Throughout the Kyurem saga, I kept thinking there was a pair of words to describe Kyurem's situation, but it never occurred to me until just now.
Containment. Nova was using containment protocols.

I think the sexual side of it attenuated as it traveled from the east to west coast, so by the time it got to me it was only the shudder of an elated fangirl.

So the whole Gracidea serum thing started because I wanted to think of a reason why Nova would commandeer the Flower Paradise. Obviously they needed the flowers, but why? Well, Gracideas are used to convey gratitude, so what's the most evil thing you can do with gratitude? Hm...Force someone to be thankful for absolutely anything done to them, effectively replacing free will with a perfectly suggestive state. Naturally the person in charge of such a serum would be a mind-controlling psychic dominatrix.
