Can I just have my character wake up like she is getting ready for a normal day in her post Lotus life or does it have to be a special awaking. Besides having King Fenir playing the part of Phil I have no plans or ideas of what to do in the meantime if anyone has any suggestions or ideas it would defiantly be helpful?

Well, he doesn't really "devour" it, but he essentially manipulates the conversion, altering the signal of the energy into the one that's solely compatible with his own, and thereby feeding off it. It's part of how he's able to continuously destroy and recreate matter. Sorry, I'm probably not explaining it very well. I'm exhausted. Hopefully HD can figure out my mumbo jumbo... |

Well, forms of energy include thermal, electrical, electromagnetic, nuclear, kinetic, potential, electrochemical, electromagnetic, and sound.
Nuclear energy is matter in and of itself.
Thermal is heat.
Electrical is electricity.
Electrochemical is batteries and such.
Kinetic is movement.
Potential is tension/suspension.
Electromagnetic is light.
Sound is sound.

But isn't nuclear derived from the subatomic bonds within an atom's nucleus and the energy that comprises matter quantum energy?

Neo, blasters might hurt the exterior of Omega when he's contained, but if he was in "annihilation vortex" mode then he'd be burning so hot that any blaster strikes wouldn't really matter. He wouldn't absorb it, but it wouldn't hurt him. It's like dropping a match into a bonfire trying to break the firewood. Let it be said though that a big enough match would probably do something... "Nuclear" as most of us know it is the thermal energy created by the breaking of atomic bonds, which, in a roundabout way, are manifestations of the strong nuclear force. It's like pulling two magnets apart and generating heat that way. Radiation is either just penetrating EM waves or particles being fired with enough kinetic energy to disrupt the other particles they hit. Radiation sickness is caused by the electrons of your DNA getting knocked off. "Electrical" is the kinetic energy of electrons, but the way most people know it is as a potential energy. Voltage is electrical potential, which is defined through the EM force and electrostatic fields. "Electrochemical" is the kinetic/potential energy of electrons caused by redox reactions that create electrical potential. And here's something a learned while looking at wikipedia: "thermal" is potential energy defined in similar terms to entropy (macroscopic manifestation, while "heat" is the kinetic energy of those thermal potentials. Most everything we think is "Energy" is really just "heat". Lightning burns because it creates heat. Nuclear power plants create heat. Antimatter annihilation would manifest as heat if it ever occurred on a macro-scale. The energy of a swinging fist is better thought of on a completely different level, since mechanical physics is completely distanced from the more quantum regions of particles and fields. Now, I don't really think all this has to be used in this RP, and really, conservation of energy would make most of this stuff impossible. |

Name: Kyrie Ayala (Kai-ree Ey-ah-la) Gender: Female Age (ignoring time frozen): 19 Appearance: Around 5'5. Messy black hair and pale skin, severe scarring on her wrists, very thin, with green irises. Noticeably mechanical on the backs of her arms, her throat, and her back, smooth metallic surfaces. Her hologram generally shows her hair neat, skin clear, face made "pretty," and curves accentuated. Wears dark sweaters over jeans, when optional. Home District: America, or whichever one is currently least populated with our characters. Bio: An anti-social girl before abduction, she was abducted during college, where her previously mediocre social life had become non-existent, and she had grown depressed and displeased with her appearance. She had also taken to people-watching. After waking up, her abilities and modern technology allow her to feel secure with herself (or rather, who she shows herself as), and she takes to quiet work as a LOTUS, still fond of people-watching. Once she knows something, she's either apathetic towards something, scared of it, or extremely fond of it. One of the early LOTUS experiments, not many impressive improvements were made. Abilities: Standard healing factor and all that. Her only weapons are a high-caliber pistol she keeps holstered on her belt (normally hidden under the big sweaters she wears), and blades (finger-thin. four on each hand) that can extend over her knuckles from her forearms. However, she also produces several chemical compounds inside of her body that she can secrete, including an aphrodisiac that can affect (only) humans through touch, and several venomous and acidic secretions for different life-forms/substances. She's technologically gifted, and can change up her hologram on the fly. Assassination, Stealth, Computer, Interrogation and Infiltration-oriented. Energy Source: Uses electrical energy. Sound good?! *Waits eagerly for Golurk (or anyone really) to dissect logic/lore/science and improve it* Dunno whether it'll work better for me to start off out of the pod or not, though I get the feeling it'd be easier for me to start out, since she'll need to learn a good bit about modern computers and their programming languages (assuming she can't just download buttloads of necessary information). I'm down for whatever though. And it's cool if I do another character, right? I assume it'd be nice to have more characters interacting. |

Decided on Brittania after realizing it was the least populated (now they're all even).
I think I'll start with her Awakening. Golurk, as the only fellow Brittanian, wanna help with that? Awakenings are made to be shared with friends (and it would probably help to get some character interaction early on).
And it's cool if I do another character, right? I assume it'd be nice to have more characters around.

GCF, Manhattan could be overseeing the awakening in Britannia by draxan request. Cooperative LOTUSes would probably be asked to help keep an eye on potential threats.
And you can have other characters Doug, preferably not another LOTUS though.
