Name: Elia Arrington/Odessa RP/CYOA of origin: Austur Card Character?: No Weapon: Bow & arrows, knife Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: When pushed too far, and under the right conditions, Elia gains a mysterious, and substantial, boost to her magick. But if she begins to rely on that extra power too much, her control over it starts to slip, possibly even resulting in actions that aren't her own. Possesses immensely powerful holy magick, but she currently has too small of a mana pool to be able to realize or reach her full potential. Allies: None at this particular moment, maybe later Bio: A regular girl who was kidnapped, then adopted into the Cleatian royal family, taking on the name Odessa. Elia still wishes for nothing more than to return to her old life, but with the destruction of both her village and the monastery, she has no place to run to, no shelter where she can take refuge and escape the soldiers that would no doubt pursue her. She dislikes Emperor Titus Caesarius, her adoptive father, and fears his wife Cornelia. It is that fear that keeps her at the palace, always looking for a way to escape. Tech level: Medieval
---
Name: The Grey Fox RP/CYOA of origin: The Missing God Card Character?: No Weapon: Crossbow, katana Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: The Cowl magically hides this person's identity, and they seem to be blessed with great luck from Nocturnal herself. Allies: None Bio: Using the Grey Cowl of Nocturnal, this person hides their true identity and takes on the persona of the Grey Fox, the greatest thief in all Tamriel. Can pick seemingly any lock, is one of the best pickpockets known to ever exist, and seems to be able to smell gold and other valuables from more than a mile away. Don't bother trying to hide anything of value, it won't work. Tech level: Medieval
Name: Caineghis Mountain-Bringer RP/CYOA of origin: The Missing God Card Character?: Yes ~ The Grey Fox Weapon: Various Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: Melee Attack - Uses a random melee weapon(s) to attack Ranged Attack - Uses a random ranged weapon(s) to attack Magic - Uses either defensive or offensive magic, spells determined by what he knows when he is summoned Heart of Red Mountain: Spoiler Allies: None Bio: Coming from what may or may not be an alternate timeline, this wanderer from Tamriel has some sort of connection with the Grey Fox. Despite the fact that the shadowy thief's identity should be unknown to all, judging from the way they interact, it's quite possible that Caineghis knows the Grey Fox very well. Caineghis might just be even more mysterious than his ally.
More characters and their info coming soon!

Now, I understand you love dragons. I do too, but... All the dragons I've seen are getting owned by humans in nearly every FE game. At this point, it's an unspoken trend.... I'm not saying Serlen was a god in human form, I'm saying the people of the world he inhabited believed in. Might as well destroy bleach and Naruto characters because those are some OP f******.
I've put time limits on his skills. If this was BL Serlen, I would probably concede with your view. As that one is crushed by the 50 page limit. Here, I was able to expand the story and can take as long as I want to get to what I want instead of rushing to compile everything into one neat group. Balance is a very debatable issue.
Star Dragons in TOE Lore are extremely powerful. All that he has in CC from has him equipped for those encounters. I simply took what he would have at the end of his tale, and put it on him with a slightly lesser time limit. He can only use piercing heaven dragon once before he reverts. Dragons of light heal the environment, which I thought was clear by Seraph's eclipse ability. Begnia is a goddess of healing, not destruction. I've carefully planned out her power as well for TOE, and applied it to all three appearing from TOE. You'll find that at the end for TOE, no one is a god in human form. They bleed sweat and make many mistakes. For AS, that's a far darker world with gods that would shake time and space if they were freed. That's where all the real OP stuff happens. I equip characters with what they need to face down such gods, not make them one themselves.

The characters appearing in this crossover are future versions of the UB ones, and this future is one of many different outcomes. I chose to do this for a specific reason, namely to illustrate the many possible outcomes in UB.
While it's true my CYOA was the first to use radically different power levels, this is explained in story. The reason the enemies are stronger is explained in story. The reason certain characters are ungodly powerful is also explained in story. Just because you do not know the reason, does not mean it doesn't exist. I have no need to explain myself further, nor will I. I do not have the time.

