to his character sheet later. Waite is... very different. She doesn't use Passive/Auto (2/3) skills, but she can use some high-level Command skills George can't. And a lot more types of magic, because her power comes from a different source. As in an "oh, look at your cute little party tricks" different source. Agi/Bufu/Zan/Zio - Weak single-target elemental skills Amrita - Removes status from all allies Dia/Diarama - Single-target healing Media - Multi-target healing Power Hit - Strong physical attack Multi-hit - 2-7 hits on single target Weak Kill - Heavy damage to status-inflicted enemies Might Call - Guarantees next attack will crit Taunt - Enemies target user, reduces damage received
Leader Soul - Leader will block mortal attacks against his demons Add Poison - Physical attacks may poison Add Paralyze - Physical attacks may paralyze Life Surge - Moderately increase max HP Mana Bonus - Slightly increase max MP Hero Aid - Increase critical rate Crit up - Increase critical damage Quick Move - Increase speed in a skirmish Phys Up - Increase power of physical attacks [Element] Up - Increase power of [element] magic Anti-Phys - Reduce damage from physical attacks Anti-[Element] - Reduce damage from magical attacks Anti-Curse - Resists curse damage and status effect chance Dodge - Higher chance to evade physical attacks
Blitzkrieg - Team offense up Weaken - Enemy defense down Hustle - Team hit rate, evasion up Fortify - Defense up Alter Pain - Taking damage restores MP Battle Aura - Attacks <50 damage are nullified Tailwind - Team agility up Full might - Casts Might Call at start of battle Strengthen - Removes team elemental weaknesses Rage soul - Doubles attack, but only allows basic attacks

Just I remembered something. Would Frey, Dino, and Purple recognize Bowser, Mario, Peach, Fawful and Wario since they were all in gates?
What would Frey and Dino say after seeing the team of Fawful and Wario along with the Pokemon?

Bowser and Mario are Black Lanterns. Only Ringabel and Kitty met Peach. And yes, they woukd recognize Fawful and Wario.
Frey and Dino would prepare to fight them as enemies.
Kitty would cuddle them as allies.
Purple would stare at them for a second before asking if they were in that tournament that one time.

Had a special request to add in a character.
Still confused about wether I should sign him as a MC or a Card though.

Alright X, I signed King Boo up. When/If he's accepted, you can just have Dimentio summon him right?
Also, don't forget to tell me when Slimex can join.

What we did as soon as they were accepted was have a scene where our characters were going about there daily life before being summoned to Oz.
So King Boo will recognize my Dimento has his boss???? Interesting

Not necessarily, probably more as a partner. I just thought since he was your special request it would be interesting to have your character summon/call him.
Yeah, Slimex wasn't even accepted yet.

Remind me about the specifics of Cosmic Drives' translation ability? Is it only the pokemon it's currently bound to, all a trainer's pokemon, or all pokemon?

I believe the version Joshua has is just for that trainer's pokemon, but there are different versions that do different things.
Also, last call for potential lionheart stuff.

Joshua and Yancy's lets them telepathically talk with Pokemon they have a strong bond with (and Golurk).
There's a slight difference in that Joshua's can allow him to use a Pokemon's innate abilities (which he doesn't use for safety concerns since he doesn't know how to control them) and Yancy gets passive healing (which neither of them have figured out quite yet).
