So, how are the villains summoned? Are people summoned by the villains forced to obey them?

So, how are the villains summoned? Are people summoned by the villains forced to obey them? Depends on whether they can be persuaded or not. I imagine either they won't, or they'll ALL secretly plan to stab everyone else in the back in the end.

The villains were summoned the same way as the heroes, and the people who summoned them wouldn't have known the difference. So odds are some of them are out and about, carrying the others in cards. The Oz villains could have just stolen/killed for the cards as well. Remember that if you die, you just go back into card form until the card is fixed and you are resummoned.

Remember that if you die, you just go back into card form until the card is fixed and you are resummoned. But if a MC dies, who holds their card? Common sense would say "the Card Characters", but there are those who either don't have any, or someone could've really screwed up and also got them killed/reverted.

How does a killed MC become revived from their card?

How does a killed MC become revived from their card? The same way as everyone else... THEY [TBD reason here].

So why have Card Characters and Main Characters?
Would a Resurrection spell work?

Killed MC becomes a card and then someone else has to revive them. Simple enough. Rule: don't die alone.
Reviving would probably need a church or a pokemon center filled with holy water or something.
MC holds the other cards and is who you write for mostly. Why isn't Jupiter the main Galactic character I have? Because I write more for Saturn.

I'm thinking that "killed" Card Characters should be either disabled until a timer runs out, or disabled until the cards are taken to a shrine/spring/fountain/something blessed by OZ's goddesses (dotted across various points of the land) or something and restored. ...Or "Warp Zones" are activated by touching a magic flower/activated at a shrine/diving into a fountain/something that leads to a portal to a "home base" where everyone first came from. This is what happens when people ignore important posts with nothing more than an "okay".

So why are card characters separate from main characters? Why would they have different revival mechanics?

So why are card characters separate from main characters? Why would they have different revival mechanics? Because the original intention was to make the MC susceptible to ACTUAL death to make them different and more important, but people don't seem to like that. So it's probably better to keep them different in other ways so that MCs and CCs aren't so interchangeable. I'd suggest that an MCs death means the CCs tied to them are automatically reverted until the MC is revived, but that may or may not be seen as fair for those without CCs or without a lot of MCs.

Do we have a current list of villians or just what has been suggested.
I know Duke Devlin....I mean Golurk suggested a couple of his DnD characters? But is there anything else that's being used?

I plan on having a few characters summoned to the opposing side.

I have one villain (because Irmar is a one-shot and I probably won't have a tangible villain in Austur for a long time), but that would involve bringing Sumner back from the dead.

Only Anthor is a villain so far. I'm planning on having another one summoned too.
Man, I was hoping for some real MC death.

By the way, are we going with Neo's Summons idea? I have a few in mind should we go with it.

I was thinking about maybe Fawful and King Boo. Bowser not so much the villain just accidental hero. Anna's more like a goddess scorned. ???? is O's character and I am not really sure about the Koopalings.
Neo what would you think about Fawful teaming up w/ jeckle as either one of his officers, the person who is 'the face' of the mad scientist while Jeckle handles everything behind the scene. Fawful wouldn't be the craziest person Jeckle worked with. Maybe the most annoying but just what to know what you think.
