What I meant was but worded terribly, was a reboot would be fine because this one would keep going. I think your intent is for it to be that way anyway.
I meant that this Nova even if remade or remastered would always be a classic and would have to be paid homage to in some way. Not because it is the best, but because that's where the concepts and ideas came from for a reboot or remake.

First things first. Sorry that I've probably butchered Maurice's characterization and have been supporting the revived "Duncan for Big Bad" campaign.
Second, I would enjoy seeing you come back to Nova. You know how to drive the plot, and you did just as much work to build the RP as anyone else could have. I'm alright with turning Maurice back over to you. We've reached a point in the plot when Nova needs strong leadership again, and you could make that work. I would be happy to help fill you in on past events. It seems to me that you're really dedicated to reaching the end of Nova, so I don't see why you can't do it in the RP you helped build instead of a reboot.
And in the end, even if that doesn't work for you, I still hope that maybe you'll stick around the Verse and see some familiar and some new faces. The site is growing, and new readers and writers are always welcome. We would all be happy to welcome you into the Verse's strange little family.

I can't criticize any story decisions made after I left, and whatever happened in the story was good enough for it to continue on. It would be hard to get back into the RP after so long, and even with recaps I wouldn't know a lot of what transpired in the story, but if that's what you want I could try to get back into it.
I didn't mean to disrespect this site, as it is a perfect place for an ongoing dedicated RP, it just wouldn't work for creating a reboot due to nearly all of the members being the same writers of the original.

I think you would be quite shocked to know exactly how little has actually happened when it comes to story progression. We're currently just now reaching the end of the first major arc planned after you left.

Woah. This Jay guy actually seems like a pretty chill dude.
Though I can't agree with your thought that the reboot wouldn't work by way of the writers all being the same. For one thing, there's the new writers to include as well, along with the maturation some others have experienced. For another, this could be partially alleviated by making some people take different characters, or encouraging them to take different directions with ones they previously used (like not making Palkia a hardcore drug user, for example).

I put a lot of thought into how everything comes together in this one, but all those details aren't needed if you just want to have a good guys vs. bad guys story. It's just that all the details I've built around it make me really attached to the lore and setting of this iteration.
Golurk, do whatever you want. Just remember that your last crazy idea resulted in a three-and-a-half way orgy of multiple personality psychosis.
