The Nova Admins apparently have a tendency to be literally invincible, and I'm not playing the most OP character in the RP for once. "Baity-Bird" would result in brutally murdered and very dead bird. |

I'm not playing the most OP character in the RP for once. Corva's definitely not the most, but as a Satellite she's up a lot higher on the list than I'm used to... Or at least she thinks she's a lot higher than most of my characters think they are, even when they've got a ton of potential (coughLeo). I'm also controlling 3 of the weakest who have absolutely none of the insane gear. It's a very odd feeling. Hey, what can people tell me about Mt. Pyre? |

I have a last-resort plan for Heatran, for if nobody is else doing anything with it. Same with Cresselia. But they're not required players by any stretch.

Inane ramblings: I've been reading some summaries of the Pokemon Adventures manga between sample runs (so much down-time at work lately...). I remember reading a bit of the Kanto arc as a kid, but I was never able to get my hands on enough to get the overall narrative. And looking back, what the ****. Also The Electric Tale of Pikachu - I forgot how weird Sabrina was in that one. Because she was so... not evil. Like... Skyla threw Black off Celestial Tower. Twice. And launched him back to the top with a cannon. Green defeated Sabrina by tricking her into cutting her clothes off. Fusion of the three legendary birds into an Eldritch monstrosity. Why these things. I also looked at all the Elite Four members (a lot of down-time...). One each for Bug, Poison, Ground, Fire, Water, Steel. Two for Ice and Fighting (3 fighting if you count Bruno both times). Three for Ghost, Dragon, Psychic, and Dark. Interesting because ghost and ice are tied for the rarest types (I did not know that) but so highly represented. And no representation for Rock, Grass, Normal, or Flying (all common) or Fairy or Electric. I also happened to find Jude - he's a Pokefan in Celestial Tower. So I looked up the rest of the characters. Jude also shows up as part of an Ace Duo (how oddly coincidental). Elmer's a Victory Road Ace Trainer. Riley, gym leader. Duh. Cassandra shows up as a Swimmer, a Socialite, and a character in the anime (the one trying to convince her Paras to let its fungus take over). Karen, both in the Elite Four and a Schoolkid. No Vern, Raven, Elodie, Ferdinand, or Corva. Mr. Fuji. Anyone mentioned him at any point, or is it safe to assume he's in the "dead" pile? Safari Zones. Have they been mentioned? If not, is it safe to assume they're barren, desolate ruins of former battlegrounds? Seeing as they were stuffed with rare and endangered Pokemon. Mt. Pyre. I already asked about that, but I figured I may as well put all my running scheme-y questions in one place. |

Mr. Fuji was mentioned in passing as one of the original creators of Mewtwo, but has not appeared as far as I can remember. Probably dead though. Oh so more exposition. The Mewtwo of team Mewtwo is not the same one that was born in Cinnabar before RBY. It was created after the war in a project by the Rebels. The original Mewtwo was Red's partner and died with him when they went to try and find Arceus. The Safari Zones are probably being used as Nova facilities (look at all that free land!), but I don't recall if anything major happened in one yet. Nothing has happened to Mt. Pyre as far as I can remember. We haven't dug into and blown up Hoenn lore as much until recently. |

I'm on my work computer typing this cause my phone is being a piece of crap again. So, could I have Heatran? I'd like to do something with him, but I don't know what. I currently only have vague plans for Micah- searching for a cure for his Shadow Pokémon, leading to a journey of self reflection, and something to make him a part of the Regiggas arc where he'll have another confrontation with Meridia, but this time as a Galactic member. Don't know what I'm doing for either plan, so I'm open to suggestions.

My last-resort plans were to have Cresselia assisting to heal Volcanion, and for Heatran to be Regigigas's ally. Neither roles are really required. I think we had a rule about PCs only having one Legendary, but we started to ignore that as we made Legendaries their own characters, that just happen to side with our PCs. So whatever. Also in the manga: Victreebel feeding ritual where they impale a Fearow and drink its liquified insides. |

More like a reluctant ally maybe. May-December romance refers to a large age gap between people in a relationship. Grant X Meridia is canon and we mocked it for being 13 yo X 19 yo.
Meanwhile Micah is 16 and Corva is 30.
Half your age plus 7 people.
