Oh, right... you live in Florida. Do mountains even exist in Florida? No. I haven't seen a proper mountain since I was a child.

Wait, actually, no... There were mountains in northern Afghanistan. I think it was Afghanistan...

OK... think... like... the size of a small town. Not a small town, just a small town.

We have no mountains in Florida. Only "I guess you can call that a hill"s.

OK... think... like... the size of a small town. Not a small town, just a small town. ... I often visited the Rocky Mountains as a child, Crow. My memory isn't THAT faulty. A large mountain is most definitely NOT the size of a town, nor even the size of a city. When was the last time YOU saw a mountain? Huh Birdy?

Unless it's with Joshua, I guess I'll just be pausing here, then.

I stand by my statement.

Okay. So if the Rocky Mountains are the size of small towns, that would make Mount Everest, one of the largest mountains in the solar system, what? The size of Atlanta? Doesn't that seem... I dunno, just plain wrong to you?

I did the math. 3.5x the size of Atlanta.

No, wait. I screwed up the math. Everest is 20km wide, not radius. So it's got an area of about 314km^2. Making it... almost exactly the size of Atlanta, yeah.
That... was an eerily insightful comparison, Neo.

You could go to google maps satellite view 3D mode and like...check for the size of mountains.
Grouse Mountain is about the size of Vancouver's downtown core, and significantly smaller than the entire city.

But when determining the size of a blast radius, and the resulting crater, you don't just factor in the width of the object. You have to factor in the mass, height, surrounding terrain, type and strength of the explosion, and more. If a nuclear bomb is dropped on a small town, is the crater exactly the size of the town? No, it would be much, much wider.
An entire mountain- a sizeable mountain at that- was obliterated with a supernatural destructive force the equivalent of multiple nuclear bombs. If you think the crater would only be the size of a small town, you're very wrong.
... Why are we arguing about this again?

Oh, yeah, the crater would be a bit bigger than the mountain itself.
We aren't arguing. We're teasing you because you think a mountain's both the size of a kingdom and the size of The Red.

Tell me how big Everest is again? And not just the width of its base. Right, I think I win. Cheerio, I'm going back to bed.

I had to rush because I was called to enter work early tomorrow. I feel bad about it, but I did promise an update, and it's been delayed enough already.
Also, votes for two things at a time aren't allowed.

So witch now or not?
I'm not in any of the planning stuff so I just don't want to have to redact things later.
