Now now, be nice. This is a family site, Empire. Please take that down. Wait, really? That's the least convincing "bloody" drawing I've ever seen. I personally can't take it seriously with those facial expressions. The victim's all "wat evs" and stuff. Yes, really. No violence. Well, unless it's in a CYOA/RP, but that's beside the point. From now on, just avoid gifs with blood and curse words.

Sorry, I got bored...
Oz: Crossroads of Legends.
Somewhere out there in the multitude of realms and pocket universes there is one that just so happens to take card games very very seriously. Seeing as the cards of that realm/universe can release characters from stories and legends of limitless power, the focus on card games is quite justified. In a setting where magic and technology are one and the same, this...realmiverse is called Oz.
Oz had two ruling classes. There were the Wordsmiths, who wrote epic tales of heroes and villains, of monsters and machines, of gods and men. The technology they used to write commands a magic so powerful that their scripture is infused with summoning and life magic that through psychic matter transmutation gives anything they write about the ability to come to life. The magic of their stories remained, even when alchemically reduced into a film-like digital data storage.
Then there were the Dealers, who wielded the cards. Their rituals extract the magic of the Wordsmiths to release them from their small rectangular transdimensional quantum computer films. This allows the characters of the works to be brought to life.
Sadly the primary intent of interactive fiction was quickly lost when the destructive potential of these cards was realized. In the first and last war to occur on Oz, Wordsmiths were called on to write the most devastatingly malicious and powerful characters ever imagined. The Dealers took these horrible stories to rain the hellfire of pure imagination upon each other.
Obviously this didn't last long. Not because of mutually assured destruction, but because suddenly an incredible amount of deities of utter chaos and destruction were brought to life, and were told they were to fight on behalf of obviously inferior beings. Oops.
So now the world of creators belongs to their creations, who have spent the last centuries being oppressive jerks for fun because that's how they were written. In a last ditch attempt to reclaim their realmiverse, the people of Oz found another world. One which still contained stories of hope and peace, of benevolent gods and mighty heroes. And so with their last bit of magic fuel, they reached out towards the most powerful scriptures of this world, to bring forth the heroes that would save them.
But they missed and instead they got this website. ...looks like they don't have a choice!

Hey, do you think I should have Anthor and Fathyon (my two mains for this one, one good one evil, since I'd like to give them some more characterization) actually roll/throw dice for their attacks?

No, as in that they actually roll dice when rolling for damage and such.

Snipers aren't deadly because they use really big guns.
Snipers are deadly because they know how to weaponize math.

*snorts* Every girl I encounter is rude as hell. GX is...different actually. Besides blaming me for THINGS!!!!! Apparently I wasn't blessed with luck with the opposite gender, but that's life. Oh, sorry. I was trying to post and explain that my comment was a joke based on your continuing feud with Neo over who's characters are more OP. But then my router decided to update, making it so my laptop couldn't connect to the internet. And my iPod was still locked up, so I couldn't post. And then I forgot about it. So...yeah.

'Twas a joke, but thank you for the abolopgy anyway. For once, where my heart should be, a fuzzy feeling was surfaced. Nice people still exist.
*floats into the air before ascending to heaven* I can now go in peace...
