Oh right. Yeah, that's not the case any more. I think Neal has the most brutal kills out of any non-Nova officer at this point.

I'm probably mis-remembering on the pacifism bit then...maybe that was another form.
Molly is kind of like Paula in Earthbound. Is she the strongest just because her prayers could beat Giygas? Eusine is lower than the stat trainers and Joshua but again, he cheats. Blue is top tier trainer but that places him just above the stat trainers and not much higher.

Joshua is dangerous because of Heart Swap, Illusions, Hypnosis, Ditto, and Rotom, but a combination of not fully realizing the power he has, always dealing with something able to resist one or more of the above, being only an above average trainer on a good day, and bad luck holds him back.
On the Stat Trainer front, Riley is an efficient martial artist that can view auras, but expending aura power weakens him, Marley is fast but needs to be in melee to do anything by herself and armor > knives, and Mira can crumple up bridges like paper and throw them, but gets KO'd within minutes simply from Cosmic Driving.
Hugh and Emma got supersuits that could in theory make them go toe-to-toe with some legendaries and upper-rank Nova soldiers, but as demonstrated with Duncan vs. Emma would very likely lose in a straight-up fight versus an admin; Duncan wasn't thinking straight, and yell he still almost killed Emma. Emma won against Jay because she ambushed him and sniped off a big potential threat at the start.
The rest are more or less average joes, with Rosa supposed to be a great trainer dealing with rust and mental trauma (Kyurem is independent from her). Cheryl is gym-leader or possibly Elite 4 tier. Yancy and Curtis are somewhere between average to mediocre, getting taught how to be better. Cobalion and Keldeo are B-tier legendaries.

Most important question is there any Pikachus left in the world?

I've expanded my idea a bit, but before I say anything about it, what size team should they be starting with if there's 3 of them?

Mewtwo's the one everyone's in, Yveltal is management problems, and Xerneas... exists.

No, I mean... their teams. Their Pokemon teams. I'll worry about what team they should be joining once I finish hammering out where they'd start.

All of Xerneas is either dead, missing, scattered, or merged into Team Mewtwo.

*opens topic on desktop*
*Gets a message saying "Tell me the teams you love (or love to hate) and I can keep you posted on how they're doing."*
Windows 10. Not even once.
As for Pokemon teams, it's largely up to you.

We originally said that trainers should only use 2 pokemon max, since in order to have a chance at resisting StarBurst you need a very strong bond with the pokemon. There's a bit in Pokemon Special that says trainers are limited to 6 Pokemon because a trainer can't properly bond with more than that, so we adapted.
That said, lots of people now have tech that either protects them from StarBurst, or avoid that issue. Remember that StarBurst isn't just mind control;it breaks open pokeballs and functionally releases the pokemon. Blue carries a PC storage system on his back and never lets any any Pokemon out for more than a second to protect them. A bunch of people in Mewtwo now have things called "Cosmic Drives" that offer the user various super powers. Things like using their pokemon's moves as their own, enhancing their physical abilities, or just outright making them immune to StarBurst. Point being that the pokemon themselves are rarely in the line of fire. Note that Cosmic Drives have been very plot restricted so it's not like anybody can just ask for one. On the non-good guy side, Shadow pokemon are also immune to StarBurst.
Also, there's a thing involving legendary pokemon and Mirage Islands I've been wanting to do, so if you need a convenient place to wash up on shore I have one.

So the three characters, for now I'm calling them AceTrainer♂, Sailor, and Lass. Each would have 4 to start.
At the start of the conflict, they were part of a small group of 9 trainers of various types. They formed a (very) unofficial gym, similar to the Fighting gym in Saffron's Gen I; they would pass out evolution stones to people able to clear their gym. When the conflict started, they decided it was their (very) unofficial duty to join in fighting against Nova... and they were absolutely destroyed early in the conflict. Apparently someone thought their (very) unofficial gym was way, way bigger of a threat than it really was. Three of them managed to escape, living and training in isolation, hiding out on Sailor's ship while waiting for a chance to strike back.

Makes sense. Would they have fought independently or aligned with Team Mewtwo at the start? Team Mewtwo is the "official" rebellion led by remnants of the pokemon league. "Lawful Neutral"
Team Xerneas was made of ex-Plasma members and people aligned with their ideologies, and were the "Lawful Good". They recently combined most of their members into Team Mewtwo.
Yveltal didn't have an organization until recently (Galactic, which is more of a "mutually beneficial backstabbing party" now), and was its MO was "point dangerous people at Nova and hope that lots of things die". "Chaotic Neutral"

Makes sense. Would they have fought independently or aligned with Team Mewtwo at the start? We're talking "Ready? G-" BAM. Wiped right out of the gate. They probably would've aligned with the majority of gym leaders, which would be... Mewtwo, right?

Yes that's right.
If you wanted them to get wiped that fast, you could have them been present at the Pokemon World Tournament where Nova first revealed themselves. And first revealed StarBurst. And had many trainers murdered by their own pokemon...
Yeah this isn't a happy RP.

That's... feasible, I guess? I'm planning to have them each using 2 pokemon recovered from their 6 dead members, on top of 2 of their own.
You can PM me anything I need to know for the thing you're doing and what I need to be doing for doing the thing.

Note for newcomers: All Pokemon in Nova only know 4 moves. But the applications and form of those moves can be heavily embellished on. Tailwind can create wind tunnels underwater for stealth travel. Magnetic Flux can be used to read RFIDs and steal credit card information. Ion Deluge can be used to convert bullets into Electric-type attacks, which can then be sponged by something with Lightning Rod. The same goes for applications of your pokemon's abilities (Zoroark's Illusions), and innate powers the pokemon has (Rotom controlling electronics). Phantom Force (effectively Ghost-type Dig)is often used as a way to teleport and create portals, for instance. Jay took Vaporen's ability to melt into a puddle and extrapolated that to becoming water vapour, making it able to turn into a living mist.

I'll edit in movesets and abilities later tonight.
I also need one last thing (besides approval) before I can start posting. An asspull number of days since the world tournament.

Would anyone mind if I post some stuff that happened during the Two weej Time skip?
And those 2 weeks were exactly 14 days, right?
