Celeste doesn't know about what Maurice has planned, but he may soon learn what Giratina does. Also, Celeste would sooner kill the man that re-invented Shadow Pokemon than learn his name let alone work him him. And he's kind of out-of-this-world until further notice. The only person that would know what Maurice is planning would be Maurice...that's the kind of paranoid control freak he is, right? (But he does have a plan, or at least, Jay had one for him. Let me know if that information should be revealed.) I mean that he wants all pokemon killed. He mentioned it to someone once. I thought it was Celeste. I could be wrong. I think it was Neal. If not, it's the long-dead Brendan.

It was Neal at Mt.Silver if I recall. Back when he was leader of Team Xerneas and made of nanomachines.

Celeste and Maurice had never met before. I think the only ones to meet Maurice personally in the RP are Jay and Digi so...probably Jay.
I was talking more about how Maurice plans to destroy all pokemon. Probably a non issue though since it looks like Duncan's taking over.
Maurice is pathetically weak on his own. I think John Doe could take him in a one-on-one since Manaphy can't be StarBurst. It's Giratina who's the problem. Giratina's a god. It doesnt have to worry about gravity since it can make gravity not exist.

John Doe carrying grenades + Heart Swap + holding live grenades next to head until the last second = gg I probably won't do that tactic often, if at all, for the rest of the RP simply because I think it's mad cheap.

I want to say it happened in topic 4 because I remember reading GCF pushing Jay to have someone tell Maurice to meet Neal a top Mt . Silver in one of the discussion topics and then when it did happen Neal tried to reason with him and talked about how he didn't hate him before Maurice told him his plan and he charged him. If it's the scene I'm thinking of then when Neal charged Maurice his attack had no effect because of an invisible barrier that surrounds his body and the god sword he carried made a mirror that pulled him into the distortion world and he used a suped up version of starburst that acts as an AoE attack to cause Darkria massive pain which caused Neal to send him away. Not in that order. So he doesn't seem that weak unless I haven't gotten to the part where he loses his tools yet.

Who has a grudge against Duncan and why again? There's just so many. Off the top of my head, Grant because "MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEAAAAAD." Celeste because Shadow Pokemon. Meridia for Romulus. And possibly Joshua and Yancy for being the one who killed Nate at the PWT. Never had a concrete plan for that, but I kind of wrote Maurice out as a candidate and Duncan is one of the few villains left. Could also let him get further into Meridia's s*** list while doing so. Kinda-sorta-not-really Hugh for killing essentially everyone Yveltal at Ever Grande. Not really since I had him admit to not really caring all that much about those loses in his mailbag segment.

Who controls Riley? He should be there for the Snowpoint Fight. I have plans, and you will want him around if for no other reason than to stop over 1000 independently moving razor sharp blades of pure aura on the off chance I try the same trick twice. (I won't, but seriously. It should be fun.)

Crushing is still a viable option.

I also wouldn't try the same trick twice. That doesn't mean that I won't come up with something new, and exciting and equally crazy, but I would be able to have a lot more fun with it if there was someone who could manipulate auras there. Besides, I've kind of been keeping him in mind since I'm doing a platinum nuzlocke. I just went through Iron Island yesterday so I happened to remember him when designing Duncan's Snowpoint arsenal. I'm in Snowpoint right now actually.

Well good, because I kind of introduced Cheryl, Marley, and Mira while you were AWOL and they kind of use Cosmic Drives and they're kind of High Tier on the power spectrum... Especially Mira.

You forgot to mention that mira talks in third person about herself.

At the rate this is moving...a month. There will be at least one relatively non-consequential filler arc before the end. Ask digi about it.

It's so much more than just that. Don't you remember that Duncan was the one who captured Meridia at Lavender Town? And yeah, the PWT also is part of the reason why she hates Duncan. I really think we should make Duncan the new big bad. It would just work so much better.

You forgot to mention that mira talks in third person about herself. Most people who play Platinum will probably figure it out at some point. ...After Wayward Cave anyway. For some strange reason, she speaks mostly in first-person there (as in, she goes third-person for just one line) before being full-on third-person at the Battleground. No idea why. I'm just sticking with third-person because I like having people's personalities stick out more.