Then we are on the same page. I assume GX will be posting more characters. Actually surprised Caineghis isn't in this.

I'm planning on giving Caineghis to GX so she has another character to use, since I have several more.

To be fair, dragons can probably more trivial than believed simply because of Pokemon's Dragon and Fairy types, assuming that part gets adapted.

Name: Rhiannon Silvenhall/Naga RP/CYOA of origin: The Unnecessary Balance Card Character: Yes ~ Ethan Weapon: Specializes in magic tomes, staves, and swords. Wields the legendary Tome of Heaven, Starlight, and the mythical Staff of Heaven, the Aum Staff. She is the chosen wielder of Excalibur. Notable Traits, Powers, and Abilities: She can change into her Divine Dragon form at will. In this form, she is immortal. However, once enough damage is inflicted on her, she is forced to revert to human form. In human form, she is incredibly fast, even faster than her brother and niece. She is virtually immune to all magic, and the cloak and crown she wears make her a force to be reckoned with. In Dragon Form, she can breathe in space, teleport, command the weather, and more. Aura Shield: All magic damage is halved. Blink: Uses Illusion Magic to move faster than the human eye can see. Only works on humans. If this fails, she can still move at normal speed, which for her is faster than a modern day Race Car. Teleport: Dragon Form only. She vanishes from existence, reappearing in a different place. Has a limited range. Mantle of the Stars: Gained from the Cloak draped around her shoulders. Allows her to become temporarily immune to physical damage. Only lasts for one minute. Only usable once every 24 hours. Breath of Divinity: The devastating and godly breath of the Divine Dragon. Anything caught in its wake is reduced to ash. Mega Flare: Naga rockets high into the sky, leaving the atmosphere completely. She hovers over the planet, and unleashes a gigantic beam of energy down at the planet. The attack causes a massive explosion, obliterating everything in range. Requires a Reality Marble. Once used, she must revert to Card Form. Weather Change: Summons a random weather effect. Can summon a Thunderstorm, Blizzard, Downpour, or Sandstorm. Energy Burst: Naga uses every last ounce of her remaining power, annihilating everything and everyone caught in the blast. The healthier she is, the stronger the attack. Requires a Reality Marble. Once used, she must revert to Card Form. Reality Marble Allies: None Bio: The current Divine Dragon, and ruler of the Immortal Forest. She inherited the responsibility from Tiamat, when she stepped down. During the War of Time, after certain events only known to a few, she absorbed the powers of the first Divine Dragon, Naga. While she still preferred her real name around her family, she took the name Naga after donning the mantle of the Divine Dragon. She is known for several radical reformations in her time, most of which were centered around returning Naganism to the world, not as a religion, but as a way of life. Those who believed in the Divine Dragon practiced helping people and living proudly from day to day, and as the movement spread, the world entered a lasting era of peace. It is said she reigns even still, and is the longest reigning Divine Dragon in history. She lives in the Silver Tower, along with her husband and three children. While largely a pacifist, she is not afraid to bear her fangs when necessary. According to legend, she is so powerful, the ground trembles when she walks. As such, she always levitates just a few inches above the ground, to avoid causing Earthquakes. In lore and myth, she is known as the World-Shaker, and the One True Sovereign. Tech Level: Medieval/Magical Decided Crown of the Stars was broken, and deleted it. There are far too few ways to counter it, so yeah.

Then how do we stop Naga from being so OP?

Then how do we stop Naga from being so OP? Naga isn't actually that OP. And she won't be in the RP at the beginning. Ethan will gain her CC much later. Forcing an artificial weakness would be just that: artificial."Fairy" does not exist in UB. So how would you justify a UB!Dragon being weak to it? Dimensional Travel shenanigans? Again, it would be artificial, and it wouldn't make sense in any context. It would be like me saying Eon's dark attacks would be "super effective" on Elia, despite the fact the two use completely different magics. You should be able to understand why this is a supremely horrible idea.

