Uh... Micah X Corva isn't a thing though. Because of the large age gap. There's like... No way we could come up with an excuse for that. It's just a healthy crush- or will be- on Micah's part because he's a 16 year old boy who's never had a chance to, you know, be a normal boy.

We do have a lot of age gaps in romances on this site though, and it's smaller than most of the major ones.

For CYOAs, there's Trail and Kanis in UB, and June and Paen in SoS/AoD, but I think that's it. |

For CYOAs, there's Trail and Kanis in UB, and June and Paen in SoS/AoD, but I think that's it. Pearl (510) and Arc (15), Baron ("hundreds") and Catie (unknown, but probably not hundreds), Orion (25) and Eden (20) if we strictly go by "half your age plus 7", possibly June and Catie and I feel like I'm forgetting something else. |

Orion is only 25 and Eden is 20. 5 years is not a big gap at all. Not when it's between two grown adults. That's actually a very realistic relationship age difference.

Right, forgot how old Pearl was. That's definitely the largest gap. But again, there's a fantasy element behind it, so it's easier to justify. There's no fantasy element behind two humans who are 16 and 30. Even though I totally want to ship poor lonely Micah with someone.  Hmm... Maybe I'll make a flower girl in Lilycove and do the whole Aerith X Cloud thing. Except without the whole dying part. |

Catie's in her 80's. Laguz age weird. So, yes, June and Catie would qualify. But I don't know that I'd count Catie and Baron since the difference between 80's and hundreds seems comparatively negligible. Among minor CYOA relationships... John (20) and Mary (17) (18 by the end). Rosalin (35) and Cecil (42). Harrow (120's) and Cynbel (33). |