Wait, how come Serlen can't be immune to magic but Naga can?
Plus, lots of instant kill attacks and such are pretty ridiculous.

Wait, how come Serlen can't be immune to magic but Naga can? Plus, lots of instant kill attacks and such are pretty ridiculous. I didn't say Naga is immune to magic. I said she only takes half damage, which is a reasonable ability for her, and has several different counters. It's basically a much weaker form of Dragonskin, which is an actual ability. So, by your point, I wouldn't be allowed to use current Trail without changing his skill set, because he has Dragonskin. She isn't the only one with a similar skill. By your logic, we should also exclude Mirror Coat, because it reflects all Magic attacks. Wait, hold on! Let's ban all pokemon with that attack and deem them OP! Really, Golurk? Really? I am removing myself from this entire topic. Because I am starting to get pissed off. Edit: I wouldn't have said a thing if Serlen had the same ability, to halve magic damage. Because that is a balanced ability, that can be countered. Negating ALL magic has no counter, unless you want to play the "my character is stronger than yours so my abilities win" card. And no, physical attacks aren't a counter. Because what happens when he fights a purely magical character? It becomes a one sided, broken fight.

Actually, Mirror Coat only reflects direct damage and you still take the damage. Plus, it's a preemptive effect and only lasts for one turn, and the user can't do anything else.
Also, the text that I read said "she is virtually immune to all magic"

FYI Mirror Coat doesn't nullify crap, and the Pokemon using it still takes full damage. If the Mon can't survive the magic, that's a moot point anyway.

All this happens while I'm busy editing...
Neo, I don't think that anyone (well, maybe besides Emperor) is actually trying to say your characters are way to OP, or challenge the reasoning why.
But I do think that the gaps in power between participants are a problem. At this point, we would have to make huge adjustments to characters, using the mechanics and stuff in OZ to excuse all the buffs/de-buffs. It's getting a little out of hand at this point. We need the characters to be at least a little closer together when it comes to power level before we even apply OZ's laws and mechanics. Otherwise, your characters are going to be extremely handicapped just so the universe doesn't shatter, and I don't want to see anyone forced to deal with that many handicaps. But we can only buff our characters so much to make up for the gap.
We just need to find some (mostly) level ground right now. Nothing needs to be banned, dropped, or handicapped, some things just need to be adjusted slightly. Which is why I'm buffing my characters for the crossover. They would normally be really far behind, so I'm having to pull things out of nowhere (or things that I normally wouldn't use) just to try leveling things out.
The biggest thing is that we have to practice discretion when we choose characters. For instance, we should be avoiding overkill in fights, because it just makes things look unbalanced. And Naga would certainly only be around for the most difficult battles. I'm sure you know this already and this is your plan Neo. I just think we're all starting to get a little irritated with each other because things aren't looking balanced on paper, and that naturally creates negativity. So let's all calm down, look at things objectively, and discuss our plans. I'm sure that if we give each other enough time to explain things, we'll see that we're just overreacting and being too emotional, and things are actually far more rational than we think they are right now.
Come on, everyone take a few deep breaths. In, then out. And again. Now, can we all get along and give other the benefit of the doubt?

Yay, I'm not on mobile anymore and can actually look at this thread regularly and give my two cents on stuff (although I was saving the discussion about power balances for later once mostly everyone got their character sheets and we could adjust accordingly)! That being said, Name: The Grey Fox ---
Name: Caineghis Mountain-Bringer Card Character?: Yes ~ The Grey Fox [...] Allies: The Grey Fox
Le sigh.

Because I just went over how to do the Allies tag properly yesterday! It doesn't even need any critical thinking, you just need basic literacy to read the OP!
